I had high hopes of First Rate Auto Solutions being able to give me a quality job on a small door panel replacement job. I trusted Brad, the owner, with my truck because we had prior business relations, and he asked to give me a bid. I wanted to keep the business relationship going, so I finally called Brad to get the work done. Huge Mistake!!! Brad misquoted the project price and timeline, which in turn ended up costing me more time and money. And to top it off, I still have a truck that has a door where the paint doesn't match the rest of the truck and also has chips and airbubbles left in the paint job. The biggest slap in the face, after trying to do good business with Brad is he had the nerve to offer to fix my paint on my own dime and time and get this...put five dollars in my gas tank for the multiple extra trips to his shop. Who (auto mechanic) gives a 2 year warranty on their work??? Need I say more?! These guys know their stuff. They diagnosed and fixed my '88 Bronco II right the first time, and it's been in two different shops before this one. It's been running like a champ since. I know this sounds very weird, but, I actually can't wait to take my bronco back in....just for a visit. There were some minor things wrong that did not impair it's performance so they said just bring it in when that part wears out... no need to pay for it now. Who does that anymore??? Engine head is destroyed. I took my car here for a head gasket job. It was fixed for 5 years, then had problems. Took it back to them and they could not figure out the problem. It took them a full two weeks and two unnecessary repairs to realize that it was the head gaskets again. After not trusting them because they couldn't figure it out, I took it to a new shop that told me they used a grinder on the engine head. Block is now warped and to fix it we are looking at rebuilding the engine. Don't go to these guys. read more

They were able to help me get my vehicle fixed and ready to travel with little notice. They understood the circumstance I was in and their customer service was unbelievable. Floyd went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of in a speedy amount of time and that the vehicle was safe for me to travel. You don't find that kind of top notch customer service these days. He was great about keeping me informed of the diagnosis and cost and saw that the work was completed and done correctly. My daughter has been going to Floyd for auto service for a few years, and has always been very satisfied with the results. When I recently was in town visiting her, I needed major engine service (head gasket failure). She recommended that I go to First Rate Auto Solutions, where Floyd now works. They were able to repair the car in less than a week (and this is a major repair job); the price quoted (and charged when finished) was significantly less than the quotes I received from a chain repair shop, and from a franchised new car dealer of this brand. So far, the car has been running smooth and cool after the repair.
