It is approximately a 3 hour drive from our home to Autumn's in home studio in Bixby, OK. Autumn has driven to our home town on 2 occasions to do photo shoots of our little one to make things easier on our child, our schedules & to be able to capture some locations that are dear to our family. Her willingness to work with our needs coupled with her creative ideas & her eclectic artistic sensibilities makes the cost of her services and products worth it. During our last session with Autumn, my mother, daughter & I traveled to Tulsa & spent several hours on Friday evening discussing what I had in mind for our shoot that was scheduled to take place the next day. This was in addition to the multiple communications & inspiration photos that had been exchanged between Autumn & I leading up to our meeting. We arrived to her home studio on Saturday around noon and she worked with us well into the night. I know from my experience with her that our shoot was much longer than typical - we did 4 different sets and at least that many costume changes plus a nap and dinner. However - I also know that Autumn does whatever she can to ensure that her clients are pleased and have pictures that really capture special moments. I didn't know it until I started having Autumn photograph my child, but she does more than take pictures of kids - she does family pics, engagement pics, dog pics, senior pics, etc. Some tips: To get to her studio you turn down a small road leading to the Bemo Indian Church & once you past the church just keep going to house behind the church & that's her home studio. Book early because her calendar fills up quickly - especially around holidays & on weekends. Be open to her suggestions even if it's not what you had in mind. Some of the best pics I've ended up with have come from sets that she added when I've gone for other things. There's a reason she's an artist and I'm an attorney!

At that time I was 23 weeks pregnant, I reached out to her and after speaking, she provided me a very detailed follow up via email giving me some time to decide which package to select. If you're considering a swaddle session it's important to reach out to April before the birth of your baby, that way she can have you scheduled for that month (don't worry about if your little one arrives early/later than expected, my little guy arrived 3 weeks early and April quickly reworked her schedule to accommodate us.) Definitely not the easiest situation for any photographer. He did a beautiful job in a very short amount of time, a three hour cruise. He got all the standard wedding photos of the ceremony, and posed shots of the wedding party and friends. He then continued to shoot candid photos that were spectacular. At one point he noticed that the boat was passing under the Coronado Bay Bridge and hustled my bride and I up on deck for yet another once in a lifetime shot. Would I recommend Resolution Photography? Absolutely. At the time he was one of the most sought after wedding photographers in San Diego and in the past 9 years I'm sure he has gotten even better, if that's possible. I haven't had contact with Sean since he did our wedding, but I believe that credit should be given where due. Sean was all set up when we arrived on the boat, worked his butt off the whole time, and got the finished product to us in short order at a fair price. What more can I say except that he was a joy to work with and he got the best out of everyone he photographed!
