If I could give less than one star I would.. I went in for a pedicure, first they didn't have running hot water.... Second my toes started bleeding. Once it was time for the massage I told the tech that I have sensitive skin and the hot stone bothered me. Well instead of just giving me a normal massage she just painted my toes. All of this would have been fine since I have a regular salon I love it's just closed on Sunday's, but they charged me for the deluxe pedicure when all I did was get my toenails painted. I would be recommend everyone go to posh nails a few miles away! They are the best! read more

After reading the reviews on here, and in need of a new salon, I gave it a try. I felt rushed! While receiving a pedicure by a gentleman, a lady was working on my hands. It was in no way relaxing and my pedi was horrible (the polish wasn't done evenly and looked streaked). I won't be back and can't recommend this place. read more

Walked in around noon on a Wedneday and was immediately greeted and tended to. Had eyebrows waxed, shellac, and basic pedi for a total of $49. Shellac was very good, but not perfect. Excellent service, pleasant staff, relaxing atmosphere. I was offered a beverage several times throughout my visit. Salon was clean and organized. Will definitely go back! read more

So word amongst my coworkers is THIS PLACE IS AWESOME & Tony is nothing less than amazing. I was going to check them out after work. I'm one of those ppl who doesn't carry any cash & a lot of nail salons prefer to have their payments and tips in cash.... Sooooo like any responsible adult, I called first. I actually wanted to use my credit card for the points. The lady assured me they take visa, discover, Mastercard & American express. Perhaps we had a language barrier... but when I got there they only except visa and Mastercard. I have both in debit and credit versions. BUT OF COURSE my card that is running anywhere points is discover. It pissed me off so bad because I drove across town (from the airport area), CALLED FIRST and past 62627399 banks to get there! Horrible customer service. I changed my mind about the Polish color and I was told this by the manager, "next time you come make sure to know what you want, because people here don't like doing your nails because you take too long." Mind you this is after I was upsold the whole entire time and tried new expensive things. And get this they weren't even busy, not like that would have been an excuse but still. The minute I changed my mind on the gel polish I was ridiculed in front of all the other customers. I didn't want to leave a tip because of such a poor service, and none else than the manager told me that "look now everyone is looking at you."not for a second apologizing for her rude comment.Customer service is the last thing on her mind, and her being the manager says alot about the business. Very disappointed, they did a nice job but jacked up the price. My daughter and teammates wye staying in the hotel next door and decided to go get pedicured, they asked how much before getting services and we're told 20.00 but each read charged differently. My daughter's was 27.00 when I asked what happened to 20.00 I was told that's without massage but I gave massage another girl was charged 42.00, she got no chip put on without knowing it. NOT COOL! These were college girls just in town to play lacrosse while on Springbreak they didn't have extra money they were on a budget and this place was sneaky. They should have been happy to get the extra business from a bunch of nice girls. They even charged them extra money for the nail files. read more

I read all the review on this site and thought that this place would be a great place to get a full-set of gel nails done for my holiday party; however, I was completely wrong. After reviewing the reviews that First Nails got, I called and asked them if they took Credit Cards and if they had any openings and they said yes. Ok, that all went fine. I show up really early for my appointment and they took me right over to the chair. I showed the lady a picture of exactly what I want and ask if she could do it and she said, "Yes, no problem." Then they offered me tea, water, or something to drink. Everything was going great until this moment. The Lady started filling my nails the wrong way and it was painful. Then, I read the sign, "Cash tips only." I was thinking to myself, I only have my credit card with me and why did they not say anything on the phone when I called. As the nail lady is doing my nails, I try to have a conversation with her and she completely ignore me, which made it so impersonal. I was feeling very uncomfortable and did not know how to tell her that she was hurting me. I thought she would get the idea when was bleeding, but she was oops. Furthermore, the nails was nothing like what I have asked for and they look like a 5 yrs did them. I had another appointment to go to (it took 2 hour to get them done), so I did not have time to argue with her about my nails. She then told me that it would cost $43. I was just get me out of this place and I will never return again. I was telling her that I can pay for her service but I will have to come back and give her a tip because I have no cash on me. She said, "It's ok, we can put it on the credit card. How much do you want to give?" Then she starts talking to the other ladies saying that I was being rude to put her tip on the credit card in the Vietnamese language. They did not think I understood them because I am white. If they look at the credit card they would have seen that my last name is Asian. Moreover, 2 days later I notice that there are air pockets under my nails and I call to speak to the manager and tells him that the nails are already coming off and that the nail stylist also mess up my real nails because she drilled my cuticles down through my nail to the skin. He said, "Come in tomorrow and I will see if it is our felt or your felt and if it is your felt then you are paying to fix them." At this point my blood is boiling. I explain that I work night shift and it is very difficult for me to come in during your business hours and could I come in on Saturday because it was my day off. "No, because that would be too long of a period. We only guarantee our work for 3 days and after that you are responsible." I go in to meet with the manager. At first he argue with me and I look at him and said that I am trying to be nice in front of your customers and you are arguing with me. He was trying to be right even though he can see the air pockets under my nails and says, they are not coming off. See? ... I cannot help you if I do not know that is wrong. I am telling you what is wrong and you are not listing. Secondly their staff was completely rude to me. I told him that she said in Vietnamese and he said that they would never talk about a customer like that. She did not think that I could understand her and she not say that to me in English... We speak Vietnamese to each other to explain things, not to talk about the customer. I said that I understand that because my husband is Asian and I go to an Asian church, however, this was not the case. He continue to argue with me. I said take off the nails and I will not be coming here again. All he said, "I would like your business." Did not say, I am sorry and how can I make this right. After reviewing tutorials on youtube and becoming informed on the difference of gel vs acrylics I realized today that I was taken advantage of. I normally do not go to nail salons and I was reminded why today. The young nail tech that worked on my nails not only applied acrylics to my nails, when I asked for gels, but she also failed to form my nails to my request. She did an average job and so, at the time, didn't realize anything wrong until I got home and my nails hurting for hours from being sore. Red flag number one! So as I went online to see why this occurred I learned that the powder she used was in fact acrylic and not gel and my nail beds were filed too deep. Oh and not to mention they charged me for the gel nails which costs more. I will be filing complaints across the board because this has to stop!!! Crooks getting away ripping honest people off! They want to come across as sanitary by giving a complimentary bag of files they use while there but this means nothing if they are not cleaning their drills. It is sad they have to rip people off to live good in the U.S.A. read more

I moved up here from FL a little over a year ago. in FL i had my own nail lady who did my nails in her house, and a fantastic and clean salon where i got my pedicures. i have not stepped foot in a nail salon since we moved here because i am picky. i read the reviews on this place and they were good enough for me to check it out. the first thing i looked for was their rating, which is an A by the way. then i asked if they had time for a pedicure and gladly accepted me to a chair. i was then offered water or hot tea, and if they could get me anything else. which im pregnant, so thats a pretty big question. then the pedicure started, it was a man who did it and he was amazing. he massaged my legs my feet.. used hot stones, all the frills. then a woman came over and asked if i wanted a manicure and this was my day to do things for me so i said sure why not. she started working on my manicure while i was getting my pedicure, double plus. when all was said and done, he helped me put my flip flops on, i washed my hands, and sat down to finish getting polish on my nails .. not only did she paint my nails, and did a WONDERFUL job, but she then lotion and massaged my arms. i fell instantly in love with this place. not to mention, they give you a file and a card that can be stamped everytime you come in and when its full you get money off your next visit. i WILL be returning here. this place was an A++ in my book, read more
