Aquablue Adventures brought the boat to Islamorada sandbar, the music and most importantly unlimited shots of Fireballs just in case u need a little warm up. The vibe is ... put a bathing suit, get in the water and relax as you will have arrived in Paradise. Oh and if you forget to pack a lunch bag not to worry - there is a floating food truck parked right there with burgers and hot dogs. The boat was spacious and clean which I appreciated. Kathy immediately recognized how special this moment could be for us and she made sure to capitalize on it in a way only a true captain could. She made sure we got the opportunity to fully take this in...something we will never forget! From start to finish, they were thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The captain and crew were very friendly and energetic throughout the experience, which helped calm my nerves. They were also very patient and friendly and taught me how to put on my fins, my mask, etc. The area we went to was great! The water was absolutely gorgeous and clear, but the creatures under the water were a little mundane towards the end of the hour. I saw some cool fish like parrot fish, and a few nurse sharks, but near the end, it got a little repetitive. Luckily, we only spent around an hour in that area so it was a very short-lived boredom. When we went to the sandbar, I'll admit it wasn't the best. The water was really dirty (brownish) and there wasn't much sandbar to walk on. However, the lily pad attached to the boat was super relaxing to chill on, and we had some stingrays and nurse sharks pass us by. Overall, a great experience with a lovely crew. I wish the sandbar was a bit better, and that the snorkeling spot had a little more diversity in fish, but overall I would definitely recommend

Rented 21' deck boat for a week in Duck Key, FL…read more DO NOT, repeat DO NOT take anything they say unless they show you the written instruction in the contract AND TAKE YOUR OWN PHOTO OF BOAT, INTERIOR, TOP AND ESPECIALLY THE PROP. They charged us $196 to replace an already beat up prop they said we damaged. Best of all they said WE SHOULD have taken a photo before we took possession and they TELL their customers to do that. NOT TRUE. Probably nice folks but not happy with their treatment. Maybe THEY should take a video of equip and prop WITH the customer upon taking possession to prevent any dispute. But that would weaken their ability to keep there boats like new at renters expense.

The kayak was more comfortable than we expected & we stayed out for four hours. I have attached a photo of our route with some pictures. They loaned us a waterproof phone case which was essential. We had a pretty significant downpour which added excitement. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Keys. The price is right and Brian & his assistant really set us up well. Remember to call if they turn you away at the gate. I would also call a day ahead to let them know when you are coming.
