As an experienced Cosmo, who has managed an all men's grooming center, I must say I had a bad experience at this barbershop! We had an appointment at 3:45, my son didn't get seated until 4:10. All the barbers were not waiting masks! Unfortunately they also were not following state board guidelines. I gave it a 2 stars because my son really likes the barber. To me timing and being punctual and reliable is everything. I strongly feel like the barber should have gave himself a 30 minute cushion. It was a cool lil shop, the first time I came they turned me away even though it was 4 hrs before closing time, I get it they busy I tried a second time they took me in I even had a friend n he was just sitting there they offered him a haircut so maybe depending on how busy n luck that u will be taken if ur a walk in on a busy day. Great little shop just off HWY 99. I needed a last minute hair cut for my sons picture day. He hadn't had one in months and super cuts jacked his hair up last time. Their hours are clearly listed, yet they turned my husband away, 4 hours before they were supposed to close. In all honesty, my husband, a Deputy Sheriff did not like the vibe. It has more of a "ghetto street" feel. For some, that may be what they're into, but being in our mid-30s, we're a little more on the traditional side. Back to Hair Dynamix. it's always hard to do walk ins at barber shops, cuz they are always booked up which is understandable, that is why I usually call and not just show up! :) you guys are always sweet and accommodating when I call for my son, so thanks, very professional. i dont mind the loud music and the vibes are always positive. all that matters is my son likes it there. I did not get the guys name that cut my lil man's hair today, but i just wanted to thank u again for your patience and kind heart. my older son had an appointment today, so as I was waiting I asked one of the guys if he had time for my youngest with autism. age 3. his appointment did not show so he took my son. I think he's sensitive to the clippers noise or maybe vibrations idk, but he screamed n flipped out majority of time on my lap. this dude was understanding, cuz I was dying wanting to cry. I'm not embarrassed by my son at all I just felt bad for other guys that come to the spot n hear a screaming child not knowing y he throwing a fit, but not one person looked or said anything. all you guys could have been rude or stopped hair cut something, but nope everyone minded their business. Mike the Barber is a magician, got a great haircut from the man. This place has a great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. I was nervous to get my haircut after growing it out for nearly a year, but I have no regret in doing it. Only thing I would say is it could be a little more family-friendly, one of the barber's had a mouth on him, just not someone id bring my family around.
