It sounded quite interesting to be able to order Indian and chinese in one go, and there are always money off vouchers on the menu so I thought we'd give it ago. Big Mistake. We ordered some chinese dishes and the food was really bad, my crispy chilli beef tasted like fried cardboard, really you could not tell there was meant to be beef in it and my boyfriends chop suey was stodgy and tasteless. The worst delivery service in Cardiff. I rang them with my order and was told it would be at least 2 hours! I politely said that would be fine (even though it wasn't really). I gave them my phone number so they could call me once they arrived. I live in a block of flats with a concierge so people need to call me to get in. 2.5 hours later I was STILL waiting for my food so I gave them a call. They had written my phone number down incorrectly and hadn't bothered to talk to the concierge about contacting me. They said they would warm my food up and bring it over. I said that I wouldn't have re-heated food since it can make you ill. After a lot of arguing they said they would cook fresh food for me but couldn't guarantee the time it would arrive. These people spent over an hour arguing with us on the phone over the space of several phone calls over a missing boiled rice and chips from our order. The people on the other end of the phone showed a worrying lack of knowledge of the law regarding missing orders and refunds, antagonising us and swearing at us over the phone. We will never use this restaurant again. The name of the restaurant is also very misleading - nowhere in the menu does it actually say the real name of the place, and it's instead called "delicious chinese and indian specialities". Although they advertise as opening at 5, if you ring up at 5 you will always be quoted a delivery time of between 6-6:30pm as the drivers only start work at 6. read more

I got a voucher through the door for this company, and thought I'd give them a try. It took 4 times of them answering the phone before someone actually bothered speaking, but I put this down to a possible bad connection. I ordered the chinese set meal for two. It arrived when promised, and the delivery driver was perfectly pleasant. The food was, in my opinion, total crap. Five star, complete and utter crap. It was luke warm, poorly cooked, and for a company claiming to have three chinese chefs disgusting. The prawn crackers were stale. The food was so bad we didn't eat most of it - a few mouthfuls of everything except the rice (which was nice, to be fair) was enough to convince us we didn't want any more. My friend has a staffordshire terrier - a total dustbin of a dog. The food was that bad, even she turned her nose up! I love chinese food, and don't think this company's food qualifies. We decided to try them after getting some vouchers through the door Big mistake! Had to wait for 1.5hrs for food to be delivered. Despite the food being delivered in an insulated bag, it was absolutely cold and tasteless. The curry was some red lukewarm sludge, the tandoori meat bright red and cold, the keena naan undercooked and sticky and weet and sour pork had hardly any pork in it. Most of the food (it it can be called that) had to be thrown out. If you want something to eat, avoid this place at all cost!! You have been warned!! read more

Their mistake and they blamed me! I had been ordering from this Chinese for two years. I ordered from them today the same thing I always order, but an hour later. I gave them my address near Pontypridd, where they have delivered many times before, asked to pay by credit card they asked me if the card was at the same as the delivery address and I said yes. The transaction went through as the postcode I gave (starting CF38) matched the one on my card. Over an hour and a half later I get a call to my home 01443 number saying the delivery driver is outside my house. He was not, so I rang them back and asked where he was. They said he was in Carephilly and they would call me back! Using common sense I type my street name and CF83 into Google Maps and there was a match! I rang them back to clarify this, and it was the case! I asked them to recook the food as it would be cold they wouldn't. I asked them for a refund they won't give that either, saying I gave them the wrong address and I had done it before!! This has been my home address since birth, and they have delivered to it countless times before! I'm not going to give them a Caerphilly address when I'm in Pontypridd am I?! Surely they should be able to tell that a 01443 number is Pontypridd and not the 029 one that is Caerphilly! It disgusts me that I have been ordering from them for two years and they treat me like this, effectively calling me a liar. I'm sure others reading this will accept that what they did was type the first half of the postcode the wrong way around into the GPS and made a match with my street address. The thing is I really enjoy this Chinese, and you'd have thought they'd value a customer who had been ordering from them as long as I had. Clearly not, so I'm warning others, that if you're happy to be abused if they make a mistake then order from them, I won't be again, no matter how much I used to enjoy it. Totally dissagree with the feedback although they are very busy at times ie internationals etc.. i always find Daniele (the girl who usualy takes my order) to offer exceptional service & help while offering advice on the vast meanu. I have tried loads of different items both Chinese and Indian and even some times mixing them. Which is a dream come true....the curries are packed with only the best quality breast meat with a deep lush taste and beautiful flavours. And the Chinese is also amazing especialy my fav the duck..only the best quality ingredients are used..even specialist imported Japanese beef...obviously everybody has their favs that's why this place is a winner everytime...every body gets exactly what they want even the kids as they even offer an extended kids favs meanu.. You won't be disappointed please note that the previous feedback is really silly ie the delay in the snow & a small delay on rugby internationals what do you expect seriously!!!!! The following is my opinion: This takeaway is dreadful! I would encourage people not to order from them. I placed my order for 2 which totalled £22 (with a £5 discount voucher) at 8:20pm and was advised a 45 - 60 minute wait. At 9:30 - 9:50 I rang 3 times and was told each time that the driver had left some time before and to expect my food within 5 mins. During the last call I was told to ask the delivery driver to call the takeaway when he arrived in order to confirm a partial refund. The driver arrived at 9:55. After standing outside in the rain for 5 mins I was offered £2! I managed to get this increased to £5 and was not prepared to wait in the rain any longer. When we ate the food it was lukewarm (including the coca-cola!). The tikka massala was ok, but the lamb dhansak container was full of more watery oil than sauce. The mushroom rice was poor and the bajiis were dry. The menu proudly announces "every dish now cooked freshly to order" - which should be implied, but is sadly not even likely to be true from the evidence given to us. We ate a small amount and threw the rest away. I rang the takeaway and they were not prepared to refund further. I said I would be forced to write reviews of my experience and the owner told me that wouldn't affect him! He also implied I should be grateful to have only received my dinner 45mins after the latest delivery estimate as many other of his customers live further away and would not get theirs until 2 hours from placement of order! Had a leaflet through the door with some vouchers attached, seemed good value for money so we thought we'd give them a try. Rang at about 8pm and was told that delivey would be between 8.40 and 9.10, as it was Bank Holiday Monday and they were quite hectic.I ordered chinese for myself and indian for my huband.The order came to £18.35 so I used my £5 voucher.the Order arived at about 8.50. The delivery driver was quite pleasant, and I have to say my meal was fantastic the best chinese i've had in a long while. My Husband was very impressed with his chicken korma as well. read more

Well I am quite surprised by the other reviews on here... We had a try of these guys last night and it was so good I felt I had to review it! Obviously some people here have been fairly unlucky - I had a fantastic Chinese an my girlfriend had an Indian which was sooo tasty! The delivery was not the quickest but was within the quoted time - I guess it takes a bit longer if you have a mix of Chinese and Indian...? I would not even give these people a star if I could! First off we ordered the food at 7:15 they said due to the weather (snow) the drivers are running a bit late so they said the food would be with me between 8 and half past (fair point), qtr to 10 it finally turned up after numerous calls to the shop during which time they didnt seem to know where my order was! so the first thing I done was check the order and low and behold it was the wrong order to add insult to injury it was cold, we then told the driver who didnt really seemed intrested and told us to call the shop which we did. The lady was not helpful in the slightest and I asked for a refund 3 weeks later im still waiting for this refund! my tip is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL if you do please pay with CASH as you will not get youre money back read more
