Went twice in one week back in January, both unpleasant experiences…read more First night i went because of severe lower abdominal pain, they did blood work, ct scan, urine labs, all came back "clear" according to the dr, he also said that when my urinalysis came back it was clear. Well he lied, I checked my charts when i got home to see that there was actually blood, protein, white blood cells, and cloudiness in my urine, the ct scan also showed thickening of bladder wall. I went to urgent care two days later to find I had a kidney infection. Imagine if I had taken the ER doctors word, my infection would've gone untreated. Few days later i went back feeling severely unwell, worsening pain. The nurse did not hook up my vitals which was the first concern, then she brings in morphine, I asked her not to give it to me because I did not want it, she did not listen and said "we want to stay ahead of the pain" and proceeds to put it in my IV, I then had a very severe reaction to it, and there was no way for them to see my vitals because they were not hooked up. She flushed my IV after I begged her to get it out of me. Overall, terrible experience with this hospital, and I refuse to go here ever again, I'd much rather suffer a long ride to UNC or Duke if i'm ever experiencing something like that again.

Absolutely the worst place to take your family if you don't plan on vaccinating or are even on a…read moredelayed schedule; even if you have a child that has special needs they don't care. We had our child genetically tested by a reputable doctor in Austin and it was proven that our sons issue was from something after he was born, not within his DNA. When I tried to explain this to the receptionist because they wanted me to sign their policy, they changed their attitude and said that they didn't think they would see us but would explain to the doctor. Well, the doctor didn't have the you know what to come out and tell me to my face, he sent his nurse and office manager to tell me that my family is not welcome and then proceeded to hand me a handout that says parents that don't vaccinate are selfish and self centered, risking other families for their own needs. I never was confrontational about any of this discussion but it was very disheartening and condescending to be treated in such a way. Wether you agree or disagree, the fact is, not all people can handle vaccinations. Just as all people can't handle medications. Remember, a vaccine is a drug, some people will have side effects and some will die, just as some people will be protected and others won't be after they are vaccinated. To force a parent to vaccinate when they have a sick child, who has proof their child was changed after a vaccine(s), is medical fascism. If they want to force vaccines on you or your child, then they should be prepared for their patients to come back to them with serious side effects and liability, some up to a month after the shots.
