And unfortunately they are not the most caring of friendly in my opinion. So today had to handle a very important situation. I decided to try this branch and see if there was any difference in the bank's customer service. And absolutely yes! Not one but three ppl approached me to help me resolve my problem. I don't really like banks. But I can see myself visiting this one with some frequency. Thanks y'all!

I have enough experience to know the wait until the amount has posted to my account. It's been showing posted for several days. I called the number after they spend a lot of time verify my identity then they tell me that it see the amount has posted, and they need to transfer me. of course. But then I'm talking to people from a telephone room you can hear a lot of noise and they do not speak English as a first language. We're dealing with money here. I want someone who truly understands me and that was not the case. After I verify my identity three different times with them because they cannot understand me, they inform me that even though it shows posted it really isn't and I need to monitor my account for 5 days and then go through the whole mess again. I am very seriously considering closing my account. This was a bad move on their part. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the person I was speaking to just continued to talk and apologize and talk and apologize and I finally yelled transfer me. What are they thinking? I've had my account for close to 30 years. And I have been so happy until now. They really need to get their act together.

Truly annoying. No, not the people inside the credit union. The majority of my interactions with…read morethe staff have been great. My beef is with the parking lot you enter to reach the people inside. Either by lobby or drive thru, the parking lot is ridiculous either way. The gigantic speed bumps ( they have a million) are obnoxiously huge. Are they trying to protect the neighborhood school children who wander around in bank parking lots? Are they trying to deter bank robbers? Probably not going to work, in crime shows they don't care about the condition of their getaway car anyway. Consider this review something like a Public Service Announcement.

The warm greeting when you walk in the door is quite a bit different, and a throwback to old time banking. In my opinion, they are the best. I was assisted right away and was offered condolences by Kendrea. She was sensitive and had a lot of empathy for someone like myself who is grieving. Kendrea was helping me with a private matter and it was handled in the lobby? I really didn't feel comfortable but, it looks like she didn't have her own office. What can you do? Maybe, it's because, they are in the process of remodeling. I worked with Juana and she was really nice, personable, hospitalable and understanding. She was very organized with the paperwork and was working on closing some accounts the night before but, she had to wait on the San Antonio office to send the paperwork and they opened at 9:00 am and that was our appointment time. So, it took two and a half hours to get two accounts closed. It's a really cute building. I really don't see why they need to renovate. But, so far it looks good. The Bathroom was clean. It's one large family restroom with two commodes so, lock the door behind you. Overall, the staff is really nice and dress casual. Another Service member offered us water and more seating. Customers that entered the lobby dressed casual too. United Texas Credit Union offers a high interest rate as well. I would definitely recommend this Credit Union. It's a well maintained facility with nice people and offers a high interest rate on certain accounts.
