They were able to help me print a debit card on spot when it was not arriving in the mail before my Hong Kong travel and provided me with tons of coin rolls in order for me to empty my piggy bank. You transfer money to meet the bonus requirements 3. They block your account NOW THE KICKER ! To unblock your account they require YOU COME IN PERSON TO A BRANCH !!!! More incredible is they only have branches around Pitsburgh PA. So they say now that my account was blocked by them (for no given reason and with money in it), they want me to drive 7 hours from Philadelphia to Pitsburgh and offer no other method to "verify me"... and no other information is given over the phone by any rep. And no other method to contact except I have to drive 7 hours to get access back to MY MONEY that they are holding hostage. We need a CLASS ACTION SUIT against these scammers.

PNC Bank was terrible customer service. As the POA for my 92 year old mother, I often need to…read morecheck her accounts to make sure her bills are being paid. Because she gets confused easily, she often makes mistakes with her passwords to access her online banking. In my attempts to contact customer service, it takes hours and constant texting of security codes to her little flip phone, and question after question just to attempt to rectify her issues. Their system for security is inept, as are the Frontline customer service reps. I constantly have to ask to speak to managers to get these issues addressed. It seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. We have been having issues with her accounts for months, and one of the service reps actually paid a $299.00 bill to a scammer! I am at my wits end with this bank, their solution for changing passwords is to send a letter in the mail to her address with a temporary code, taking somewhere around 5 days, and then the codes don't work. I am only thankful that my personal accounts are with a competitor and I never have these issues. They've locked her accounts, and paid things from the wrong account, causing her to be past due on utility payments and having her autopay privileges suspended. PNC Bank is making it very difficult to assist my mother in maintaining her independence. They are not helpful when we call them, and are causing my mother to experience stress that she does not need. Terrible bank with atrocious customer service and systems. Avoid at all costs!

I love Mellons, I love ever part of the Mellons particularly the Mellon Center…read more So obviously I was going to love this amazing towering glass-and-steel building that is one of the many skyscrapers which dominates the glorious skyline of downtown Pittsburgh. Inside, the building looks brand spanking new and very spacious as you can imagine. In an added plot twist, there is an underground passage right beneath the building (just go down from the main lobby) where there are a series of lunchtime-centric restaurants including the amazing Istanbul Grille. If every skyscraper had such wonders beneath it, I would spend all my time beneath skyscrapers. But as it happens, I stick to being down underneath this Mellon. Parking in this area is tricky during busy times, but if you manage to find it nearby, come and check out Istanbul Grille below this amazing building. The best place to view the skyline is from way up on Grandview Drive at the incredible lookout points. And you may be spending all your time in Pittsburgh after reading my reviews, but be aware that "BNY"... Baltimore Needs You.

After continual promises of closings and dates, they started delaying, week after week, costing me time and money. When one of my bill payments fell through the cracks because it was scheduled to post on a day that we were closing, they denied me the mortgage. They asked me for the same information over and over, to the point where I don't even think they were reviewing what I was sending them, they were just pacifying me until they could find a justifiable reason to deny me. When I gave it to them (a mistake, but MY mistake nonetheless), they all of a sudden were right on top of their job and denied me within 24 hours. Kimberlee Hill, the loan officer reviewing my information, was inept, would NOT return a phone call (when that would have resolved all of the issues and we wouldn't be in this situation). I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE as they have lousy customer service and horrible communication skills.
