When other neurosurgeon almost literally killed me, it's him I continually put my life and trust in. I don't think twice when he talks to me. He doesn't throw a bunch of medication on you. He's also a pain management doctor. He doesn't rush you, he is genuinely listening to you and never forgets anything you say. He will ask my mom about me if I have missed an appointment. It's amazing what he remembers considering that amount of patients he sees. I'd put my children's lives in his hands. He's honest, he's LISTENING, don't get it wrong, I don't always like what he tells me, BELIEVE ME, but I trust him and at the end of the day we're talking about life and death. If you're in need of a neurologist (his experience goes beyond that ) this is your answer. I'm writing this in the St. Vincent hospital. I was admitted AGAIN! If they would just call him. I'm in here bc of my heart but I ended up with seizure/pain issues. They're idiots. They won't give me TYLENOL! I'm going to leave against medical advice. I swear. The neurosurgeon responsible for destroying my brain in 2013 is affiliated with this hospital. Anyhow, that's neither here nor there. I can tell you this, ppl come from all over just to see Dr. Nabizadeh. We all know when you have an appointment with him to not make plans bc it takes all day. He's packed. It's worth it. He does some in house procedures too.

The appointments are never rushed and she takes the time to make sure all issues are addressed and that I'm clear on plan of action. The staff are great as well, especially Annie, they are friendly and helpful and make sure you are not waiting on your appointment. The program at Balanced Physician Care is reasonable and I love having full access to my Dr even after hours. Where else can you text your Dr with a concern on the weekend and get a personal response within an hour? I would not change a thing- the Dr, program and staff all deserve 5 stars

There are a great number of patients going here and that is for a reason. Yes they do get behind at times but when you have to spend the right amount of time with a patient they do not hesitate. Sometimes it is tough to get an appointment but when you do they spend the time needed with you. It is interesting to note that the complaints made here are generally due to people not making apointments, coming in after hours and wanting to self prescribe. I prefer to listen to the professionals.

I wouldn't usually review a medical office, but my experience today was so great I just had to! I…read moremet with Dr. Patel last week and he seemed confident and informed. He promptly scheduled me for an infusion this week and that's what I had today. There is plenty of parking, a large lobby, and even a vending machine for snacks if your infusion takes a while like mine did! Let me preface I have a horrible fear of needles, so this kind of place is a nightmare for me. When I told the nurses and the people who draw blood, they were so quick to make me as comfortable as possible. Kris, the nurse manager, was able to find a vein in my baby sized veins. She was so patient, kind, and compassionate. I get anxiety about being a burden since I can be difficult, but she didn't make me feel that way for a second. Another honorable mention is the nurse I had, Jasmine, who was so attentive and supportive. She explained things very thoroughly and made me feel confident in the treatment I was getting. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. Overall, if you come here, be assured you'll have some great care with professionals who lead with compassion and patience. No one wants to go to a cancer center, but the nurses and doctors change that once you meet them.
