Don't want to be ripped off by an expensive taxi ride to/from Ezeiza Airport? Problems solved. Found this place online, Manuel Tienda Leon. I am surprised none of the locals recommended it to us. For $245 Argentine pesos (approximately $30), my wife and I got: - 2 Manuel Tienda Leon one-way bus transfer to Ezeiza Airport for our evening flight out of Buenos Aires (the buses leave on the half-hour) - A luggage locker where we could store our backpacks and suitcases. We were put in touch with Martin Agazzi who tailored our excursion. We wired money and were emailed plane tickets, hotel vouchers, and everything we would possibly need. Tickets were sent to the Marriott as well. We took a taxi from the hotel to the airport. Once we got off our flight, we saw our driver with our name listed. He took us to our five star luxurious hotel, which was lovely. Marco and a driver picked us up with another couple for our tour of the Brazilian Falls in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Marco was very informative, knowledgeable, insightful, and personable. He guided us on shuttles, across trails, took wonderful photographs, handled passports, and made our day very memorable and special. Our second day was of the Argentina Falls. We were picked up at our hotel at 7:30. Carlos whisked us to the green trail above the falls to the blue trail below the falls us onto the jungle boat ride into the falls. His English & Spanish was superb. He kept track of all 14 of us, and our day was smooth and without an incident. We got to meet interesting, kind & wonderful new friends . Ten minutes after we were dropped off at the hotel, we were picked up and taken to the airport. Our overnight excursion to Iguazú Falls went without a hitch. It was seamless, easy and a pleasure. The staff of Raza Travel did a wonderful job of taking care of us when we don't speak the language nor know where we're going. We highly recommend Raza Travel!

Possibly due to Saturday? There was some traffic as we approached the Terminal but they managed it well and we moved through it quickly. We were expecting long lines as the Cruise company had experienced delays with the previous trip but the terminal had a solid process with enough people to collect luggage and get us through security and passport check in a timely manner. A substantial waiting area and they used a numbering system to call groups for check-in. We had to take a Bus to the ship dock/boarding area which was a first as we've been able to walk to previous boarding points. Overall, clean, organized and made for a seamless experience.

While very cute and not as hectic as the main airport, it can get claustrophobic. I flew in from Uruguay and was a little confused on exit signage to find my ride. I can blame it on the holiday rush I guess. Yet, thankfully I just met my ride outside on the Main Street, since again it's a smaller more intimate airport so no crazy traffic, and was on my way. Honestly it's more in the city which helps yet for big international flights the main airport is your best bet. If you also want to beat the crazy arrival rush just have your rider meet you on the Main Street. Well unless you have a ton of luggage then it's up to you. Their original itinerary had us ascending to 4,300 meters at the Tatio Geysers after only 30 hours of acclimation, far below the recommended minimum of 48 hours. When we missed a flight and informed them well in advance, they failed to warn us that our acclimation time would now be reduced even further--to just 18 hours. As a direct result, both my partner and I suffered severe altitude sickness, including crippling headaches, nausea, shortness of breath, and concussion-like symptoms that lasted for five days--at times leaving us unable to read or even stand properly. When we raised our concerns, the company blamed us instead of taking responsibility for their poor planning. They refused to issue any refund, despite their negligence directly putting our health at risk. Beyond this, the company displayed gross incompetence throughout the trip, including: --Failing to provide bilingual drivers, despite us paying for them. --Double-booking our hotels, leaving us stranded. --A so-called 24-hour emergency line that went unanswered--and when someone did pick up, they were unable to communicate in English as advertised. (See attached photos.) This company is reckless, unprofessional, and unsafe. They care more about taking your money than delivering a competent, let alone safe, experience. Avoid them at all costs.
