Thank you Robert for DJ'ing my wedding on 09/08/23 at DoubleTree in Claremont! I've never booked a DJ so I did my research and reached out to several DJs including First Class DJs. From the very first conversation, Robert was friendly and knowledgeable. We decided to meet with him first before booking and he made both my then fiance & I feel so much better about the wedding timeline because Robert walked us through the whole process. He was so communicative throughout everything and even coordinated with my other vendors for the timeline. I absolutely recommend him, it made the day go smoothly and he brought such a great energy to the day! I wouldn't look further than First Class DJ and would definitely book him again if I have a future event. read more

The name first class doesn't fail it's name. This is a perfect name to explain our experience with first class Dj, it was nothing but first class in every step of the way. From meeting Robert Arevalo and the attention to detail. I didn't think booking a DJ was so hard, especially when you are committed to having the best event. Luckily I met Robert First Class DJ and he handled all entertainment and WOW! What a first class experience from even as detailed to the lights, music selection, and presentation. He's so professional showing up in a suite and he kind of looks like a Latino GEORGE CLOONY! Thank you First Class For making this event a memorable event for our family read more

We were so grateful to have had Robert as our emcee/DJ for our wedding celebration this past month! Robert's professionalism and positive energy was clear from our initial meeting-- he was cheerful and accommodating to our preferences and also provided helpful suggestions that were compatible with the party size and the venue space. He actively involved us in the music choices and organization of the night, truly allowing us to feel like the night was the best that we could imagine! Our reception was at Luminarias restaurant in Monterey Park. Throughout the celebration, Robert helped build energy throughout the night while also creating such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. He provided uplighting throughout the space that contributed to the energy of the night. During and after our wedding, many of our guests expressed high praise specifically toward Robert's wonderful music set and emcee skills. Many friends and family members who normally are fairly reluctant were pulled onto the dance floor by Robert's incredible atmosphere. He kept the celebration flowing smoothly from one segment of the reception to the next. He was instrumental to such a beautiful night of celebration! We cannot recommend his services enough and would love to have him host our next event! read more

I truly can't say enough good things about Robert and his team! First Class DJs has been our go-to for major family events over the years, and most recently my own wedding. Robert was very communicative throughout the whole process and very invested in making sure every detail was perfect. From ensuring the vibe for each part of the night was on-point to creating a timeline of events, everything was seamless. To top it off, Robert went the extra mile and helped us really bring our vision to life with beautiful projection lighting (see photo). He had our guests out of their seats dancing the whole night, playing a wide variety of music, and transformed our venue in a way that exceeded my expectations! Professional from beginning to end - these guys are the real deal. Our guests had such a great time and are literally STILL raving about our music and mc. First Class DJs - Projections by First Class DJs - the perfect touch for our wedding! - DJs Near Me

Robert is an ANGEL! He was the best decision in all my wedding planning. He was recommended by my venue and when I contacted him he was out of town, he was so sweet in returning my phone call and we had a 30 min conversation on what I needed from a DJ. From start to finish he was amazing to work with, we booked him to be DJ, MC, and part coordinator. (Plus he did our lighting and gobo too!) We knew we were in great hands. Robert and his 2nd DJ both dressed up for the wedding which I thought was a really cool touch. He kept our wedding timeline in check, helped my photographer stage great pictures, kept the crowd hype and dancing and he's just a fun man all around! You'll have zero regret booking Robert and his team. Thank you guys! read more

If you have a huge special even happening and your searching not only for a Dj but for that extra help to feel prepared and organized for that special day, don't look any further. First class Dj (Robert) is not a basic Dj. He goes above and beyond for his clients. I chose First class Dj since he was recommended by my hall. But I wasn't satisfied with only one recommendation, especially since I was organizing my big day, my wedding. So I searched for some reviews and they were all great feedback. So I gave him a call and he responded right away (that's very important to me especially during wedding planning-those who are planning a wedding should understand haha). Aside from Robert (First Class Dj) being so energetic and fun, he also makes you feel like family/friend that you could count on during the planning process of your special event. He did a schedule for my wedding day where he made use of every minute of my wedding day. From the ceremony to the end of the party. He is so organized, responds quickly and keeps in touch to see how things are going. The day of the wedding he dresses nice, so don't expect to have a beautiful elegant wedding with a Dj with a plane T-shirt and shorts haha (trust me it makes a difference when captured in your pictures). So aside from being my awesome Dj, he was a host and kept the wedding energy fun. He partners up with the photographer/video/minister and other professionals who you hire for your day to make sure everyone is in the same page. He also gives them a print out of the schedule to DOUBLE make sure everyone is in the same page with what's happening when and where. That there made me feel so much at ease. Anything else...? Hmmm he's super cool! Family guy. He's married, so he understands love (for those getting married) he understand what you deal with during the wedding planning. He is a professional First class Dj (nothing basic here). Super humble, loving and cool Dj. I didn't find a picture of us from my wedding but I have this one to share. He was also the Dj for my friends wedding and he passed by and took a picture with my husband and I. Here's the clean cut First Class Dj! Thank you Robert!!!! read more

I hired Robert / First Class DJ's for a Quinceanera last month at Luminarias in Monterey Park. The reason I went with him was precisely due to the good reviews and his accessibility when I called him with many questions. He put my worries at ease. Leading up to the event, Robert's professionalism and collaboration was beyond expectations. The evening of the event was spectacular. He played all the songs we requested, and most importantly he was the perfect Emcee and kept the evening moving on schedule. His interaction with our guests was seamless. We did the lights and dual screens with gobo packagae along with the cold sparkles - talk about razzle dazzle, that was a nice touch. Everyone enjoyed his presence. He helped make that evening very memorable. I need to come up with an excuse just to hire him again. Robert even cut his vaca short by one day to come back on time to DJ the event! For anyone reading this review do not hesitate to contact him. read more

We knew from the moment we talk to Robert and his team that they were the DJ for us. They worked with us to make sure that our day was just as we had imagined it and did not skip one detail. They went above and beyond with everything from the way we wanted to light but the grand ball room to the way the DJ stand should go. They were on top of everything and even made us consider things we never would have. They showed up early and had everything set up ahead of time and on our wedding day when we were being pulled in 100 different ways it was assuring to know that Robert and his team had everything under control and that was one thing we didn't have to worry about. They made sure they had every song we wanted and even set up the music for the ceremony. I know our day wouldn't have been what it was if it wasn't for Robert and his team and I am eternally great full for everything they did and the attention to detail. Our dance floor was not empty for one minute and I'm not even exaggerating. We still are getting compliments on how good the music was and it's been a year. You definitely won't be sorry if you choose to go with First Class DJs they definitely go above and beyond and are determined to make your event something people will talk about for a long time after. read more

Having First Class DJs was the best decision for our wedding! Robert and his team are amazing at what they do. When we first met with Robert, he helped reassure my husband and I that our special day will go exactly as we planned. During our meeting he sampled tons of music, asked what we like to listen to, and aside from doing a playlist, he also assisted us in finding songs for special moments throughout the night. (Bouquet & garter toss, cake cutting, etc.) He helped us write out a timeline of our evening, giving us different options to make sure our wedding would go as smooth as possible. When my husband and I left our meeting, we knew choosing First Class DJs was the best choice. When the day finally came, everything went just as we had planned out. The DJ played great music that kept our guest dancing all night! But one of the best parts of hiring this excellent team, is having an amazing emcee. Robert is great at what he does, he has excellent emcee skills, knows how to hype up the crowd, and interacted with our guest. Thank you First Class DJs for your amazing work and being a part of our special day! read more
