Five stars and then some!…read more I cannot say enough good things about Heat Shield Window Tinting in Cornelius and its owner, VJ! I recently stopped in to discuss window tint and a ceramic coating for my new 2026 Ford F-150 PowerBoost. From our first conversation, VJ took the time to explain the entire process, answer my questions, and show me imperfections in the factory paint. I was surprised by how much paint correction even a brand-new vehicle could benefit from. I dropped off my truck a few days later feeling confident it was in expert hands. When VJ called to tell me it was ready, I was excited to see the results, but I was not prepared for just how incredible it would look! My truck is Avalanche, a very light gray that almost looks white. When I walked up to it, I could see my reflection in the paint! The finish looked like a mirror. It was the kind of shine I have always wanted on a new vehicle. The window tint was installed beautifully, with no bubbles and a clean, flawless appearance. VJ even took the extra time to install my window vent shades and WeatherTech hood protector. That extra effort meant a lot to me. Thank you, VJ, for going above and beyond! The attention to detail, friendly service, and pride VJ takes in his work made this an outstanding experience. I could not be happier with how my truck turned out, and I found the pricing very affordable for the quality of work. If you need window tint or have been considering a ceramic coating, I highly recommend Heat Shield Window Tinting in Cornelius! Tell VJ that Dan from Mooresville sent you!

If you're looking for a quick turnaround without sacrificing quality, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend. -K

I called and they reassured me that they would handle everything with the insurance company and not to worry. They kept me updated on the progress of my car and even let me know about a back order issue with my headlight. I got my car back and I swear it looks better than it did before the accident. The team at Desired Image did such an amazing job at making sure everything looked absolutely perfect on my car. My brother saw my car the following day and was throughly impressed. He used to work inspect cars for damages and he said you couldn't even tell it had been in an accident and he saw the car right after I had the accident so he saw how bad it was in person. They found a lot more stuff that needed repair than the insurance company did which I truly appreciate. I would recommend this shop to any and everyone that asks!
