Currently, they are moving to their new location at 130 Pitt street, and I had the opportunity to take my daughter there because she won a contest to have her hair and makeup done for her prom. The setting looks very promising, with sleek, new furniture, sliding mirrors along either side of the establishment, and a nice trendy brick interior (just like a loft, except on the ground floor.) Bathrooms were good, floor space is large and airy, and there will be a lot of stations, which means more ability to get an appointment in. They did a great job on my daughter's hair, which is very very long, curly, and thick. They essentially did a blowout, followed by a coiled curl hairdo, which was then put into a half-up, half-down formal style. It was feminine and in style, and it held very well -- from early morning, when it was done, until the middle of the night, when she came home. The makeup job was great as well, done by a woman who has MAC training and experience. My daughter is a woman of color, and a good measure of a makeup artist is whether or not they can match foundation skintones to people who aren't white or who have unusual undertones. She hand-mixed foundations and ended up with a perfect match. It's the little things like this which can really make or break a makeup artist. I recommend this place. The staff was very personable and skilled, and the place is going to end up very nice once all the construction is finished.

My curls are so happy, and my hair doesn't dry in a triangle anymore. I've seen Amy's work with straight hair, styles, makeup, and hair color, too. She does great work. The rest of the spa personnel were very friendly. Oasis is very easy to find, in the heart of Cornwall, and is close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants.

Ashley had done a great job with my daughters hair to just cleaned up the ends, as I requested (both myself & daughter were happy with her work). Anastasia did my sons hair. I asked if at all possible if we could do a fade. I knew it may be a bit of a challenge (my son is not quite yet 4 & usually pretty squirmy in the chair) but she was very kind & patient with him & ensured I was happy with her work; he looks so handsome!
