THE GOOD: Kerry and his apprentice, Dylan who work in the shop are outstanding fellows who are exceptional at their craft with a high attention to detail. I am very pleased with their work on my VW Vanagon! THE BAD: The owner Cal, has a shady process. He gave me a quote verbally, then when its time to pay, he added 35% to my bill for materials. He wouldn't give a written quote and he neglects to mention anytime during the 2 weeks he had my van the material charge or that the cost could increase anywhere near that much more. This is customer deception and massively unethical at best. In the end I had to pay the new price or Cal would hold my vehicle hostage. Obtain everything in writing and don't pay a dime more than what you've signed off for. Better yet avoid this guy. There are a lot of other good shops. This is the only shop in my life time where an employee (Cal) called my vehicle " a piece of sh*t! Again their work is fantastic, but the owner's business practices are dubious. read more
