On his first day she sent me a photo of him when I asked how he was doing. I think that's awesome. She accepts ELC and she offers free VPK For 4 year olds. My baby's first day she had him tracing letters. Each month they have a "letter of the month". The curriculum Mother Dixon has put in place for her kids are always a step above average. She's there every morning I drop him off. My child has been showing such an independence since starting school here. In the morning Mother Dixon is playing Gospel Music. She has scriptures around the building and everything has a label on it. She provides breakfast lunch and 2 snack times a day for the kids. I love everything about Precious Little Royal Angels!

What a great daycare that we were blessed to find! The hours are from 6a-6p. Ms. Dixon (Mother…read moreDixon) is the owner and she is there daily. I love that this isn't a corporate run facility. She has had this business over 10 years so her consistency, knowledge and experience made me comfortable in taking my son there. I was concerned about his transition to a new daycare but he did well even on the first day! He loves going there and doesn't even think about me in the mornings because he is so ready to greet her. He is almost two and is thriving very well. He has his own basket with all of his necessities. The area is neat and clean. There is a main room and several rooms that are designated for children of different age groups. There is definitely a family feel and that is important in child care. Many of the items around the facility are labeled such as "microwave", "window", "television" and I thought that was a nice touch. Oftentimes, light gospel music can be heard playing or common nursery rhymes. My son comes home singing songs he's learned in school. They even sent me a picture one day of him tracing letters at 1 year old. The pricing is fair and Ms. Dixon will work with you even if you just need part time care. Give her a call.

I recently attended a Yelp event here so I got the opportunity to have a brief but thorough tour of…read morethe facility and though the interaction was short-lived, I came away extremely impressed. According to Sabrina, the Director of Community, Domi Station is an incubator for startup companies. Domi provides individuals with a place to come, "hatch" and nurture their business ideas. It also gives people who work from home or freelance entrepreneurs an opportunity to have an established location to complete their daily tasks. Going stir crazy operating out of your residence? Then Domi Station is the place for you. The compound includes conference rooms, private offices, meeting areas and mail boxes for those who may need a physical address for their start up as opposed to a P.O. Box. You do have to purchase a membership to utilize their amenities but they allow you to buy based on your needs so you can combine different features according to your specific business requirements. One of the best options Sabrina informed us of is that their memberships are month-to-month. I'd think that flexibility is quite desirable because let's be honest.........no one likes contracts but in a lot of cases, they're necessary evils. Well, Domi Station eliminates that problem. I came away fascinated at the environment and options Domi Station offers. If you're somebody or knows someone contemplating starting up a business, I strongly recommend giving Domi Station a try.

Fantastic, caring, and supportive staff…read more Over the past few years, our two children have attended Golden Book, and their professionalism and genuine care is some of the best I have ever seen in care facility. Regardless of age, the curriculum has proven to be engaging, and I know my children are more than prepared to tackle their first year of grade school. Mr. Roman, the center owner, is pro-active and leaves no doubt his priority is the well-being of the kids. Ms. Brittany is the de facto liaison who has always been there to keep the Golden Book legacy going, as well as taking time to share updates (both good and not so good) about the kids to parents, but always with a smile and infinite optimism. Ms. Tonya's VPK program speaks for itself. My son is counting in multiples, able to remember full songs, write letters and full words and small sentences, and read at a 1st grade level. She pushes her students to unlock their potential, while at the same time having fun. The grounds looked aged, but do not let that fool you. The Pre-school is very established and has been there for decades. The inside is immaculately clean, and the play area is very large allowing for all the children to play at the same time and not just in groups. It is/was sad that our time at Golden Book Pre-School has drawn to a close, but anyone that lives in the Buck Lake area, or area in and around the intersection of Capital Circle and Mahan that needs care services to strongly consider Golden Book Pre-School. They are moderately priced compared to other centers in the area, but the quality and care, at least to us, won us over year after year.

After having such wonderful experience with them, I decided to ask if it was possible for them to help me find a regular nanny. At the time one of their sitters had the exact availability I was looking for. They arranged for us to meet her and for her to meet our daughter, and she started the following week and has been working with us for 3 months now. Never really thought we could afford something like this but the rates are very affordable and the extra free time allows both my wife and I to get more work done as well. Most importantly is that our daughter absolutely loves her!
