I am not young and I'm not old and of the youngest there. So the rock and roll vibe? No. It's genuine , worship. The leader breaks out into spontaneous prayer and worship and it's not a rock concert. Just had to clear that up ... Next to content and theology. I come from Sacramento , I moved to walnut grove. I drove to sac every week for church (Calvary chapel, church of Christ) and missed one week and decided to come here. I NEVER LEFT.... My fav pastors are Paul washer , David Wilkerson , and Charles Lawson... so I know when a pastor is preaching the unadulterated word of God. They do here. The pastor is on fire , lead by the spirit of God , and he prays for his congregation... there are old and young , and we are all in the same body. We are small and powerful by the living God. Every Sunday is spent IN THE WORD and the messages are powerful. Being so sensitive to false teaching , prosperity gospel, and sugar coated garbage (false gospels) I was on high alert our first week. Needless to say, this is my church, the Holy Spirit is there and Jesus is Lord. Thank you God for re:church. Come one come all, come as you are , there is room at the cross and in the seats of our church.

He and his wife truly feel like a power couple, positioned well to help this church continue making an impact in the community. The events surrounding the church's 40th anniversary celebration were nothing short of fantastic. The decorations, presentations, music, and overall fellowship created an atmosphere that was both welcoming and meaningful. You could feel the care and intentionality behind every detail, and the social interactions felt natural, warm, and uplifting. I'm honestly excited to see where this church is headed under new leadership and renewed momentum. If you're looking for a place to engage in community or grow in your faith in Jesus Christ of the Bible, I recommend checking them out to see if it's a good fit for you. We were immediately directed to a serving line of Korean dishes staffed by church members. Excellent! At 6 PM the hall was opened and a packed house viewed a short video highlighting Korean Iconic items. The Mistress of Ceremonies then recognized VIP dignitaries from the Korean and local community. Korean war contributions of Veterans and attending veterans were then honored. The presentation then moved into a section with Christian Rock, JC Mens Choir, Women's Choir with cellist accompaniment and combined choirs. After a brief intermission the event moved into cultural drumming, k-pop, dance and martial arts demonstrations that need to be seen to be appreciated. Just spectacular on all levels. How all of this was packed into just under 3 hours amazes me. A wonderful evening of entertainment and information concluded with a traditional Korean anthem, Arirang. Congrats to the entire cast and crew.
