I found the program to be very helpful to deal with hurts, hang ups and habits. The leadership of this program is outstanding. Based on the leadership or CR I decided to give the church a try. Immediately I was greeted by people who were so welcoming, introduced themselves asked about me. I knew during the first service that this is where I belong. They offer classes, bible studies, retreats. This church makes it easy to get plugged in and I have never experienced this before. The pastor is very knowledgeable about the Bible, intelligent, welcoming and he makes a point of meeting newcomers and visitors. I have learned so much in church because he breaks down the information, makes it understandable and relatable. Grace church is a God Serving, God loving family. Sunday service is at 10:00 am. If you are looking for a church I would highly recommend Grace Church. (Corner of Waterman road and Dino dr. Next to Mel's Dogs)

They all have music; some are amazing, some not so much, again a very subjective thing. All of them have people; and this is where Grace shines. We've been to numerous churches over the past 50+ years, but, until we came to Grace Church about 3 years ago, we never have found a church so warm and welcoming as Grace. If you are looking for a place where you can find the warmth of the love of the Body of Christ, check us out.

I will just say as soon as I left it seemed I didn't make much of a dint after all, as most people here stopped replying to me who I considered friends. Not that we fell out of touch. I mean actually just stopped communicating with me because I moved away and apparently I wasn't super important to them after all. I won't be more specific than that. What I will say is consider what kind of crowds the sermons draw at any church. That will be the fruit. If they are very social-media friendly for example, the attendants will reflect that. Since I am not keen on being a Christian influencer or gaining followers, I guess it was inevitable it would be time to leave at some point. Just my experience. Some churches are there for you to grow out of eventually and that is OK too, everyone starts their walk somewhere. But I do not see a whole lot of actual paper Bibles in the audience to put it shortly.

They set up at the Cosumnes Oaks High School every Sunday and have members who are friendly and easy to get to know. Low pressure for those who want to visit just to see if they can make a connection. The Pastor was on staff at the larger warehouse for many years before making the decision to start up in Elk Grove, and it appears that was a wonderful choice. He is very friendly, and is a down to earth type of fellow with no airs about him. It's easy to enjoy his sermons, they seem to hit right on target for whatever is happening in our lives, and he has a good sense of humor. The music is good, and they have a great Sunday School for the kids and a nice sense of fellowship for adults. Would recommend trying it out.... Service at 10am every Sunday.

My mother in law attends this church and suggested me to keep it in mind. She told me she would have the pastor call me and he did just that on that same day. After talking to pastor Graves, I agreed to have my son's viewing and service there. Everyone at the church was on board and immediately started asking me what i needed, they even offered to make finger foods for the reception. The day of the Viewing and service everything turned out so beautiful and peaceful. Pastor Graves went above and beyond to make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. The ladies from the church were kind enough to set up the tables and chairs, and even set up the food, desserts, drink station. All we had to do was bring our stuff to make it personal. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me during this horrible time.
