They actually discovered that my employer had accidentally recorded my birthday incorrectly, which was why they couldn't initially find my insurance. They were awesome and printed out my insurance info for me as well and services were then covered (yay!) and I then knew what I needed to do to fix my insurance issues. The wait to be seen was very short and the doctor and nurses were friendly and personable, and wrote a note for me for my work in case I needed time off (I did!) They called in my prescriptions and I was home again to rest within an hour. I would definitely return. Thank you Foothill Urgent Care!

The next day I returned for help, but was told there was nothing more they could do and was referred to an outside laboratory for a simple CBC blood test. I have never had problems with blood draws before. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and I did not receive the service I came for.

I came to this urgent care when I sliced my fingertip and…read moreleft with damage to my finger which cost me thousands of dollars and multiple additional dr's visits to repair. When I arrived, the nurse submerged my wound in pure iodine then left the room, telling me to leave it in until she came back. It hurt so badly and she was gone for so long that I had to take it out. I called for help but was not heard. When she finally came back I had taken my hand out of the iodine and was bleeding into the sink. A dr came in and began using silver nitrate on a stick to seal the wound. I have since learned that this was wholly unnecessary. He kept doing it over and over again, even after I was crying and telling him I couldn't handle the pain again. During this time, another dr wandered in and started looking for things in a drawer. My finger was now charred black and swollen. The dr treating me then put dermaglue over the caustic chemical and I was advised not to wash it off for 7 days. This advice was incorrect. I was later told that I was supposed to wash it off the following day. When he was finally done, I asked the dr if I should go to the ER, as I suspected by this point that something had gone wrong. He kind of scoffed at me and said "unless they have a plastic surgeon there's no point. You're fine." The glue over the nitrate caused such severe pain that I ended up in the ER that night anyway. Following this, the silver nitrate under the glue caused an infection which required a procedure to remove the glue from my skin. by this point my nail had grown over some of the debris from the glue, and this caused repeat infections while I waited for a more extensive surgery to remove the nail itself. When I called San Feliz urgent care to ask that I, at minimum, do not pay for the appointment where this happened, I was argued with by the staff member. She went back and forth with me claiming that I could be lying about the advice given by doctors after my visit. She claimed she'd have a supervisor call me back and this never happened. My appointment was charged on an auto-pay, and they also charged my insurance the full cost of the visit. I feel in need of an advocate to help me navigate the situation further. This situation cost me days of work, 4 months of pain and uncertainty, and so much money. Please, please go anywhere else. I wish I had found a different urgent care that night.

After I went to the hospital for stomach pain and came in to review my cat scan, they were at a loss for what could've caused the pain. There was really no follow up or treatment plan suggested. I also recently called when I was super sick and asked if I could come in and get tested for strep and mono and they said they don't do that there and to go to an urgent care. I'm very confused by a doctor's office that doesn't have the basic tests available to diagnose illnesses - It seems like this would be an integral part of the job. The last thing Is that they told me they could do an in-house breast ultra sound with their technician because I had had some irregular results in the past and didn't want to go all the way to Beverly Hills to see my regular breast doctor. But, I never received the results from this. While the bedside manner is lovely, the actual execution of effective medicine is yet to be seen.

The staff was very attentive and worked with me while they verified that my insurance was in-network, and was taken back immediately once that was all confirmed. NP Forat saw me and showed great concern over the medication I was taking. She showed genuine concern over the high dose I was on, and called my pharmacy back home to verify that was indeed the dose I was on. She also gave me new information that I did not know about this medication. She told me that she "had a responsibility to prescribe it" since I could start seizing without it. Great staff, great NP. I was very appreciative for the help.
