Great supply! I didn't get free delivery, went and picked it up. The wood is cut so well it stacks easily. Very few ones shaped like an exploding octopus. I got a "scoop" for $185. FILLED my 8' bed truck. Mrs. Yelper will have a fire whenever she pleases. read more

Need wood? CALL LARRY! We packed the back of our truck with chopped wood for 35 bucks! I'm so happy we found this place :) They offer chopped wood YEAR ROUND (not seasonal woot woot). Last minute pickup of firewood couldn't have gone better. I was afraid I wouldn't find any seasoned wood available, but Larry had lots of it! The wood is uniformly cut, which made stacking a piece of cake. The price was quite reasonable for 1/4 cord. (There's a bit more stacked in my garage and home.) I'll use him again in the future. read more

PROS: - Probably the cheapest place to get firewood. - Lots of wood for the price. - You get hard and soft wood. CONS: - Larry left us hanging for a bit. Promised to be at the location, but ended being a couple hours late. FINAL THOUGHTS: - If you need firewood on the way to a campsite, and this place is on the way, definitely pick up from Larry. Just make sure he's gonna be there when you pick up. PRO-TIP: - Unless you got a pickup truck, make sure to pick up a tarp or moving blanket so you don't dirty up the interior of your car or SUV. read more

Larry was great! Communication is excellent. I placed our order for a cord of wood and it was delivered within a week. We could have had it even sooner then that but the timing didn't work out quite right. The wood that was delivered is perfect. The logs are so big that we even had to cut a few of them. The "hardwood" that was delivered was eucalyptus and the logs burn for so long!! He includes enough starter wood to get a good fire going. We will for sure be using Larry again! read more

Worth every penny!!! Great, solid seasoned wood. No junk or odd shaped pieces. Hard seasoned wood. Cut to 16 inches and stacks beautifully. Stacked on the truck so you can see that you get what you pay for. Delivered, stacked, cleaned up! Awesome service and Larry is great! read more

I was looking for older, slightly-decomposed Firewood, not to burn, but to bury. I was creating my new vegetable garden with raised metal beds, and I was planning on setting them up "hugelkultur-style". The firewood was going to be used as the bottom layer in my beds. (Google "hugelkultur" if you want to know more.) It turned out that Larry had what I was looking for, and he offered me the full-cord I needed, delivered to OC at a good price. I gave him cash when he arrived, but I accidentally overpaid him $100, which he brought to my attention immediately. (Wow!) Sadly, my money does not yet grow on trees, so I was deeply grateful for his honesty. So, hell yes, I recommend this company highly. Call Larry first. You won't be sorry. read more

Keep a record of your texts with Larry. I have been buying from him since 2016. I had only the best to say in the past. This year I was ordering my 1/2 cord and told him that I didn't need it stacked. I noticed when I copied my last years text that the price was the same he just quoted me but last year I had requested to have him stack it. I pointed this out and got back a text saying he was canceling my order and good luck finding someone else. He stated it was a fair price because it included delivery (I thought that was free?!?) In 2016 we paid $150 for 1/2 cord. In 2017 we paid $210 but requested to have it stacked. I didn't mind paying the $60 increase because the labor involved stacking. Easy and accommodating. My family needed fire wood Christmas Eve and the owner was more than accommodating for us to pick up a wheel barrow full and the wood burned for hours only using a few pieces. Highly recommend if you need wood. read more

A++++ so I find this guy here on yelp and give him a call. Very friendly guy and very likable!! I go down to where the wood is and he lets me into the yard and there is wood wood wood everywhere!! He gives me a great price on a small amount of split wood for the beach! He has different types of wood depending on what you need it for. He gave a a wheelbarrow of mixed! In response to Monica. Last year the price for a 1/2 cord of our economy wood or "landscape" wood as I refer to it was $180 including the delivery. You chose to have us stack it at a price of $30 for a total of $210 delivered and stacked. This year we gave you our Premium Mixed Wood at the regular price of $210 delivered, but you wanted no eucalyptus in your load stating that you had a family member that was allergic to that particular type of wood, so in order for us to guarantee "as you requested" that there be no eucalyptus in your 1/2 cord of wood, we hand load the truck picking every piece of wood by hand to insure that you get no eucalyptus and still get a Premium load of wood, which by the way involve's more time and extra work that I didn't charge you for. You would be paying the $210 price (same as last year) for the same amount work and you would be getting our best wood. The prices on our web site are starting prices only and are correct for our economy wood, the cost does go up for our premium woods. This is one instance of why I don't like text there is no substitute for good old fashion conversation. We work very hard to provide great customer service and great firewood I'm sorry that this didn't work out better for both of us. There is nothing that a phone call can't resolve. Larry read more
