Came here with a friend on vacation on a whim via seeing the sign on the highway. The knowledgable guy in the clubhouse pointed us to the driving range when we asked if they had one, offered us clubs to borrow, and sold us a few brewskies. Boy, was it a nice day. Everyone at the course is super relaxed and the good old "alaskan charm" which I've come to love still applies on the course. From stories from locals, to being given incredibly helpful tips on the range from another golfer, I'm super glad I stopped in here to try my hand, and the range is great, too! Note - this is alaska, and there's only three months that grasses grow up here. Therefore, patchy grass, or grass at all, is impressive, and this golf course had it almost completely green everywhere to be seen. I'm impressed. read more
