Many shops would just do the stuff I checked the boxes for "weatherize" my vehicle (and I don't even know what that includes). :) The mechanic called me and assess my vehicle, and recommended me to fix a few things; others for a future date. Other shops would have done everything, even it didn't need to. Myers' mechanics don't do that & scam $. They are HONEST.

Ten minutes left in my two hour window and they come to tell me they cannot align the car as I have a rear wheel bearing out and a ball joint that is going to "fail immediately." I would have been alarmed except that I had the ball joint replaced just two months prior with a reciept for the work done and clear, clean, new parts visible, "no you can't go out to the bay to look, too dangerous." I was at this shop forever, I've got three guys walking through the waiting room "consulting the boss," about my dangerous issues and what should we tell the customer? I told them put it all back together, I'm leaving. He charged me $26. I do not trust this shop, idiots and liars working the bays and I hope an embarrassed boss who got caught in his own bullshit. Don't ask me to review if you don't want the truth.

My Toyota Tundra needed a new AC evaporator coil, which is located in the dash. I started the job…read moremyself but soon realized it was too much for me, so I took it to Expert Auto on 37th and Woodlawn in Wichita. I had removed some cosmetic parts from the dash like the glove compartment side panels and kick panels, but I never touched the electrical components. When I brought the truck in, everything was working fine. Expert Auto agreed to finish the job and put everything back together. After spending over $2,300, I picked it up three days later only to find the digital clock and radio didn't work, and the AC wouldn't power on until you drove for about two minutes. When I voiced my concerns, I was told they couldn't confirm everything worked beforehand and that the AC delay was due to the battery being disconnected for several days, insisting the "computer" would catch up and fix itself. Two weeks later, the problem persisted and the AC went out completely. I took it back, and after another inspection, they said they didn't know what was wrong and advised me to take it to a wiring shop. After paying $250 for a wiring diagnosis, I was told the dash needed to be taken apart again--at a cost of over $4,500 with no guarantee of a fix. When I called Expert Auto again, Tim told me there was nothing they could or would do. Now, on a fixed income, I'm left with no AC or heat going into winter, unable to afford repairs, and Expert Auto refuses to make it right. Absolutely horrible service--save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

However, it's true, he's an outlaw in the automotive world simply because he's not like any other shop or mechanic whose goal it is to overcharge and under service. Kevin can't stand the way automotive shops double or triple the price of parts and charge outrageous amounts for work to be done. While I was quoted anywhere from $1500-$900 by multiple other shops, Kevin helped me my own brand new parts for half the cost, he came to my home and made the repairs in less than three hours for a fair and sensible hourly rate. He sincerely wants to help get your repairs done at a reasonable cost. I'm very pleased that I chose Kevin for my automotive repairs, knowing that he saved me both time and money, and knowing that my costs went directly to an honest and hard-working person. No doubt I will be reaching out to Kevin again for all of my future automotive service needs.

The guy who was going to repair the key ignition, called me if I would like to get a used part instead of a new one and I totally agreed because the cost was much less than the new one. The mechanics were excellent at that time. However, something happened a few years ago as the people changed. Prices went up quickly and it made me feel the recent change of employees was the issue. The last time I went there, I had an oil leak - after the oil change. I told them about it, had to take it back and they said it was not an oil leak and all they had to do was tighten up the lid. However, when I took my car to another auto shop to clean the headlights, they found an oil leak. They fixed it and did it the right way. This particular incident made it clear to me that Yost had no intention of fixing my vehicle correctly. That made me very angry as I spent thousands of dollars in the past. I have stopped going there. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

2025 Have been using…read moreTracy's for a few years now and have always had a good experience. Mostly oil changes but also brake replacements. They are great about communication and I never feel pressured, which I really appreciate. Often they are able to give me a ride to work if I can wait for a little spell. That's also very nice:) Happy to continue seeing them for all my auto needs lol

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE…read more I took my car to this Midas FOUR TIMES and spent almost $2,000 while they kept replacing parts that never fixed the original issue. Some of the parts/work they installed even had to be redone because what they installed was bad. After all of that, I got my car back and it broke down again less than 2 miles from the shop. It turned out the actual problem was ONE SIMPLE PART that they somehow failed to diagnose after multiple visits, towing my car, and charging me for all kinds of other repairs. When I called Kyle and asked for a refund after everything they put me through, he refused. I was also talked to like a child instead of a customer who had already paid them thousands of dollars and given them multiple chances to fix the car correctly. They took my money, replaced parts that did not solve the problem, had me come back FOUR TIMES, and still never fixed what I originally brought the car in for. Save your money and take your car somewhere else. It's apparent that other higher-rated shops are aware of Kyle, it's unfortunate how it is known for situations like this with customers' vehicles. After what happened to me personally, that was not surprising to hear.
