I made an appointment the night before and arrived an hour or so early ! They were well staffed . They have the cleanest restroom I've ever seen in an auto shop! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasant experience. They also price match if you can prove it. I scheduled an appointment for an inspection and an oil change and dropped my vehicle off at 11:00 a.m. At 5:30 p.m., just before closing, I called to ask about the status of my vehicle and was informed for the first time that no work had been done because "there were a lot of cars." If the appointment could not be honored, I should have been notified earlier so I could make other arrangements. Instead, I lost an entire day and incurred multiple Uber expenses unnecessarily. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I noticed it had been moved, even though no services were performed. No explanation was provided. After I got home, I discovered the store's cordless phone on the floor of my car. I later noticed that my retractable rear cargo cover was missing, and I am now concerned that other items may also be missing. This experience raises serious concerns about scheduling practices, communication, and vehicle security while cars are in the shop's possession. This occurred at 2565 Crain Hwy, Waldorf, MD 20601. Good morning Mr. Miles, My name is Jonathan Miller and we have spoken on the phone over the last few weeks in regard to items being stolen from my vehicle while being serviced at your location. The first occurrence was in December; a bottle of men's cologne, and all the change from my coin tray where missing. When reported you told me via telephone to file a police report. When I dropped off my vehicle on 1/29/23, to get looked at again for an existing issue. I purposely left approximately $3 broken into various currency in my vehicles coin tray. When I arrived on 2/7/23 to pick up my vehicle, I noticed that all my items in my middle console had been taken out and in the seats, along with the change that I had placed in the coin tray gone. My phone charger was stolen along with a pair of expensive winter gloves, and the money. Below are pictures of the coin tray taken in 1/29 before dropping off vehicle, and pickup on 2/7/23. I also called the Sheriff's department and filed a report. Officer Gordon arrived first and gave event number #S230380627 ID 755 Please advise on next steps, to file a report and obtain recompense for stolen items. They didn't hire me because their corporate is in Chicago and doesn't realize Delta 8 thc is legal in this state over the counter. Testing positive for thc should not be a deal breaker for employment, it's legal now people. Insurance companies need to stop this prejudice. What people do outside the workplace that doesn't break laws should not be of any concern to an employer. read more

Went to this firestone for work on my brakes and the people here are so kind. They worked everything out so I could get the best deal and was even kind enough to stay a little longer because of a discrepancy with the time they closed. If you plan on going on a Sunday their hours are 8AM-4PM. I checked it once and it said 7AM-5PM which got my day quite mixed up but it is indeed 8-4PM. I sent my review on survey and I still have yet to hear anything so now I will leave my review on Google, Twitter, Instagram and any other platform there is so people know to BEWARE of this Firestone. On 10/3/22 my son took our car (the car we let him drive) to get two tires. He had a 2pm appt, but it was not until 6:15 that we learned that they would not be able to fix the car. The manager Philip, was nothing short of rude, and should not be a manager. My son was told they would not be able to finish his car until the next day because the stud had been cross threaded and what we thought was going to be $417 jumped to $700 something. Phillip swore they did not ruin the stud on the tire and stated that driving the car was a hazard. I called my husband on the phone and Philip was again RUDE to my husband. He would not let him finish his sentence and got so mad he walked away. Thank God for Harrison, who SHOULD be the manager. He was cool, calm and understanding. When my husband called BS on the cross threading of the stud Harrison asked if either of us was military and explain we could use that as a discount. Harrison went the extra mile of showing me a website to demonstrate that the price was industry standard. After Phillip walked away I continued to talk to Harrison and then the manager opened the window from the bay area to ask if I was leaving the car or not because he needed to leave and he also stated that he should have been gone by 5:00pm but he was still here. I told him he could leave and so he did. Initially, we decided to have them order the part and we were going to pay the money, but my husband was not settled so we had the car towed home so he could fix it and we not pay the extra money. The car gets home and my husband ordered studs from Amazon. The studs arrive the next day and he goes to fix it and TA-DA guess what, the studs nor the lung nuts where cross threaded. My husband was able to screw the lug nut on with his hand which Phillip swore he could not do. I called and spoke to Harrison and expressed how speechless I was. Knowing that the price was industry standard means NOTHING when the mechanic creates problems just to get extra money. Thank God my husband fixes cars because we would have been out of money that was NOT needed. In addition to the creating of a problem that was not real, for the manger to be as unprofessional and rude when the customer is trying to understand what happened is/was unacceptable. Harrison was not only patient, and kind, but took the time to explain until I was comfortable enough to almost pay the extra money. BEWARE of this Firestone. Not only because the management is rude, but also they create problems to get more money and if you do not know cars, you are at their mercy. We spent $50 for the tow, which in the grand scheme of things was cheap. Firestone also has no way for a customer to elevate any issue above the onsite management, which is also a problem. BUYER BEWARE. I took my car in for an alignment. I was told the ball joints were bad. Okay, it's got 150k on it. The rear shocks need to be replaced, they're really bad. I was told the cv boot (passenger) was CRACKED and weeping. Just put it on blocks and pulled the balls joints. Some wear but definitely not worn to the point, I was lead to believe. The shocks aren't that bad as well. Got to the cv axle boot, that's where I got angry. It had been sliced in a perfect circle. Sorry guys, axle boots don't break with a perfect sliced circle completely around the boot, cracks and holes sure. But it was clean and in a complete circle. Draw your own conclusions. I had dropped the driver's side and replaced the boot and axle before, i brought it to your shop. I checked the passenger side when I was working on it. That boot was whole and intact the day before I took it to your shop. That's why I refused to authorize any service on the vehicle over the phone. I took my Honda Si to get 4 new tires, and an oil change. We changed my mind about getting brakes and rotors and then called back to get those services added. We dropped my car off Friday at 8am and by 7pm they were still not FINISHED. One of my wheel locks were on "too tight" and they couldn't get the tire off and broke my wheel lock and they also did not have the part to get it off. So overnight my car stayed. And we were told they open at 7am so by 9 it (( should )) be done. 12NOON I find out my car had to be taken to HONDA for a 'favor' to see if they can get the lug nut off and they can't give me a time because they are asking for a favor from Honda. WTF ????? So all of Friday and most of Saturday my car is just sitting idle ????!!!!!!!!! Why not inform me FIRST that you are having difficulty getting the tire off and you guys do not have the part and see if I want to reschedule because of the inconvenience? Why not apologize that your BUSINESS doesn't have the proper tools to do a job if problems arise? Why not offer something just to show great customer service ???????? I had a tire replaced at the Waldorf location and found them very professional and customer service oriented. I dealt with Vida, who turned out to be the general manager. She was very courteous and spoke like she wanted to earn my business. A couple call backs later (on her part), after researching various tire options, she suggested I check with the original tire shop, to see if the tire was still under warranty. I stuck with them regardless. This place is a complete joke. As someone who literally has worked in a shop bigger than this one, I know it doesn't take a damn hour to look at a tire. Yea. I literally mean to look at a tire. Meanwhile my 8 month pregnant wife is miserable and is getting frustrated it's taking so long. The guy that that works up front, he's a shorter black guy with short twists in his hair, was completely rude to me and my wife. And on top of that, I asked if they offered military discount because I am a veteran and they told me no come to find out they do. According to the website, I know that they should. This lazy person didn't feel like doing his damn job or even bother finding out. I can promise you, Firestone will never get another cent of my money. I don't even care if something was under warranty. I'd rather spend money and get treated how a PAYING customer is supposed to be treated. The customer service here was just straight appalling. The Firestone in Waldorf next to the bowling alley is straight trash. If I could give this place negative stars I would. And after of two fucking hours of being here. Now they saying I have to wait another 2 hours till four o'clock. That means I'll of been here for four hours all because the guy in the front DIDNT check my wife in for her appointment that was at 1 OCLOCK. So other cars are getting serviced before my wife's. And I've been here since a little before 1. It's not the mechanics fault cause they didn't get the work order for car. It's the incompetence of the guy that works the front desk. Literally heard him say before walking out and getting into his minivan,"I can't even do this anymore." Right before he walked out and left. After nearly 10 years of NOT visiting Firestone, I was reminded why I take my business elsewhere. I dropped my vehicle off to have the brake pads and rotors replaced. Megan was accommodating by allowing me to pay over the phone for the repairs and leaving the car key locked in the vehicle since the person who was supposed to pay and pick up the key was involved a car accident on their way there. I picked up my car after hours and everything is intact, however I noticed my wheel lock key was missing. After searching through the entire vehicle it was nowhere to be found. I returned the following morning shortly after opening, traveling out of my way for work, to see if it could be located. Fortunately it was found fairly quickly. For the life of me, I cannot understand why the key wasn't placed back in the vehicle after the wheels were put back on. I tried to give them another chance. It's inconveniences like this, in addition to my horrible experience at this same location years ago, that will encourage me to never visit another Firestone location ever again. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go here for ANY maintenance to their vehicle - not even for something as simple as tires. read more

I love the work that firestone has done to my car over the years. And I love the fact that I have an account with them, so if I do not have the money today, then I know that I can pay installments. That being said, this is the 2nd time that I have had conversation with the clerk at the desk at the Waldorf, Md office on Crain Hwy., and to say RUDE is a word that was used both times, is being nice. I went in there to set up a oil change and he was not able to get me in when I walked in and the fact that he wanted me to leave my car and pick it up hours later...... when I told him I have no way to get home, he just looked at me like I had some kind of disease. Why couldn't he just give me a time to come back....... Now, I just called and told him that I had a engine code on my car and asked him if this something that can be fixed. He told me RUDELY again that if I had t code, then what does he need to do. Their evaluation will be $100 no matter, unless I have a written up evaluation. It is the way he spoke to me. Who likes to be talked to like he is the only person that knows the way to go ------ a take it or leave attitude. it is the feeling that I got. The Waldorf Firestone is a great vehicle maintenance establishment. I have been to this location two times in the last two weeks with two different vehicles and each visit has been pleasant. The professionalism and quality of work at this location is outstanding. During my first experience, I dealt with the GM, David Washington. It was about 7am on a workday and my wife realized we had a nail in the tire. Pressed for time and not anxious about spending money on a fairly new vehicle, we pulled into Firestone by accident. We were expecting Firestone to plug the tire and charge us, so we could keep it moving. However, David expressed that the position of the nail prevented the technician from just plugging the tire. If the nail punctured the tire, the tire would have to be replaced--$200! BLOWN to say the least. Long story short, David, and his team did not try to swindle us; they removed a nail that was barely a quarter inch long, checked the tire for any signs of a puncture and charged us a VERY reasonable fee! Regardless of my frustrated demeanor, David never lost his composure. This past week, I took my Tahoe to the same location, given the great experience the first time. This time I encountered the Service Manager, Mike Cook. I explained to Mike that my brakes were grinding. I dropped the vehicle off at about 8:30am; Mike called about 9am with a diagnosis and I requested all recommended services be completed. At about 2pm, I received a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I had a brake line flush along with the replacement of the front/rear brake pads and rotors, and two engine belts for a great price. I was offered all of the online deals applicable to my service needs without having to look for myself. I have dealt with many sketchy mechanic shops in the past. The Waldorf Firestone is by far the best experience. All staff members are courteous, responsive, and helpful. I would recommend this shop 100%! read more

Had a great experience at this Firestone. I noticed my tire was leaking air. I called around a few places to get an estimate on removing the nail but many places won't work on new cars with Tpms sensors. So I had to go to the dealer. Lindsay Lexus looked at my tire and says they would fix for 35 bucks. Fine. Later they came back and said your tire has a big split in the sidewall and you need a new tire. It will be 500 dollars for one tire. I told them they were crazy and left. I called a few places and none had my tire. I finally reached Vida at Firestone. She was out if the tire but she said she would call me back her warehouse had it. 30 minutes later she called me back and said she could have the tire for me in 1 week. I said ok and she ordered. I did not have to pay first or anything. She then called me back the next day and told me I had a performance tires she was having it shipped special and it would here in a day or two. She was very professional, courtesy and knew what she was talking about. 2 days later I arrived at Firestone at 7am and mike helped. He took care of my tire needs right away and was a pleasure to work with. The Firestone in Waldorf is my new go to spot for tires. I am a very happy customer, they even price matched an online competitor. This is how a business is run. This is customer service at its best. Maybe they are under new mgmt or something, but I never saw any of the bad customer service the other reviewers described. Great job firestone!!! read more

The first time here I got a simple oil change. The service was quick and I received a discount. The guys were also pleasant enough to deal with. Since I enjoyed my first experience, I came back for brake work. However, I never got the work done. The price quoted me was just way too high. So I left and I was able to find a place that gave me a much lower price for the same work. This last incident that makes me not wanna come back is based on work my mom got on her car. She came in to get a tire replaced and was told her battery was low yet she had just replaced her battery. And when she came to pick up her vehicle, her car was dead. She has had no issues until up the time she came to get her tire replaced. And now, it wont start and they cant figure out why. Wont be returning. read more

You will not see me at this Firestone again! I took my car there because I needed my tires rotated, balanced, and aligned. When I made the appointment, the receptionist informed me that it could take 90 minutes to 2 hours, so I was prepared to wait 2 hours for them to complete the work. They didn't take my car into the shop until an hour after my appointment time. Then, and hour an a half after that (2.5 hours total), the mechanic called me into the shop to tell me that they couldn't do any of the work because I needed 4 new tires. The mechanic told me "I don't know a whole lot about tires but they told me to look at this" (pointed to some part of the tire). The mechanic also told me that I needed new rear shocks. To top everything off, the other guy was not even there to give me an estimate. Two days later, I took my car to another auto repair shop who told me that my shocks were fine and I only needed to replace the two rear tires. So, not only had I waited two and a half hours for Firestone not to do the work, but they lied to me as well. Never again. read more

If I could actually give this location a negative four stars, I would. My family took our SUV here for services and the service was absolutely horrible. The service, which included, brakes, spark plugs, break fluid flush and an oil change along with a tire rotation that was never complete occurred on a Wednesday. We ended up staying here for over seven hours that day. After the fifth hour, I asked how much longer and the supervisor at the time was courteous but could never really give me an answer. Well, lets fast forward to Friday. On Friday, my caliper came off while I was on what is normally a busy road, preventing me from using my breaks; mind you this is right after I got my new breaks installed. This caused me to skid almost a quarter of a mile down the road forcing me to use my emergency break when it was safe to do so without causing an accident. I called Firestone to let them know that I was brining my SUV back and ask if they reimbursed for towing, the manager Jason said yes. The vehicle arrived at this location on Friday evening and I had to catch an Uber back to my house. Let's fast forward a few days because that is how long it took for any communication between me and this location. Well Tuesday, I finally called Firestone, and spoke with the manager who said my truck would be fixed today and they had to order a break caliper from the dealership. There was never any contact initiated from this store about the progress of my vehicle. That night, which was Tuesday, I picked up my vehicle and was instructed that I could come in tomorrow to complete the reimbursement paperwork. I have gone to Firestone in Waldorf repair shop several times. Jan 2014 I took my car and truck in for tire rotation, alignment and balancing service that fell under warranty. In addition, I had the oil change. Later I got a call from one of Firestone service assistance advising me that I needed new tires on the car. She refused to honor the warranty in having the work done on the car stating that it would be a waste of time because the tires were worn. OK, just do the oil change. Firestone completed the oil change on both vehicles. I later discovered while driving the truck during a snowy day, and using the windshield wiper cleaner that smeared across the windshield. Not realizing that oil was in the windshield wiper fluid, I thought that I needed new wipers. It was not until I drove the car on a rainy day, and after using the windshield wiper fluid, that I could see the oil on the windshield. I knew that Waldorf's Firestone repair sabotaged and endanger both me and my family by putting oil in the wiper fluid. Had it been only one vehicle with this problem, I would have thought that the oil in the wiper fluid was an accident, but because oil was in both the truck and the car wiper fluid I knew this was done intentionally. I do plan to bring criminal charges against this Firestone service station. read more
