If you're looking to get a simple oil change this may be the place for you. I spent over $2k in work done on my Yukon 2015 including a tune up. The female advisor was quite pleasant- It took all day for the mechanic to complete the tune up stating it was hard to get to a Spark plugs- Almost 2 months later, the engine light comes on with a code stating it was a misfire regarding the Spark plugs or wires- I bring it back to the location and advised them of the code during my 7am appointment. At 8am I was advised it might be some faulty plugs are wiring and it would be replaced- I had to ask the male advisor at 12pm what's the delay- He tells me the same thing the female said- 3pm I had to ask again and I'm told they are waiting on the parts- It's now after 4pm and I'm still sitting here- During the time I'm here-They had my front hood up and the back hatch open as well-Then even elevated my vehicle with both open- Just drop your car off here, you will wait all day if it's anything above a oil change and no one will update you as you wait- Waiting on a car for over 8 hours is crazy- And it's even more crazy when they don't do the job right the first time read more

Had my car aligned in January before going back to school but I noticed the car was still veering, didn't have much choice. But to leave it. Veering has gotten worse and after taking it into another place I was told the alignment was so bad that all 4 tires are damaged, the rear control is broken and will now cost $1300 to repair and that I was driving with the risk of a tire blowing out for some time. Not sure what Firestone even did with my car for what I paid. read more

This place sucks. The guy working the front desk, "Jay," is the least professional person I've ever come across. Their staff is not knowledgeable and they're unhelpful. I went there to get tires changed and they gave me an extremely hard time about putting the repair bill on my Firestone account. They insisted I pay immediately which didn't sound right to me. Then when I went to pick up my car, the battery was dead and they acted like they were so baffled by it. All they did was run a battery check and gave me an, "oops, that sucks" kind of response and then they ignored me after that. When I called AAA to tow my car, the AAA truck driver called Firestone to let them know he was coming in and they 100% denied ever taking care of my car, and that they had no idea about the car the AAA driver was asking about. They also refused to give me an estimate on repairs and they also refused to run diagnostics on my car. After AAA took my car, I called Midas, which was right down the road, and they took my car in immediately and ran the complete diagnostics check on the car. Avoid this place at all costs, they're trash. read more

There are few times where I'm more annoyed with customer service than I am right now, but the owner/ manager Josh from this location should learn to treat customers with respect. I was referred to his shop for tire care, from Firestone corporate. I had 4 tires I purchased 16,302 miles ago, and 2 of them are nearly worn out, despite 3 rotations, 3 alignments, and routine driving. I noted that the same model/make tire advertised with a 50,000 mile tread life. When I talked to him about the issue I was told that my tires have no warranty, and that nothing can be done. I was told that because the tires were not the size used at the factory, ( but the size it came with when I purchased it) that there is nothing he can do. I found his demeanor curt and Unaccommodating. While I accept ownership for having larger than recommended tires, I see no reason why this would vacate any specified or implied warranty. I did not go in there looking for an handout, but would have appreciated assistance in replacing the defective product. I would steer clear of Firestone, and unless you want a condescending lecture from a shop owner, steer clear of this shop. read more

This Firestone location has been very good to me over the years that I've taken my cars here! They will always honor coupon specials and do price matching if you have proof of price! I live here in the Stroudsburg area ! I needed two new tires today and they came up with a price better than another tire dealer gave me and gave me better tires to boot! I also got a lifetime alignment done for this car because I did the same for another car I still own and have no problems getting free alignments all over the country! I should have read the reviews before taking my car to this place... it has turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had. 1st I scheduled my appointment online When I showed up on the day and time the guy at the desk had the nastiest attitude and proceeded to tell me I did not have an appointment because the time I chose was not available? Correct me if I'm wrong but if the time was there for me to choose online how do I not have an appointment? Do to his demeanor I decided to leave. That should have been enough for me to stay away... unfortunately I did not and once again I went online and scheduled a new appointment.. now all my car needed was an oil change and a state inspection. I declined the inspection because one of my headlights was out and they wanted $60 to replace the bulb I was definitely not forking over $60 for a lightbulb. I proceeded to let them do the oil change again completely over priced... I usually take my car to the dealer and only pay $30 for my oil change well Firestone charged me $60 double the price, That's when I had enough. Within the week of my oil change I've had my bulb replace for $20 and my inspection performed for FREE at the dealership only to be told that my oil pan was left loose and I've been leaking oil for days. Thankfully Abellof Nissan rectified the issue at no cost to me! I now have oil stains in my driveway as well as my parking spot at work! Thanks for NOTHING FireStone. I don't even want to imagine what could have happened to my car if all the oil would have leaked out. read more

I have going to that store in Stroudsburg for a number of years I have never had a problem. If there are any issues with my car they call or tell you while you are waiting what the problem is. I am going back next week for an oil change, I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Giant rip off,,don't go there,, I bought the tires there along with a road hazard warranty made an appointment to have tires rotated and an alignment,,it took 2 hours. Do not buy any warranties they are a rip off I had a nail in the tire. They said they couldn't remove the nail because it was between the tread and they couldn't reach it. They simply didn't want to remove the tire from the rim. Offered a new tire at a prorated price. They said the new tire would be a different brand from the original. My auto mechanic fixed the tire. I will never go to Firestone again. read more

They refused to align my truck BC they said they didn't have the specs BC the tires are factory tires. Chevy told us that it was factory specs and needed nothing special. We told them this and they still refused. Took it up to jack Williams and they did it w no problem read more

Firestone Stroudsburg location is the next word after sucks. we bought our tires for 4 different cars and every time that we request to do a tire rotation they request us to make an appointment. This location said that work until 7:00 PM never go in there past 5:15 PM for tire rotation because they will never take you. My question to that location manager why in the held you have in front door walk in welcome..........Joshua as a customer of that location I suggest you to make some changes in that store. One of the reason we don't do oil change in there is for the long wait. I will never recommend that place for anything to friends or relative. We are stuck in there because my husband bought the life time warranty in the alignment for 3 out of the 4 cars we have. I'm very disappoint the smirk on the face of the from desk person. i think next time we have to purchase tires I will try another company. Horrible place to go hands down!!! First off I waited 4 hours just to have new tires installed after I was told over the phone it would only be around an hour and the manager even confirmed that upon my arrival at the shop. They then convinced me to get an alignment done after I informed the manager I just had one done a months ago and he informed me that vehicles should have an alignment done at least 4 times a year. WHAT!!! I was told that was BS too but I did it anyways because I was having new tires installed and I was informed that it wouldn't take long to do so in which stupid me believed them again. During the whole process they were coworkers fighting with each other and throwing things around in which one came into the showroom floor and starting bitching to his manager about it in front of costumers. Really? So after the job was done I drove down the road and noticed my steering wheel wasn't centered with the car when it went straight down the road and that it also pulled a little bit. I went to a gas station to check out the tire pressure to see if that was the issue and I noticed that all 4 of my chrome piston valve caps were gone and also that the tire pressure in every tire was different. I went into the gas station and bought a newer more expensive tire pressure gauge just to confirm the tire pressure and it showed the same. So anyway after all this I called firestone in stroudsburg back and told the manager all this who responded and I quote "well what do you want me to do about it"? Huh? He first off told me the worker said it only had one chrome cap on it in which he threw out and I told him he's full of shit and that I have a video to prove it as I always take a video of my vehicles when I bring them anywhere for service making sure I get the businesses sign in the background to protect my own ass as I've had issues in the past. I also told him about the steering wheel not being centered and the tire pressure in which he informed me that I'm wrong and that they have a machine that does all that and it's always accurate. He also told me to go out and buy new valve caps and to bring him the receipt. Why should I drive around to find a replacement for them? These were valve caps that I've never seen before and kinda hard to find. So anyways after all this i never went back and I never will and I contacted corporate as well and told them the issue and will be going to a different firestone to have these issues corrected. Stay away from this place and the losers that work there. Horrible, work, horrible staff and a bunch of angry thieves!!! read more

Today, I had an appointment at 2 pm for my 2 front tires to be changed and also an alignment. They took it in, no problem and the price seemed okay at approximately $350 with the warranty on it so I was fine with it. Jay told me it would be done in 2 hours and so i just dropped my car off and left. about an hour later I get a call from the manager Josh and he told me my right bearing was no good and asked if I wanted to just get it done then. I asked my boyfriend his opinion and he said to go for it because they aren't usually too much. I then asked how much my total would come out to with the bearing being added along with the 2 front tires and alignment and he told me $415 all together with the part and labor. I was fine with everything because I knew it would be easier to just get the bearing fixed now rather than later. I got back at the shop a little early at around 3:30 and waited.. and waited.. and waited. I got up at 4 pm because that was the 2 hour mark and asked how much longer and they said they just had to do the alignment now and it would take an hour to an hour and a half. I thought that was a little long for just that but it was whatever. I waited again, ended up falling asleep because I was just sitting there for another hour and around 4:45- 5 they called me over and mind you, I had just woken up. They had told me if I wanted to donate $1 to even out my total of $802!! My heart sunk because there was absolutely no explanation as to why the total was so much. Jay told me that they put on the hub assembly that manager Josh had told me about. He had said NOTHING about a hub or hub assembly, all that was said in our conversation was that my bearing was bad and i needed a new one. I kept trying to explain that that was not what I was told AT ALL. Keep in my that I am also a 17 year old girl. Trying to take advantage? I think so. Jay and Josh kept offering me their credit card that they have at Firestone and I said no because I am only 17. I then told them that I needed to just call my mom and ask her what to do. My mom was absolutely livid because she knows what had happened was insane and they were just trying to take my money. My mom came and brought with her a close family friend who was asking Jay many questions and asked to speak to Josh on the phone but Jay kept saying he can't call him and all this BS. Finally Jay gave our family friend Josh's phone number and while they were talking, Josh was very rude and unprofessional. He was being very disrespectful and told PJ(family friend) to shut up and asked him what he could do to get us the f### out of his store. PJ said he could take the price off for the hub assembly and labor because that was not what I was told was being put on to my car and being charged with. At the end of our time there, I ended up still paying more for the tax on the part which ended me at roughly $385. These people really tried to take advantage of me just because they thought I was stupid and they knew I am a female. This was an absolutely ridiculous situation and I will NEVER go back or recommend anyone to go here. read more
