Excellent service while passing through town and had a tire destroyed by highway debris. Manager Melvin and technician Ken went above and beyond to get us fixed up and were able to replace a very hard to find size of tire. Thankful for their diligence, professional service, kindness and for getting us back on the road when it seemed all other tire companies were either closed or did not have a solution for our situation. Corporate called the service manager, Cody, and five minutes later, he changed his mind, "Bring it back... we'll look at it." Not in a million years. Discriminatory practices. Steer clear. Went in for a standard oil change and was told 45 minutes to an hour. After two hours I tried to find someone to get my keys back and noticed workers standing around the shop hanging out and laughing. I've been her twice and received bad, slow service both times. I won't be coming back. read more

This is the worst place to take your vehicle. Came in with a slow leak on tire. Was told 30-45 minutes. Finally finished 2 hours later. Went home parked car overnight and got up the next morning to a completely flat tire. read more

Do not go to this location. I went Friday for a standard oil change. I left my vehicle it took them about 2-3 hours they called me with stuff that needed to be done. I declined go pick up the car change oil light still on and now my air is not working. FYI it was working when I took it to them. I go back to they said they were going to look at my air hit a couple of buttons and said my controls are not working. Again the air is not even blowing. The manger told me to take it to the dealer ship bring back paperwork and they will fix it for free. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING HERE. I REALLY DON'T EVEN KNOW IF GHEY DID AN OIL OR OR NOT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. read more

I've been here a couple of times--to replace tires, to get some engine work done, and once when I was having a problem and had a question about my vehicle. I have never been met with anything but extraordinary customer service and the utmost respect. This most recent time, the employee at the desk went out of his way to suggest that I NOT get my car repaired with their shop because, with this particular problem, the dealership would simply be able to do a better job. This was refreshing honesty. The employee then called a couple dealerships to see if I could get in that day--above and beyond. I would not hesitate to go back to Firestone, and would recommend it as a respectful and reputable business. read more

I am happy to say that service at this location was pretty great! I have been there twice in the past several months and was not disappointed. I was told the TRUTH about what services were purchased with my tires and I was met out at my car when I pulled in and received immediate attention! I dropped off the flat wheel and was told I would get a call in a few days with the discounted price of the tire that had a sidewall puncture. (I had been LIED to at another location - was told I did NOT have road hazard protection when in fact I did! - I almost paid FULL PRICE for a new tire - but that other location was SO RUDE and unprofessional I decided to take my business downtown!) I am glad I did! Other than the unfortunate puncture - my tires were practically brand new! I received an appropriate discount. The other experience I had was when I took my car there for a required inspection - the price was LESS THAN HALF of what another company wanted to charge and they were able to do it in a very short time! My daughter's 2005 Toyota Matrix was missing and stalled on her as she was taking off. Took it to this Firestone Auto Care on 3rd Street in Little Rock. Was told that is was the throttle body and it would be upwards of $1800 (yes eighteen hundred dollars to repair). The guy I talked to wasn't very talkative or helpful when I asked a couple of questions while trying to decide whether to fix the car or just scrap it. I just paid Firestone the $103 for diagnostics fees and had my daughter bring the car home. I did a little research and purchased a throttle body from O'Reilly's (who were helpful) and replaced it about 20 minutes. Car is running fine. (I AM NOT A MECHANIC...I sit behind a desk all day). The part cost $208 including tax and shipping. I'll get $28 back when I take the old throttle body to O'Reilly's. Including my time back and forth to the parts store, I have about an hour invested in this repair and will be out about $180 total. Add the $103 for diagnostics and I have $283 and about an hour invested. So, I can only conclude that because a young lady took the car to Firestone they were going to take advantage of the situation and charge her a ridiculously exorbitant amount for parts and labor or their mechanics would take about 16 hours, at $100/hr to do something my dumb a$$ did in 20 minutes. Proceed with caution doing business with these guys. read more

When I picked up my car from the shop I took a left turn out of the parking lot onto the street. When I did I heard a pop and some pinging. That's when I realized my steering wheel was not in the correct position for holding the wheels straight. I carefully made my way back to the shop and told them the issue. That the steering wheel had to be held 45 degrees to the left just to maintain a straight course. The technician who worked on my car said that she had driven my car and that there were no problems, just that the street next to the shop had an angle to it and that's what caused the need to hold to the left. The customer attendant asked the technician to drive my car again. The technician was gone for what seemed to be an unreasonable amount of time for a test drive, when she returned she quickly apologized and said its fixed now and tried to walk off. I asked her what was wrong with it, she apologized and stated she didn't actually test drive my car when she had completed the labor on it or she would have caught the problem then. She explained that she had been working on my tie rods and had failed to put everything back together they way it should be and quickly walked away. This oversight on the technicians part and failure to test drive the car could have resulted a serious accident. The technician lied to me about test driving my car and had let it be released without fully completing her work on the vehicle. read more

Stay away from this place. I am writing reviews to warn others about this shop. Let me start by saying the only reason I went there is because I work downtown and it was convenient. Now let me continue by saying that this is the absolute worst shop ever! Three times I have left that place with my vehicle in worse shape than before. These were my experiences: 1. Ford F150. I took the truck in for an alignment because I bought new tires. They sent me home in a death trap. I could not keep it on the road. I called them about it and they said their normal alignment tech wasn't in so they did the best they could. How could a manager allow this to happen? I took it back when the tech was in and he fixed it. 2. Jeep Wrangler. Similar experience. Went in for alignment, came out worse than before. I took it to a different place to get it fixed this time. 3. Toyota Camry. Took in for alignment. On my way home I noticed that my breaks were pulsating like crazy. I thought I was going to lose them on the interstate. I narrowed the problem down to a rear break issue that was not present when I took it in. This must have occurred during the "summer special" inspection. But the worst part is that my car now smells like a homeless man died in it. I want nothing to do with this poorly managed shop again. In fact, I will never visit a Firestone anywhere. Never, Never, Never Again!!!! read more
