I was on vacation in Lake Charles and began having brake issues. I took my vehicle to the Lake Charles location for service. Not only was I was stuck there for 4 hours and told me to come back the next morning. When I came back, they said they were not able to do the work needed because the part would take a week to get there. I wasted an entire afternoon and part of the next morning. I then went to one of your competitors, Mavis Tire, and not only they were able to fix my issue in less than 2 hours, they did the work for almost $1000 less than what was quoted by this Firestone location. I had tires ordered and paid for and the day I went to have them put on at, 8:00 in the morning, I was told they had no employees. The store manage, Corbin was the only soul working in this business. Answering phones, dealing with a line of people. But with a smile and positive, polite attitude the entire time. He chose to go from behind the desk, into that shop and put my tires on for me. And I wasn't the only one. He did so for several others as well. He could have approached this day differently. If it had been me, i would have locked the doors and put a closed sign up. Second time, second time for me to bring my car in for tires and they say it's fixed. The very next day my low tire pressure screen comes on. The first time I went in for all four... next day all 3 tires were low! Make sure it's fixed! Because you make us get there at 7:30 I. The morning to leave our cars for the day. With that means we have to ask people to pick us up and bring us to work or wherever. NO ONE HAS TIME TO KEEP CGOING BACK EVERY DAMN TIME WE GO TO YOU! Then you guys hate giving patches. Always make us buy new tires. OVER FIRESTONE!!!! If I have to stop and put air in my tire right after I get them done I'm going to scream! So this review is the next best thing I can do. I needed 2 tires on the back of my car. The front 2 had been purchased at this Firestone location less than 2 years ago. They looked at the tires and came to the same conclusion that my husband and I had that the tires were worn and even showed signs of cracking. They wanted to change brakes and I said no I would check with my husband. When the car was done I checked and the new tires were on the front and the old badly worn and cracked tires were still on the back. I called the service guy out and he said he looked at the tires and it was the front that was worn and cracked. I asked him to look at the tires again that were taken off because they were less than 2 years old and well within the warranty. The Manager came out and told me the tires taken off had more than half their tread left and they would take care of putting them on the back of the car. No apology, no perks and 30 more minutes or so and I was gone. Extremely poor service. read more

Camila SanJavier in the last week TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! not only is the customer service an absaloutely disgrace but I'm looking into suing them if it's even possible. We took my car to get an alignment and oil change. Also to have a noise looked at. The noise was a normal "need a new wheel bearing" sound. We walked in, waited 6 hours and they came out saying we needed all new wheel bearings, and numerous other parts to be fixed. We felt we didn't really have a choice since they said if we didn't fix it now it could be dangerous and we had a newborn. We ended up paying 1600$. Yea that's right, $1600 . Ridiculous! We could've bought a ton of new parts but they only changed a few. Then a week later my car starts messing up again. A new problem. We take it back to Firestone and they want to replace a bunch of other parts and charge us $800. I know for a fact all those parts didn't need to be replaced because my car is BRAND NEW. Bought it in July. Then they hand us a quote for $1500! These people are ridiculous and rude and not helpful at all. We didn't even get anything changed and they still charged us $100. Don't take your car here. They make whatever problem worse and charge you a ridiculous amount. I feel they caused my car to break after we took it so we'd have to go back and spend more money. Currently looking into suing for putting my family & kids in danger. read more

I made an appointment a week in advance. I brought my car in a few minutes before my appointment, and the technician said to come back in an hour. I come back in an hour, and my car was still sitting out in the parking lot and hadn't even been worked on yet. Not only that, but the manager was RUDE and condescending to me when I expressed my disappointment. I left to go to Sears, and they had my tires change din 30 minutes, without an appointment. I wanted to get the driver side headlight fixed. I was in houston last week and got quoted for $64 in Firestone houston. However, due to some reason I was not able to visit them. So this week I call this firestone to set me up with an appointment for fixing the headlight and The personnel in here quotes me $175 for one head lamp. $15 for the bulb and rest for labor. whaaatt !!! read more

My car badly needed brake repairs and these guys were great to work with! They had my car just over two hours and even threw in free inspections of more than just the brakes. They called me as soon as the repairs were complete and let my boyfriend pick it up for me later that evening. Their prices were comparable to other car repair shops I've been to, so no complaint there. I will definitely be coming back to these guys next time I have car trouble! read more

Will never be back again. prices are a little high. they were supposed to call me back the next day for an inspection that needed to be done in my vehicle. I called them 3 days later and still they have not done anything to the vehicle. They called me back 1 hr later to tell me what was wrong with it. REALLY. they couldn't have done that in those 3 days. Went to Midas down the road and they did in 1 HR what they were suppose to do in those 3 days. NEVER AGAIN! Well I read thru all of the reviews before I decided to post about our LOVELY experience with your WONDERFUL store and employees and saw a common theme over the last 4 years...nice but DECEPTIVE. On Saturday we were driving from Houston to a wedding in Opelousas La when my 75 year old RETIRED parents called to tell us they had a flat on one of their brand new tires. They had ran over something on the interstate. We were behind them a ways but rushed to help change the tire and, of course, had to put a donut tire spare. They bought their tires at Discount Tire Store, which is a Texas based chain, none in La. They have an auto hazard warranty on their tires that will replace them for free. $200 Michelin tire. We got the spare tire and wanted to check the air pressures and integrity of the small spare. One of your NICE guys came out and told them it could possibly be repaired, but he had to take the tire apart to determine the amount of damage. I pointed out what looked like a hole in the tire. He came out and explained that the tire was not repairable because they had drove too long on the flat. He wanted to sell us a new tire their but knew they could get their replacement for free at Discount. They checked the air pressures and sent us on our way. Now we worried about driving on a spare donut tire. My parents decided that they needed to head out this morning from Breaux Bridge La to drive to Beaumont to get their replacement tire in ALL THIS SEVERE, DANGEROUS WEATHER 149 MILES ON A SPARE DONUT TIRE to find out at Discount that IT WAS ONLY A NAIL THAT COULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED AT YOUR STORE. SHAME ON YOU JERKS FOR TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY PARENTS. IF THIS IS THE WAY YOU RUN YOUR STORE I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE. read more

I took my car for alignment and balancing wheels, was told it would take 1 hour to complete and I would get a call to pick it up, I came back after 3 hrs (no call received) and the car was in the very same spot I left it, they had done nothing to it. I was leaving and the front desk guy comes out telling me that I still owe him money for the wheel balancing, I confront him telling him that the car is in the exact same spot and has no trace of any work being don on it and then he realizes he was about to charge me for nothing. What a waste of my time and i almost get ripped of. I don't recommend it, there are plety of decent places to get the job done in the city. read more

The most ridiculous experience at an automotive shop took my car for an alignment was told I need a new Pittman arm.... well I told them that was fine I came back a few hours later and picked up my truck... as I was pulling out of the parking lot I realized I had No power steering.... so I went back in and the guy tells me... oh yea you have a bad power steering leak..... never this whole time have they told me that and I knew I didn't have one because I park on a cement driveway and always check my fluids... it was like 5 o'clock so they topped it off and I drove home well I woke up Sunday and noticed the fluid on my driveway.... so I had my son turn on my truck and when he turned the wheel fluid was spewing out of a gash on my power steering hose there service is terrible and they either cut the hose on purpose or did it when they were changing out my Pittman arm either way it wasn't there they could of got me killed or in a wreck behind there negligence and incompetence..... I will be in contact with corporate but I'm sure nothing will be done! read more
