I had driven over 30 miles on a bad tire and was desperate to get to my Girl Scout Troop that was waiting for me in OKC! Walmart did not have my tire in stock but the wonderful men at Firestone in Duncan, OK took my car 30 minutes before closing time and got me on the road to have a fun weekend with my Troop!! Ended up getting approved for a scheduled maintenance at Noon. we drove over an hour just to be called a little over 15 minutes away to be notified at "11:45am" when they open at 7:30am that their employee called in sick. what an absolute joke of a company. it is Monday, y'all are just lazy pos that waste peoples time. Firestone roadside assistance is trash. They had no issues taking my money for a tow but then couldn't find me assistance. I was then told I would be refunded before the day was over, it is now four days later and still no refund. I called and asked why and was just now told it would take up to ten days. Why take someone's money just to tell them you can't help them? read more

BEWARE: Took my car in for a simple diagnostic because it was missing, this was a few years ago, but the experience was so bad and ridiculous I still talk about it often. They charged me 90 bucks to run a diagnostic, then told me the rings were blown and I needed a whole new engine!!?? Ok, I used to work at body shops and not a complete moron so I knew better. For one even if the rings were blown it would simply need a rebuild not a "whole new engine". And for two of the rings were blown it would have been smoking like a freight train. I took it elsewhere, ran a FREE diagnostic, which told me it was the number 6 coil pak that was bad. Parts store had one in stock for 30 dollars and I was back on the road.. these franchise places often do their kind of thing thinking everyone is a complete gullible idiot instead of just performing the service you ask of them and really give all the honest mechanics just trying to make a living a bad name. Jiffy lube does the same thing. Then when an actual mechanic brings stuff in because they are too busy or don't have any tools anymore to mess with the stuff themselves or just burned out , these types of people are exposed for the crooks they truly are. And it's almost always franchises! Btw buy your tires online, it's much cheaper and they will ship them to your door then you just have to get a shop to mount them, way cheaper.. these places mark everything up at least $50-$100. read more
