    I have been going to Firestone since I started driving in 1996. I have never had any issues until I came to this store. I had booked an appointment with this Firestone to get some brake work done while I wait in the lobby because I was hearing a grinding noise in the back when I would brake. It started out fine, I was the only person waiting in the lobby waiting for my car. They put my car in the air and took the wheels off. They said I needed rear brakes and rotors and that the guy was actively working on my vehicle and another at the same time. I told him okay and that I was going to walk across the street to eat lunch. After lunch, I came back and it still wasn't done. I sat down and watched the news in the waiting room. After I was there for about 3 hours, the guy asked if I was in a hurry and I said that there was somewhere I had to be but that this was more important and that I would wait till this was done. About 10 minutes later, he came in and told me that they were not going to be able to work on my vehicle today (after telling me that they were already working on it) and that I would have to come back some other time. It was only 2:10pm at that point. So instead of calling me and cancelling my appointment or even letting me know when I got there that they couldn't work on it that day, they wasted over 3 hours of my time on my only day off. Then, the worker tried to charge me on top of that for a "Car Care Package" that I never asked for. I told him that there was no way I was paying for a service I never asked for and especially after wasting a lot of my Saturday. He threatened to call the police if I didn't pay until he noticed I was video recording him. I did report it to corporate and I really hope they do something about it so nobody else has to go through this. I won't ever give this store my business again!!

    Called made appt for 10am Saturday it is now 1130 and I have yet to be seen was told they make 3 appts for each time and I have to just wait. Wtf is the point of an appt if you are Not seen anytime close to it..! Very unprofessional don't waste your time with these folks... pic of one of their many smoke breaks...

    I can't even fathom this place! Worse customer service I've ever had! I only need one this done and it has taken this 3+ hours!

A person named DAVID called me back and had the MOST unfriendly tone and was super bossy! Wow!!! I am a very polite and professional person and am also a Senior Citizen. I do not deserve to be spoken to that way! HE was ordering me to bring my car in, in the morning. I told him I could not! HE THEN TOLD ME "THEN I CAN'T HELP YOU!!!" REALLY????!!!! I used to train large business in customer service, especially telephone etiquette. Now, I would NEVER COME INTO YOUR LOCATION EVER!!!! Brian, Wendy and the rest of the crew not only got it taken care of quickly and WAY under cost, but they did a ton more that it needed but never tried to sell me on anything extra. Amazing! We also just purchased a Land Rover and took it there for a bumper to bumper inspection which they did as well as replacing rear breaks. What really stood out was that when I asked about an oil change and other preventative measures, they told me that since Land Rover is such a specific type of vehicle, that I may be better suited to find a Land Rover specialty shop.     I had a very poor experience with this shop and would not recommend them…read more I brought my vehicle in for a strut replacement, and after being told the wrong part was ordered twice, I expected the issue to be corrected properly. Instead, without my knowledge or approval, they cut the top hole of the strut to make it fit. At no point was this clearly communicated to me beforehand. Their explanation was that they "tried calling," and even said, "this is why we don't like texting," instead of taking responsibility. That does not justify modifying a critical suspension component without customer approval. What makes this worse is that they came back a second time to check the vehicle. During that visit, I was told nothing was wrong with the strut and that the issue was related to my brakes. Even then, they still failed to mention that the strut had been modified. I only found out later after having someone else look at it. The lack of transparency and accountability is the biggest issue here. Instead of owning the mistake, they continued to shift blame and focus on communication excuses rather than the fact that they altered a part without consent. I also felt the work was rushed. When I asked what was being done after the wrong parts were ordered twice, I was told it would "get done" because they had other customers waiting. No one mentioned altering the part at that time either. I have another vehicle, so there was no need to rush or take shortcuts. I would have waited for the correct part to be installed properly. In the end, I had to request a brand new, unmodified strut and chose not to let them touch my vehicle again. This situation could have been handled professionally, but instead it turned into a frustrating experience with poor communication and questionable workmanship. If you value transparency and want work done the right way, I would recommend going elsewhere.

    Ed spent close to an hour reviewing my vehicle history and I appreciated it--he really "geeked out"…read moreon the details in a good way. He comes across as one of the last real mechanics--knowledgeable, thorough, and someone I would have trusted to work on my vehicle. His daughter later called to schedule. She said she was a mechanic. I mentioned Ed had spent a long time with me (as a compliment) and asked a follow-up question about how they'd clear out the engine, noting I had a budget. She said she didn't have enough information, which is fine, but the tone felt closed off. I said, "It doesn't seem like you want to engage in the conversation, and that's okay." She called that rude, I repeated it, and she hung up. I went in person to clear things up because I respected Ed's time. Instead, I was told I had insulted his knowledge--which is completely untrue--and was asked to leave, even after apologizing if anything came across wrong. I respect that Ed let her handle it, but the situation was misrepresented and handled poorly. Unfortunate, because my impression of him was very positive. I did walk away with enough information to pursue next steps, and Elite Auto appears equally equipped, so the time wasn't a complete loss. Based on my experience, I'd keep interactions with her limited to scheduling and work directly with Ed for anything beyond that.
