I did have to follow up for a couple of days but they fixed my car key switch, just fine! My ignition was not turning on.

On 6/12/23 I was traveling west on Fillmore and my truck quit working, even the steering would not work. I managed to pull into a street right across from Auto Tech and went into their shop, the person at the counter told me not to worry his mechanic would be right out to see what the problem was. In just a few minutes the mechanic did manage to get my truck into the shop and saw that the serpentine belt had broke. The man at the counter asked me if I wanted them to fix it or have it towed to another shop. I said no please fix it for me. He immediately ordered the new parts and as soon as they were delivered, they fixed my truck and I was on my way. I am an 81 year old lady and I so appreciated the help they gave me that day. Auto Tech Plaza on East Platte recently performed a tune-up and extensive repairs on the coolant system of my 22 year old car. A few days later there was an engine failure. Due to unusual circumstances, and thinking that the Auto Tech work had no bearing on my new problem, I had the car towed to a different dealer who performed extensive and expensive diagnostics and repair. The problem appeared to be a result of the earlier work at Auto Tech. When I presented the information to Auto Tech, they recognized their responsibility, and even though their guarantee policy requires that you return the vehicle to them for repair, they immediately reimbursed me for the work performed at the other dealer. No hassle, no excuse making. read more

A rival repair shop quoted me a $4,000 repair charge. Jim, at Auto Tech Plaza, looked at it and said that it was not necessary to fix. However, down the road if should become so, he would only charge $1800. Two years later after no problems with the supposedly broken piece, Jim was obviously right. All small repairs they have done on my car have been performed well and in a timely manner. But the thing I appreciate most is having a mechanic willing to tell me the truth instead of making a quick buck. read more

This is by far the worst place to bring your car!! I had a timing belt job done 2 years ago and my timing belt started making noises again and I paid another mechanic to look at it. He took out my timing belt parts and showed me that it was the original tensioner pulley and water pump that I had paid over $1,000 to be fixed and all that was "newer" was my belt. I have heard so many bad things about this place but still gave them a chance and I am now kicking myself in the ass. Totally dishonest people. read more

I got a flat on my way to work on a cold and snowy morning and happened to pull off the highway and park across the road from this place and they were able to take my car in right away. I waited about 45 min for them to change my tire to a good used one. They were very nice, and only charged me for the tire; no labor charges. They also didn't push buying new tires even though I need some soon-they just fixed my flat and I was on my way in no time! They also had an awesome waiting area-it's a mechanics shop and all the furniture was made from old equipment-I loved that! read more

Awesome service. Had to get my car towed there, they called to let me knew it was there. they were very thorough in their whole car inspection, catching things that I knew were problems but had forgotten to ask other repair shops and the other shops missed. Best of all, the total price ended up being $300 less than they quoted, and they didn't just keep at the quoted price and try to take my $. Definitely will go back in the future. read more

Was a loyal ATP customer for years- until today!! Called the West Fillmore store to check on my warranty, as the part ATP installed fell apart just a year after they installed it. Horrible "new" manager. I originally paid $390 to have them fix my axle, and 15 months later the SAME axle breaks while I am driving. After calling AAA, having car towed in 15 degree weather- I called ATP and asked for Mike, the manager that always took care of me in the past. Instead, I was greeted rudely by the new manager. He had an condescending attitude the minute he picked up the phone. I explained to him politely that I was a returning customer- and that my defective axle should have been under warranty. He accused me of false claims, saying, "maybe you were in a collision- how do I know?" Instead of acting professionally- inspecting it or asking questions specific to my situation- he makes unfounded accusations to shift the blame (or work) away from ATP. I've never been treated that badly by anyone as a customer. Maybe Auto Tech Plaza doesn't value repeat business. I won't be back. When I then told him that I believed the work performed was poor- and I wanted him to take care of the problem- his demeanor got worse. Without even inspecting my vehicle, he then says, "If you're looking for an inexpensive fix... you better take it elsewhere." I was FLOORED by his lack of people skills, disregard for customer service ( and safety), and the coarse, rude manner in which he represents Auto Tech Plaza. As a salesman who talks to many people daily, I now have to alert everyone of the terrible experience I had. Take your car to someone who appreciates your dollars. NEVER AGAIN!! These guys used to be great, the only shop I would go to in town. A couple of months ago they changed their policy and now they book everything way in advance. I don't always know when I'll have time for an oil change two weeks ahead of time. Terrible service policy, so disappointing. read more

Went to this business for an alignment and brake work on my 2006 Dodge Dakota. Date of service was about May 9, 2012. When I picked up my vehicle, both brakes and alignment were not improved. They have been in business for decades, but were unable to get either condition corrected on the first try. I filled a complaint with the BBB. Had to return for a 3rd time to try and settle my complaint, with no success. Would highly recommend that you go elsewhere if your vehicle requires service. read more

We have been taking our cars here for years and they are the BEST. Amazing customer service, ALWAYS honest and upfront about costs/repairs/parts, fast, reliable... All around awesome. We always buy our tires through them because they repair (or replace) just about any tire issue for no charge. I can't say enough good about them. While they may not be the cheapest or fastest in town (although they never charge more than what's absolutely necessary and never up-sell/push unnecessary parts or repairs), they are definitely the best. read more

I own a 2001 Ford E 150 with a wheelchair lift. I had brake problems and have been in and out of Just Brakes. They said my brakes were not adjusting the rear brakes due to improper routing of the emergency brake line. I also had them to check my shocks. They said my shocks were in good shape but springs were bad due to age and 160,000 miles. They preferred not to replace springs as it may cause a problem with the vehicle being level. Honest people anyone else may have sold me shocks. I have the impression it's a family owned business. read more

My car died on me and I had it towed to the nearest mechanic. They checked it all out and the conclusion was I had a dead battery. Got it replaced and I was on my way. Fast forward 8 months later and my car is dead again. I have to tow it to the nearest mechanic (different place) and they tell me the battery isn't getting juice from the alternator due to all the corrosion on the cables leading from the battery. The mechanic tells me that the person that replaced my battery didn't bother to clean the cables which apparently is routine and should've been done! So now I'm out $154 plus a days wages from missing work! On top of all that the tow company left my car in neutral and it went down a hill and hit another car. All because these guys didn't do a routine cleaning as they changed my battery! What a headache! I called them to complain and all they said was sorry and we'll look into it. I think they should pay for me having to pay someone else to clean up their mess. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend this place at all! I love the mechanic I go to now,been there twice and they always explain what has to be done before they do it. read more
