I started working with Fire because of her amazing bodywork and intuitive skills. I will let all the other reviews speak to her expertise in those areas (with which I whole-heartedly agree). I want to talk about her energy work! She came to our house and conducted an intention ceremony, which is like setting your goals for the space and your family (in our case). My kids participated as well and loved it. Fire saged the house, used Reiki symbols and the Violet Flame to cleanse our new (to us) home and help us start our lives here without the leftover energy from the previous owners. When that was concluded we all thought about our intentions and goals and established them to each other. It was so wonderful to hear what everyone wanted and learn more about our family and how we can collectively help each other reach our goals. My virtual session with Firestar was revelatory. She was very intuitive, picking up on my current life events and what I have been going through very quickly, and then from there she gave me a Destiny Reading. That was amazingly accurate for the past and present. What was revelatory was what was in the cards for the future. One of my friends has been raving about this healer/massage therapist she had been going to for treatments. Anyway, her excitement piqued my curiosity. Last week, I didn't know exactly what I needed, but I needed something...so, as I was talking to Firestar, she scanned my energy, patiently answered a list of life-related questions (she's an intuitive and gave me very helpful+practical advice), and gave me the best massage/body work I have experienced so far (deep, good pressure, cracked my back like a chiropractor!). After my session, I went to a party later that night and a whole bunch of folks mentioned that I "glowed" (in a positive way, as opposed to glowing from oily skin or radioactivity). One friend even asked what skin care products I was using! :D Well, I attribute the glow to Firestar's work on me! About Firestar, she is a really cool person, easy to talk to; she is good peeps. I met Firestar a few years ago from my ex roomate (who is a Reiki Master). I had been experiencing a good deal of stress and it manifested in my body and had me twisted in pain. I went to Firestar for a massage on the recommendation of my chiropractor. He has been treating me for shoulder problems and said that a massage would help. The massage was nice and relaxing, but nothing special. She charged me $120 for a 60 minute massage, with no other amenities, which is over priced. The local spa I typically go to has a beautiful facility, a locker room and comfy robes. They start you off with a foot bath in a quiet setting. The massage therapist I see there is great at working with sports and injury related problems. And, they charge much less for the service. read more

Firestar was the amazing key who unlocked the emotional/mental blockages that were causing me agonizing back pain. X-Rays and MRI revealed nothing to explain the extreme lower back pain I was experiencing. Firestar is the best masseuse I have ever had! She is intuitive and strong and so thorough! She understands the way that all muscles connect and my need for deep strength combined with gentle coaxing. I discovered her talent about 8 years ago and have never found anyone better for me. I love strong deep-tissue work; however, she's wonderfully gentle too (when desired) with long, even strokes! I HATE "pokey" massages. When I had completed a one hour session I felt like a new human. My body felt rejuvenated and my souls felt purified. The whole experience was very professional. The timing of making sure my whole body was taken care of was perfect to the hour. Very relaxing music was played and candles lit. This just made the whole experience so much better.
