GROSS! My family and I stayed at the Inn's cottage. When we arrived for our reservation the cottage…read morewas hot & stinky. Windows were closed up and no air conditioning running on a hot summer's day. There is 1 small window air conditioner for the entire place. Besides the heat, the first thing you notice is the gross, mildewy smell when you walk in the front door. Smells like Grandma's attic. Plus, black mold all around the bathtub. The Master Bedroom bed felt like a concrete slab. And what they don't show you on the website is that 3 out of 4 beds are actually in an attached garage & literally placed next to the Inn's storage area of vacuum cleaners, towels etc. Speaking of supplies, they don't even supply toilet paper. At least they were kind enough to supply a fly swatter, so you could swat at all the flying insects landing on you while you're trying to sleep in a garage. Then the cleaning lady busts in the cottage the next morning to do loads of laundry during your stay. We were scheduled to stay 2 nights but we couldn't handle 1 more night and chose to stay at another hotel. If you make the mistake of staying at this place, BYOTP (bring your own toilet paper) and be prepared for a rough night ahead. Before writing this review I brought my concerns to the hotel owner. She was rudely dismissive and refused to refund us for the extra night.

The air was so clean and the room had great air circulation and a nice ceiling fan. So comfy for sleeping. The private porch for the room we had (the Wizard's Room) reminded me of a beach room in Jamaica--maybe better because there were more flowers and hummingbirds!

Internet was difficult to join, difficult to maintain and very slow when I did connect. Coffee? no : dishwater. In the lobby, it was literally coming out light brown and transparent. Build in time for a run to Starbucks, almost across the street. Room was okay Dark, but that is what we've sadly come to expect. The ironic thing about that is the chain could easily put in 100 watt equivalent lighting and actually save money by moving to LED technology. One of four desktop power outlets was inoperable. Quiet AC, well appointed bathroom. TV was only slightly difficult to figure out. Coffee maker needs to be upgraded to a Keurig instead of these insipid tray coffee makers with postage stamp bundles of coffee. Have you noticed we like coffee? Years ago - maybe two decades, gas stations finally figured out we like really good coffee and began investing in these fancy bean to cup makers. They are slow, but make great coffee. Time for the "O"tel industry to follow suit. If you will allow me a small rant, it's time for the mainstream hotel industry to start leveling with their customers. We are not saving the planet by hanging up the towels, we are merely saving the chain money on laundry costs. I am not picking on Wyndham - this farce has been perpetrated for years by all kinds of resort industry apologists. If you want to save money on laundry costs, how about a sign stating that I won't be getting fresh towels during my stay, in order to place a larger chunk of the bill into the corporate pockets by reducing laundry costs? It would be a refreshing sign that the resort and hotel industry is finally crediting their clients with some intelligence. Thanks Mike

The free continental breakfast was not as nice as others I've seen. I was hoping for some sweets but there were none. They had pre-made, pre-packaged omelets that I took a pass on.
