Cauliflower ORDER IT that curry is IT!
    Mrs Anne Marie W.

Atmosphere for us was a little extra. We were in a date and had seen a play that afternoon. Music was a little much, felt like I was in the woofer, or am I now an old lady? So would have delivered a 3 star review. Drinks were just ok. Old fashioned was too sugary and not boozy enough, or have I been mixing them at home too much? BUt THE FOOD DELIVERED though were out of pork belly and lamb meatballs. Ding. BUT Panzonella salad, cauliflower -I could have BATHED in the curry. Wagu burger. Wagu dumplings and brussel sprouts salad were outstanding!!!. I would brave the loud 20 something crowd for this place again...maybe. Service was relatively good. May be back again. Would def recommend once.

I don't like giving restaurants three stars but unfortunately our experience wasn't worth anything more... It was underwhelming. In my opinion, the food was overpriced for the small portion size; for example, two scallops were $22. We ordered three dishes total, and some were better than others, but overall the flavors lacked. It was not worth the $100 we spent. Plus, we left the restaurant hungry, which isn't a good sign. On a positive note, I'm glad we tried a new restaurant. I enjoyed the chic atmosphere and the waiter was personable. Finally, the restaurant was quiet and empty when we went on a Sunday evening. Fireproof needs redirection to be more successful because it has a good foundation!

I have come here a couple times for happy hour and the drinks never disappoint. There is a gin drink where they light the rosemary on fire and I have to get that every single time I come. The apps are all really good too! It's a tiny bit pricey but the restaurant itself inside is super nice and it's pretty easy to get a reservation! If u are looking for a new happy hour in cbus this is a good one to try!

We had a great experience here last night start to finish. We were greeted by a very friendly host. It was his second day on the job he said (you're doing great). Michelle was the server that took care of us and she was great as well. I came with 3 others and we all shared a bottle of the magnum prisoner red wine (great deal btw... 1.5L for $100). And then because it was 4 of us, we shared a large variety of items. We started with the carnitas tostada, panzanella salad and wagyu bone marrow (it was wagyu wednesday!). These 3 were great appetizers... my favorite was the panzanella salad which was just so fresh with the tomato and mozzarella and the very delicious salted bread cubes. I knew I would like the carnitas though because it was loaded with cilantro (my fave). The bone marrow was delicious as well and also came with that delicious salted bread (and toasted). Adam the manager let us know that the bone marrow comes from a local farm in Mansfield, OH. It's awesome to see these bigger restaurants supporting local businesses and farms. Next up were the wagyu dumplings, veggie fried rice, brussels salad, and pork belly. These all had an asian flair to it. I have had the wagyu dumplings before. It's savory and decadent. Pork belly was perfectly prepared with the exact right amount of gochujang. Brussels salad was good with an Asian vinaigrette. Fried rice I wasn't the biggest fan of. It is "veggie" so the protein was egg but felt like this could use more acidity or savory-ness. For our "entree" type dishes, we got wagyu sliders, elote, sakura skirt steak and artichokes. Wow all of this was so good and they actually paired really well together too. The veggie sides had a nice freshness / acidity that paired well with the wagyu. The beef was excellent. After trying all these variety items, I have to update my review! I think I ordered the wrong stuff last time. I also noticed some of those items I didn't care for are no longer on the menu (i.e. squash noodles). Oh and how can I forget... apparently there is in-house entertainment every week?! We had a magician come to our table and he completely blow our minds with his magic tricks. What a nice addition to our dinner experience and totally unexpected. Loved that! There is also a DJ bumping some fun music so definitely the place to be if you're looking for a more exciting scene on a week day.

Visited for a birthday brunch on Father's Day...on a Sunday. Talk about PACKED. But still had a great time with good food, good community, and good vibes. This was the first time checking out brunch and will have to try out the rest of the menu.

Fireproof is a solid option for social tapas. The environment is cozy for groups and the service was great. Also they have impeccable bathrooms. Fireproof would get 4 stars from if their prices were matched with food quality. I'd rank it 3.5 if I had that button :D Each dish was good. None were extraordinary except the Waygu dumplings and the red sangria cocktail. Pork belly- close, so close. It needs a flash sear to stand up to the strong sauce. The texture is beautiful, the texture to sauce balance just didn't equate. The squash noodles were a perfect texture and that's hard to do! Someone in the back has a heavy hand with the citrus overall so order it with a light hand to the citrus and you won't be sorry. The veggie fried rice is spot on, just not so memorable that I'd come back for only that. Enjoyed it! Worth doing once.

I went to fireproof to try their vegan menu which they are offering on Thursdays. And wow we were blown away. As someone who is not a vegan, I truly loved all of the dishes. The mushroom and toast was out of this world. However they flavor those mushrooms were incredible. The ramen bowl was great as well and so was the beyond burger. They put this ketchup/tomato jam on the burger and it was great, really added to the burger. Finally, I got their blood orange margarita and it was delicious!! The waiter was great and the manager came to check on us as well to ensure everything was great. Vegan or not, check out this menu!!

Not worth it at all. For the price you pay, the food is not nearly good enough to justify cost. As a tapas restaurant I know it is small plate based, but the food came out and was subpar at best. The salmon and rice as well as the wagyu sliders were not even warm at all. Our server rarely checked in on us and left us sitting for extended periods at a time when we asked for more water and our check. Will not be returning.

We went to Fireproof for my friends birthday dinner and it was good. We got the wagyu skirt steak MR and it was delicious!!! We also got the lamb meatballs, potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms. There wasn't any seasoning on the potatoes so I wouldn't order them again.

Absolutely delicious tapas and drinks. Everything we ordered came out beautiful and delicious

Fireproof let me down a bit. We waited 45 minutes before getting even a drink order in. Ordered the wagu dumplings and they were actually very good, but small portion (it is a small plate style restaurant so that is to be expected). The fried rice to accompany that was just alright in my opinion definitely could have used some more flavor. Lastly- ordered an appetizer that never came. Unfortunately got a bad first impression of this place.

Me and Amir went here for one of our Saturday dates to grab a quick drink and tapas. Unfortunately their appetizer menu didn't look to appeasing so we just stuck to drinks. I really enjoyed the beautiful cocktails and feel of this place. Our bartender was also super kind, we watched him freshly squeeze different fruits for the cocktails and boy does that seem like a lot of work but he was doing it! I can't remember his name but I wish I did because he was super helpful when it came to ordering drinks since we had never been there before we had no clue on what to order but he pointed us in the right direction and both of our drinks came out fantastic. I do think the drinks are a little pricey, but they are also beautifully made.

What a bummer. Service leaves A LOT to be desired. Waiting 30+ mins after your reservation and seating to get a server to your table when half the restaurant is empty seems odd. But then she was literally just apologizing to table after table.. so idk understaffed? All of the food was just ok honestly, nothing noteworthy amongst this busy strip of competing restaurants. Oh and they forgot our main entree, but maybe for the best?

The kitchen boasts beautiful cabinets that offer a lot of storage. Granite countertops are throughout and look really nice on the 'island' portion. It is a very good looking and impressive apartment is the bottom line. All the appliances worked without issue and in the 2 years we lived there, we never had anything close to a major maintenance issue. When we did reach out to them, they were there very quickly and were always polite. The 1.5 baths were very nice in an apartment this size. The master bath has a huge mirror, a walk-in shower, and plenty of room. We liked the bedroom a lot and were happy with all the storage space. Do note that there is carpeting in the bedroom and walk in closet, but it was extremely clean and well maintained. You cannot beat the location! Right in the heart of the Short North, basically walking distance to everything. We were able to bike to campus for work and get to where we needed without issue. Initially we were concerned with the noise levels, but our apartment was located in the back and overlooked the courtyard. It was very quiet, and we could rarely hear our neighbors or the street. If noise is a concern of yours, I suggest waiting for something that is around the courtyard (which is awesome by the way). The staff was great, and the building was very well maintained. It was always clean, and we never had a problem with mail or packages. There was never an issue with the elevators, even when moving in and out. All of the stuff you don't want to deal with, garbage and what not was convenient and clean as well. We loved this apartment and the only reason we didn't stay longer is that we moved. You won't be disappointed by The Hub.

The Agent also informed me that all amenities are included in my stay, such as a public kitchen, Exercise Courtyard, Fitness Room, underground parking, bike rentals, Common Area for work or just lounging, public balcony and a rooftop patio. After a quick check-in process, I parked my rental car in the underground garage (floor P3) and made my way to room 628.
