I ended up having a very positive experience with the City of Largo Building Division. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk was pleasant and welcoming while checking me in. I was then immediately taken back to speak with Rachel, who took the time to listen, research my issue, answer my questions, and even speak with a higher up to help clarify what was going on. I had been working on this issue with my contractor for nearly two months, and the same day I left the office, my contractor finally agreed to complete the work that had been pending. Rachel did not rush me and handled the situation with professionalism and care. Both she and the front desk receptionist were kind and wished me a great day as I left. I'm grateful for the help I received.

Everything feels accessible, and there's always something close by no matter what you're in the mood for. We really enjoy the WingHouse and Finleys Irish pub. Largo Central Park is an absolute highlight beautifully maintained with walking paths, open green space, and a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for a morning stroll or letting the kids run around. The Largo Central Park Nature Preserve is another gem, offering a quieter, more natural setting with trails and wildlife that make you feel like you've escaped the city for a bit. They have a local mural too. The attractions and nearby spots just add to the experience. The town of Redington is little Florida town with snazzy shops, cute boutiques, and a piping night…read morelife. As a millionaire I heard about this place 14 years ago when my parent bought a condo down here. The town it self has many diners and all are satisfactory. It's a small town, everyone knows everyone's name. The locals are as tan as can be but also friendly. My wife loves it so much that I'm considering buying a condo. The town is great for people of all economical backgrounds.

Others were not so pleased! The original old cars are amazing pieces of art! From a 50'something 2-seater Thunderbird to a perfect 2 of 9 Alfa Romeo and then a 195X Chevy Suburban! My personal favorite was the classic 60's clean and sharp Cadillac! Never to be duplicated and always to be appreciated! These designs are incredibly unique and beautiful! Oh yea. I got there early and they were out of coffee. Minus one star but life is good with beautiful automobile art!

Old Fire Station #3 was decommissioned in 1985 by the City of Tampa…read more Soon after it was purchased by a German developer who did nothing with the property for approximately five years. In 1991 a private citizen, Bruce Redden, acquired the building to renovate into a private residence. Bruce Redden engaged the City of Tampa in a legal fight to push back on the mis-spent energies of the City Attorneys office. The Tampa Tribune wrote an editorial critiquing the City Attorney's effort. (Article attached below) Attached is an early picture of the Fire Station #3 during the ongoing legal fight with the city attorney's office. With the sign attached to the front of the fire station to call attention to the ongoing ridiculous scenario. During the time Bruce Redden owned the Fire Station it was a private residence. Mr. Redden enjoyed living in Hyde Park with his great neighbors. With close proximity to Bayshore Boulevard, the Fire Station hosted Gasparilla Parade parties each year. Bruce Redden owned Fire Station #3, till 1998 when the building was sold to another private owner, Bruce Berg.
