What a great place! A MUST visit If your looking for high quality furniture (at a reasonable price)…read moreand are planning a trip to Asheville, NC. We've been VERY pleased with the various pieces we've purchased over the past year or so. The staff is great....in particular MELISSA N. She had great design ideas and really helped put together the room we needed help with. She was FANTASTIC to work with. Melissa is patient, insightful, focused, and a great listener !!....We HIGHLY recommend this place and will be back. One last tidbit. Had a delivery recently from them and get this...you know you're working WITH and FOR a top notch outfit when one of the co-owners of the company is part of the two person delivery team setting up and assembling pieces we ordered. Talk about SERVICE!. Thanks FOUR CORNERS and MOBILIA.

I…read morecalled the shop and was told by Betsy that was normal and that i could use a fabric shaver to remove the pilling and that I might have to do so three or four times and then it would stop. She sent me a fabric shaver which was nice. Well here we are a year and many shaves later and it continues to pill. it looks pretty terrible, like an old worn out couch - much worse than the (ripped) twenty year old couch we were replacing. I'm embarrassed to have friends over. when I do, we have to spend 30 minutes shaving the couch first, which is ridiculous. I hate to throw good money after bad but I suppose I will - we're planning to have the cushions recovered. It's not ideal since obviously they can't match the rest of the couch and that's not really the look I'm going for. But it's better than tossing it and starting over. I reached out to Four Corners recently to politely recommend they not sell this fabric (I feel bad for anyone else who might select it) and got no reply. So, I guess thats the kind of establishment this is. Disappointing - I prefer to shop independent but in this case it sure wasn't a good choice.

This place is amazing. They call themselves a family-owned and operated dealer of quality pre-owned…read morefurniture and accessories in Asheville, N.C. I call them a GOLDMINE. For those of us who want QUALITY pieces of furniture and not necessarily looking for the "vintage" look... this is THE place to go. The furniture here is sold on consignment, but these ladies know which pieces to keep and sell and which pieces to say no to. Brand names like Lee, Henredon, Baker, Thomasville, Lane and even Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel at amazing prices and terrific shape. Admittedly, some of the pieces here are only a few years old (like 3-5 years) and come from people who like to change out their furniture (and can afford to) every few years or so... other pieces look like they have come from estate sales, that are definitely older pieces but have been kept in extremely great shape. You won't find furniture from Ikea here nor will you find items from any of those discount furniture stores either. The furniture sold here can be classified as tasteful, very gently used and super clean. Oh, and the owners (Sheila and Dana) are absolutely WONDERFUL. They are knowledgeable, fair and have great taste. I kid you not, very often, their selection covers a WIDE/BROAD spectrum; you can furnish a formal dining room, formal living room, family great room, guest room, rental homes or summer homes, man cave or dorm room. From classic to contemporary, the furniture and furniture accessories come from quality materials. Heed this advice from someone who just moved to Asheville and did over three months of research (prior to moving) on where to buy transitional furniture. I found more than what I had hoped for in this store... I consider the items I purchased here not to be just transitional pieces, but permanent pieces to build on. Make sure to come by often as their inventory and showroom floor changes almost daily. It's so much fun to come and see what's new. Thanks to Sheila I have completed furnishing the first floor of our 3,400 sq. ft home. You know I'll be back for more to finish furnishing the basement and second floor for sure :) Come one, come all, but don't take the furniture (and accessories) meant for me :)

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. We were asked if we were looking for…read moresomething in particular and said we were interested in a couch and asked a few questions about it. The woman said she would check and then walked away and continued helping everyone else in the store but avoided us even as we stood by the couch we wanted to buy...was extremely awkward and very off putting. We won't be back to this place and I would go as far as to suggest if you're not a middle aged or elderly white woman then don't shop here because your business won't be appreciated or welcomed.

My dad looked up antique/resale places to visit while we were visiting Asheville and this one came…read moreup in his search. It is located off the main road into Asheville before you enter Biltmore Village, up on a hill. It has a large parking lot that it shares with the connected bookstore - plenty of spots for both. This is another place where it houses multiple stalls under one roof and you pay for the items you want at the front. Sometimes the vendors visit their stalls to rearrange things or to add new items and are usually happy to answer questions. You can find a mixture of items from new, vintage, and upcycled things. I didn't buy anything but I'd come back to shop and look around again.

After six or so visits to this place with consistent results, I've decided the following two…read morethings: 1) it's got phenomenal inventory, which moves fast so buy it if you like it. Hence, the two stars. But 2) be prepared to be treated like you smell bad, or are bad, or are just generally in the staff's way. (Not all of them, but def the majority) Hence, only two stars. It's such a shame. I literally steel myself for the openly crap attitude I always, always receive. I've bought something every single time I go in, so it's not like there's any reason at all for me to have to field this. I wear deodorant and normal clothing, I have no small children in tow, no dog in arms, nothing. It's inexplicable, but I could set my watch by it. If you'd like to find some pretty, often unusual, (though admittedly sometimes overpriced) things, go here! Just make sure you get something cool enough to wash the taste of the customer service interactions away when you look at it later -- because when you leave you're likely to feel like you just drove through Taco Bell on Poplar in Memphis at 2 am. Pretty sure that's where they found their customer service manual. If you make it past the front desk without turning into a shriveled block of ice, don't miss the fabulous large COVET booth just inside the first display area. That booth in particular has amazing finds at fair prices.

Many pieces have been restored/repainted. I like more modern colors so this was perfect for me. I selected a long narrow piece painted in a dark gray. I love it and it is perfect for my tv and decor items. Service at the store was wonderful; helpful but not pushy. I appreciate the gentleman helping me get my items into the car. We purchased the piece not knowing it was defective. The salesman commented,"We just discounted that desk, cause we are getting a huge shipment tomorrow." A statement that was misleading to the DEFECT, and if he had said, "We discounted this desk because it has a CRACK," we could of made a conscious decision with our purchase. I frequently have bought furniture from Nadeau, but will have to find a new store nor will I recommend them to any family. I am a teacher and have a budget for my classroom and made a horrible mistake by buying a BROKEN desk. I hate LIARS and teach children who have better morals than this store. So disappointed and Nadeau is not a representation of Asheville or the wonderful mountain people.

Thank you Haverty's!!
