Would give 3.5 if there were half stars. There's nothing wrong with Firehouse Subs, just nothing exceptional especially for the veggie options. They do have a veggie sub that's got grilled onions and peppers. The mushrooms are kind of soggy and slimy so I wish those were grilled or just fresh sliced white mushrooms. Ordered food through Uber Eats for pickup. I just moved here Monday and was planning to use my order as lunch and dinner while I go to work. Someone had taken my order. I asked the cook's & they remembered making it. But the manager would not remake or give me any food that I paid for! Said the owner is very strict and would be mad. He also said I could get refunded through uber, which is true. But still I'm in a time crunch, that was my lunch and dinner! Just because a customer took my order (that the workers are supposed to verify on my phone when I arrive) doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to get the food I paid for. I don't know why I keep coming back. The service is not good and 2/3 times they've messed up my order that we've taken to-go. And of course, hadn't realized it until we got home. Opened up the box ready to devour it only to find out it has tomatoes in it and no onions. Luckily my husband was able to eat. So it wasn't a complete waste and I ended up eating something else. I have a slight reaction to tomatoes so that's the reason why I asked for my sandwich w/o tomatoes. Not that I owe anyone an explanation. I had lunch there yesterday and what a great experience we had. The staff greeted us as we came in the door. We ordered a 6" Hook and Ladder and a 6" Italian. The flavor of the Italian was simply mouth watering. I made my spouse try it who always gets the Hook and Ladder and they agreed to the point she wanted me to swap 1/2 and I said no it was too good. The price of this place is getting out of hand for what you get. $25 for two "medium" subs, one bag of chips and one drink. I guess what makes it worse is there is hardly any meat on the sandwich. Really not loving the attitude of the middle aged gentleman with his nails done and tattoos. My sandwich was made very wrong and when I double checked my order he began walking up to multiple employees muttering. Not sure why doing you job and doing it correctly is such an issue apparently. This location is new and I'm not usually a sandwich person but I wanted to check them out. The location is conveniently located in the new Titus Landing mall. The interior is open and bright and it's very clean. Their sandwiches come in different sizes - small, medium and large. You can get any sub in any size which is nice. I chose the small pastrami Rueben sandwich which is a new sandwich. The sandwich itself was the size of a hamburger which was perfect for me since I wasn't terribly hungry. I upgraded to a combo with chips and drink which came out to be about $7.50. Not bad in my opinion. The sandwich was really good. It's one of their hot sandwiches and the temperature was perfect. The bread was nice and soft. If you're dining in they deliver your sandwich to you table side. They offer daily specials with various sandwiches. This location also offers an early bird special from 3pm-5pm which includes a small sandwich, chips and drink for $5. I definitely will be taking advantage of this in the future. read more

I've never seen a smaller sub in my life, we ordered 2 subs and the small veggie didn't have the right ingredients listed in the menu, but they obviously didn't care because it was a grab and go order. Used to love Firehouse but will never go again after this experience. Don't waste your time or money. I held a small hamburger bun next to my small sub which is basically 1/4 the size of a regular sub. So disappointed! read more

I have watched the Titusville FH grow to be one of the best places to grab a sandwich. The people are friendly and helpful. What can I say about Josh the manager? I accidentally hit the tip portion of their checkout and didn't mean to over pay. I had every intention of leaving a tip just not that amount. Firehouse subs is definitely one of my favorites...The rush at lunch can be a little hectic at times and a bit of a wait, but it's always worth it. Managers are always quick to fix mistakes too in the middle of it, and compensate for the wait. The customers are sometimes rude to employees despite all they do, but it's to be expected in this area as I've observed at various restaurants. I was very disappointed in the subs i ordered as Mr Submarine is right around the corner. There was nothing special about these subs except that i feel i paid for the bread and they forgot to put in the rest. The sub was so thin that i tasted bread and nothing else. They need to fill that sub up if they want to compete with Mr submarine who fills their subs with lots of deli meats and cheese and the lettuce and tomatoes are piled high.
