I like their food, but this location is FILTHY. Filthy floor, grimy hot sauce bar, disgusting bathrooms. Manager needs to be fired and replaced with someone who cares. Will go back and give another chance in a couple of months. read more

The food was not bad BUTTTT i got my food 30 minutes before the person I was with even though they ordered first. My soup was also freezing cold. Once they did get the food it was the wrong thing, it took them an extra 10 minutes to fix the mistake and still made it with onions even though we asked for no onions. By the way, the store was completely empty so this slowness is unbelievable. He was not offered a refund but definitely should have been. Me and my bf got here at 11:10 its now 11:35 and still no sandwich. we ordered it right when we got here and they are soow as molasses taking their sweet time. These guys make a great sub. Something about steamed meats and cheese. I ordered the hot pastrami and it was juicy.

Had this when I was in Orlando, Fl. Tastes just as good! It just recently opened a few days ago. I went in around lunchtime and the line was all the way to the door. I didn't wait in line that long (10 minutes at max). They made sure that they took care of their customers. I didn't like that they were out of their signature drink :o( I had the Club on a Sub to go. Just like any other Firehouse Subs, they had the sauces sitting out. I feel they need to put them at the end because you have to reach over people who are in the line. I also noticed another thing about the sauces.......depending on which restaurant you eat at, the sauces are a little different. Interesting....The Florida sauces were good and the Mississippi sauces are great as well. My sandwich was very delicious. It was put together very well and it wasn't sloppy. Word of advice, go before of after the lunch crowd if you don't wait to wait. Trust me, its worth the wait. Also, call in to make things even better. read more

Probably my new favorite place to get lunch in Oxford. I'm a huge fan of Newk's, Oby's and McAlister's but I find myself going to Firehouse more than any of them. I've been enough times to try nearly every sub on the menu and couldn't tell you which one I liked the most, they're all great. Plus the cherry limeade is very tasty. read more

I love going to new sub places, especially for tuna. However- its very plain. No extra taste to it. Bread is pretty thin, which doesn't bother me- better for those who are trying to watch their carb intake. Other than that- I've only been here once, I had the tuna and I am not a big fan. I very strongly do not recommend using the phone application to order from. It is not implemted well enough to ensure ease of use by both customer and employee. I had to wait 2 weeks to get my money back that was mistakingly and instantly withdrawn from my account. It was a small amount but it was still a hassle. The order was rung up at the wrong price and at the wrong time from what was entered into the app and confirmed by electronic recepit. When a request to cancel was made due to these errors and confirmed by phone twice they still failed to lift the charge. Even the corporate customer service could only suggest I file a dispute with my bank to get the refund and could not help beyond that. I'm glad the customer services communicated with me, but this was way to much of a pain for me to ever attempt again or recommend. read more

Oh the joys of pandemic. I ordered pick up from Firehouse today. When you arrive at the restaurant, there is a table right at the door where you can walk up and get your order. You can't go inside, it's physically impossible, the table blocks the door. This is great because currently the city has an order in place that any employee or customer INSIDE a business is required to wear a mask. I did not take a mask with me today because it was just pick up. The manager yelled at me for not having a mask on. Again, I would like to reiterate that I was outside, and the closest person to me was well over 20 feet away (including the manager). The manager who yelled at me was not even wearing her mask properly. She had one on, but it was covering part of her mouth and her chin, not even her nose. An employee came out to apologize once I got back in my car and explained that the city is fining managers $1,000 for customers and employees not wearing a mask inside businesses. If the city wants to impose some absurd fine, okay, that's their perogative. I'm glad to see they are using this as an opportunity to make money. That being said, people need to use some logic in following city ordinances. If I had gone INSIDE, I can see where there would be an issue. So PSA, if you absolutely must have what turned out to be a mediocre sandwich, wear a mask, since some of us don't understand the difference between inside and outside and can't behave like rational adults. I can't imagine her attitude will be much improved once this strange period of time is in the past, so I will not be returning to this establishment ever again. read more

I'm giving this place a 1 because there isn't a zero. Ordered my food, and after 35 minutes I had to ask for my food. 5 minutes later they brought it. I was the only person sitting in the dining area with my number on the table. Seems to me you would notice someone sitting there without food.
