Ordered thru app. When picked up, did not receive our drink or chips for combo. Upon calling and speaking with manager Mandy, she said it was our job to know that even though they did not offer her cup, or have any other conversation, that we are supposed to know that. We asked for refund for combo and she said "no". In addition, asked for normal captain sauce and did not receive. We are astonished at the indifference of Mandy for this issue. We are a consistent customer in rewards program for about ten years. Also donators to the foundation. So disappointed that the reaction to this concern was met with little or no regard to us as a customer. I am reaching out to Dan Redolphy, the owner to discuss his approach to this experience in hopes that he may appreciate the lack of integrity shown in this circumstance. read more

What happened to your meat, just ate a bbq sub and the meat is not thin tiny slices. It's not real anymore. I won't get it again.

Never been to a FH before and had idea what to expect. I ordered a steak-n-cheese sub with a side of Mac-n-cheese. The Mac was piping hot, but obviously a microwaved product, not fresh. It was bland, but not unpleasant. The sub, however, was a different experience altogether. Most steak and cheese subs are served hot, but this one was cold. It was more like a roast beef luncheon meat sandwich. The meat was cold to the touch. Flavor was ok, but this caught me off-guard as I expected and hot sandwich. The bread was lightly toasted on the inside and the cheese was warm and slightly melted, but cold meat cooked down any warmth the cheese carried. The meat was right from the fridge cold. This may be how they're served at FH. Having never been there, I just assumed so and didn't say anything. Don't think I'll be back there though. read more

Food was good. However do not try to order online. It'll hold your money and your order will not go through to their system so you'll end up having to order in person and paying in person. Also, the staff was nice expect one person was very abrasive and rude (I don't know her name but she seemed to be the shift lead) especially when the whole online ordering thing came about...I wasn't even arguing with her because when I ordered online it gave me a message that my card didn't go through then I tried a different card and the message told me "duplicate order try again in 5 minutes" so I went into the shop figuring my order may not have went through so I didn't argue with her when she told me the first order should be refunded but she was still rude. So between the rude employee and the whole online ordering messing up...I don't think it's worth going to this location again even if the sub was good. read more

The new firehouse is very good. The coke machine has the new freestyle machine with 300 flavors and the sandwiches are made well, correctly, and quickly. Service is always good. It's still a firehouse, not a gourmet or incredible experience so I'll keep it to 4 stars but I think for what they do I'm pretty impressed. Unlike the other one in Cape they never get the orders wrong which is a huge plus. read more

Wow, THE best sandwiches in town! Not kidding, i've tried a bunch of other sub shops and these guys are the best in my opinion. try the italian on white, medium is good size and fair price, the large is 2 meals. the store is clean, the staff is fast and friendly and they support fire fighters. next visit i'm trying the brisket sub! i'd attach a photo but these sammies are so good they dont stay around long. read more

First off, the brisket was incredibly fantastic - perfect bread, smoked brisket, cheese the sauce it couldn't be improved. The second sandwich was the firehouse hero. I had a four minute ride home and when I opened it up, the bottom bun was soggy if it wasn't for that would be a fabulous sandwich so maybe just order that one if you're going to eat it in the store. The next issue is the prices are quite a bit more than on the website. The two large sandwiches cost more than $30. that is a third more than Publix deli. Also they would like to be tipped and when you leave if you don't want to go to Cape Coral, that's too bad you're going to go to Cape Coral and try to figure out a U-turn that won't get you a ticket to get out of there. I will be going back for that sandwich. It was so good, the brisket one not the soggy one. read more
