I don't care if we are the only customers left , you wait until you close before cleaning the floor, it is rude and shows no regard for people that have paid to be there. In talking to the counter person, we found out that the restaurant has been open for three years. She also told us we need to return to try their KFC chicken, which we will most definitely do on our return to Edmonton. The sweet garlic Parmesan fries were addictive: slightly sticky sweet (but not too sweet - just enough to make you want to eat another bite), wonderfully garlicky, and perfectly Parmesan flavored. The bulgogi pasta was well done: nicely al dente and well seasoned. The truffle flavor was a bit mild for my taste but the overall flavor was still delicious. I don't know WHAT is in the salad dressing (did I get a hint of Asian pear?) but it was so refreshing and different from any dressing I've had before. Plus the salad greens, julienned beets, and radishes were super fresh. This is not your average gas station food. If you're ever in the area, please give this place a try! We waited a little uncomfortably long to be approached then found out it was the waitresses first day on the job and there was nobody there to assist her. She was waiting tables and making drinks from the extensive list of smoothies and coffees. About 20 minutes later, the manager or owner came rolling into the restaurant. We ordered the Kale Caesar and few different Avocado Toasts. My friends Caesar salad was meant to have tempeh on it but came out as basically greens with lemon juice squeezed on top for $17. The toasts were fine but nothing better than you could make at home. The salad was so disappointing that my friend actually kindly approached the owner/manager to let her know of the let down and asked about the tempeh. She was explained that they could no longer get tempeh from their supplier. Seemed like a pretty easy fix to reprint the paper menu. I think there is a market for these little plant based eateries and I want to see them succeed but this one was severely underwhelming.
