DO NOT consider a winter wedding here, and absolutely DO NOT expect transparency or flexibility with any hiccups in their formula. Also, they apparently blocked my account on Zola -- I can't find them in a search when I'm logged in anymore. Thankfully I was able to leave a review without being logged in, and am also sharing here. TLDR: they can't accommodate winter weddings, despite including those months as available on their website, and they aren't transparent about their inability to do so. They can only provide half a venue, with 40% decreased capacity, but still expect you to pay full price. I was appalled by their poor communication and business practices throughout our experience trying to book them for our January wedding. -- -- The issues started when booking a tour -- their availability is challenging if you work a day job, and we were also limited with my partner's 24/48 shifts for the city. But I rearranged my work to accommodate their schedule. The day of the tour we received a vague cancellation with 3 hours notice, saying they would work with our schedules to get a new tour on the calendar. They very much did NOT work with our schedules, declined several options I requested that would work without us making major concessions on our end, and only offered a small window later than their once-a-week evening slots. We were once again rearranging our schedule to work for theirs after their cancellation. When we finally had the tour, I'll admit it's a gorgeous venue. We were excited about booking there, but concerned about how they'd handle January events. Since their website includes Jan in their off-peak season rates, I figured they had a plan for accommodating cold weather (they have a tent for the yard, but it's insufficient for temps under 30 degrees and that's a heavy gamble for evenings in January). They didn't seem to have any ideas outside using that tent. They do have an upstairs to the venue that reflects the ground floor footprint, so I asked if they would include these in the base rate (they're usually an add-on expense) because we were losing space in the yard. They said they would "compromise" by including just one of the rooms, but would reduce capacity to only 70. We had been straightforward that our guest list was 80-90, and their website advertises up to 120 guests for a buffet or cocktail reception, which was our plan. I understand they don't do a ton of events in the winter, so I thought maybe they just didn't have a well-designed plan for colder months and we could find a way to work one out. But they refused to work with us to expand capacity beyond 70 guests AND made no concessions on price. I have no idea what they would have done had we moved forward and temperatures were too cold for a tent (leave our guests shivering? cut our guest list week-of? at the door?) -- I asked and and they couldn't answer. On top of it all, they made me feel like I was a problem for having these concerns. At the end of the day, I can't believe that a venue would expect clients to pay full price for half a venue and 40% decreased capacity, especially in a season they admit having little to no bookings. They clearly do not want business in their winter months, but will jerk you around for a month pretending they do. read more

Exceeded our (extremely high) expectations at every step, turn, and touchpoint! We worked with the AMAZING Teddy and Sarah and from the start knew we were in the right place, space and best of hands. First of all, Firehouse is charming as all HECK. This isn't your drab hotel ballroom where partition walls, lighting rigs and bunches and bunches of flowers can barely start to cover the lack of character. This space has personality and soul, every last inch. Classic Chicago neighborhood setting, we didn't want to leave the beautiful courtyard space. Everything about the venue is built to make your guests feel at home, comfortable and intimate to the party. Did we mention the firepole?! Best entry ever for a groom to make. I attended a wedding at Firehouse some 8 years back or so now and at that time couldn't imagine getting married but if I did, it would've been at a beautiful venue like that. Fast forward to 8 years later and we got married at Firehouse. My wife fell in love with the venue as soon as we pulled up. Its a 1920s firehouse and alll the beautiful, unique, and intricate details make the venue absolutely gorgeous. The details from outside, inside, and the rooms are beautiful. The location is amazing and everyone at the wedding loved the ambience. You don't even need much decor with how beautiful the space is. Highly recommend the 3 rooms upstairs. Now for the staff, Sarah and Teddy helped us up to the wedding and were organized and very communicative. They supported us throughout with decisions and made sure the day of went perfectly. I literally cannot think of a thing I would change because how smoothly their help made the event go. The staff who opened put out the decor and it was perfect. They were extremely caring and helpful. One Firehouse member had helped fix our polaroid cause a guest messed up putting in film and he was right on top of it. The staff was so caring and helpful! My husband and I recently got married at the Firehouse Chicago on 11/2/24. This was the first venue we toured and we fell in love instantly. Sarah and Teddy and the entire Firehouse team made wedding planning enjoyable and stress free so we could focus on enjoying our special day. The opening staff was friendly and took the initiative to set up our decor, programs, signage, floral, and seating with minimal direction from my end. What they put together was a beautiful setting on top of an already stunning venue. The closing staff organized all of our decor and belongings at the end of the night in record time making set up and shut down as painless as possible. In addition to the beautiful venue and wonderful staff, Firehouse gave us a list of recommended vendors including catering, photography, and DJ. This made wedding planning much easier and we ended up having food, music, and photos our guests are still raving about. Most importantly, as a gay couple, we were looking for an inclusive venue that was welcoming to all and the Firehouse delivered on all fronts. I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone looking to get married in Chicago. I cannot say enough positive things about the Firehouse. Even after I've had a few weeks to reflect, I can't think of a single thing I would have changed. They handled all of the setup and did a beautiful job. The staff was easy to communicate with and always kind and professional. Even the day of was stress free, and we were able to enjoy the day with our wedding party knowing that the staff had everything under control. Considering how much of the setup the staff did for us, the price of the venue felt like a bargain. Their preferred vendors were a dream to work with. From the moment my wife and I walked through the doors at Firehouse we were in love with the location! It was the tin roof ceiling, then the spiral staircase, the large sink-in tub, and all of the decor details that just had us swooning and ready to start planning our whimsy vintage themed wedding here. The staff seriously exceeded our expectations. Throughout the year that we planned our wedding they were consistently attentive and responsive to all of our inquiries. And when it came to the month coming up to our big day they were on it with our plan and had several back up plans for us. We were eternally grateful for this level of preparation and coordination between vendors when our Chicago Spring weather did a complete 180 5 days from our wedding. They worked diligently in the final days to rearrange our plans and pitched in to help our florist and caterers with a flip that was a drastic change to our original plans in order to make our wedding dreams come true. Day of they were amazing, starting from first thing in the morning until hours after our event was over they were working so hard making sure we had everything we needed. They were miracle workers packing up all the stuff our wedding party and guests left behind and making sure our family were sent off with everything. Days after the wedding they were still just as accommodating and responsive while we were getting ourselves back together and organizing pickups from vendors. We had our wedding here in mid August with about 50 guests -- perfect sized venue for a guest list this size. At dinner we used all 8 tables and spaced people out ~6 per table. There was rain in the weather report and it got dark and misty early in the morning, but then it mostly cleared up by noon and we were able to still have cocktail hour outside. The outside tent is included in the rental, so even if it rained we knew the venue would handle everything. Delightful and charming. Great space that you can get creative with. Well taken care of and clean. My only notes/ warning to others would be that responses via email were slow especially as our wedding approached. We didn't email much, but we would go a week without a reply and then we'd send another email to check in. The indoor spiral stairs to the upstairs are cute, but I (and others) found them difficult to climb especially in a floor length dress (my dress wasn't big or anything either). I recommend the candle package as it makes the place very cute. We skipped the bridal suite (~$500) and got a local 3 bedroom Airbnb for two nights instead. As seems to be the trend with wedding vendors, there were some inconsistencies like we saw photos where other weddings used sparklers, but in the contract it says no sparklers, so don't assume your experience/ wedding will be the same! We got married at Firehouse Chicago last weekend. It was an absolute dream. I am a perfectionist, and hard to please. I'm always thinking about what could go wrong and find it hard to trust others to take care of things. For my wedding I knew I had to find a venue that I trusted 100% so that I could enjoy the most important day of my life. Firehouse nailed it. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. Everything was executed flawlessly. The reputation Firehouse has, and why we chose to have our wedding here, is earned to the last detail. I felt like I was in a fairytale. Paige, the event director, made sure we got the wedding we wanted and we didn't lift a finger. The day was magical. The venue is so unique, it doesn't even need decor. We had flowers from Fab Flora (incredible) and table settings and signs from Fig (amazing) and that's all it needed. The space and the venue itself already has all the charm and unique pieces you need for a gorgeous wedding. Saved us a lot of money and time on DYI decorating or paying crazy prices for decor that isn't needed at this space. If you want vintage charm with some modern accents - this is the venue for you. Every person at our wedding could not get over the venue. It is both intimate and gives you room to breathe. It has indoor and outdoor spaces. It is renovated to be an event space with everything you need to pull off a comfortable and stylish event. I can't recommend the Firehouse enough. We live in the neighborhood and so it also spoke to us giving back to our community. Edgewater is a wonderful place to host people, with many more options for parking and still close to the trains for visitors to get downtown. Firehouse also has free parking for guests, which is a big bonus! We had rustic dining tables for dinner that Firehouse has included with the space, as well as bourbon barrels and hightops for outside. If you want to enjoy your wedding and save money on all the stuff that you usually have to rent to make a space work - Firehouse is the venue for you. I couldn't have imagined our wedding to be any more perfect. Every person at Firehouse is top notch and our guests are still texting us about how amazing it was one week later. I'm not even sure I can find the words to describe how amazing our wedding was due to Firehouse. The venue itself is just so so perfect. We didn't even need to do any decorating because it's already so beautiful. But beyond that, the coordinators are just the absolute best. Throughout the year of planning they were extremely responsive, patient, helpful, understanding, the list goes on. Leading up to our October wedding, we weren't sure how warm it would be but really wanted an outdoor ceremony. Teddy was quick to come up with a solution that allowed us our outdoor ceremony with an indoor cocktail hour. Sarah was unbelievably helpful the entire time, and leading our rehearsal she eased any nerves I may have had leading up to the big day. Then the day of, Charlotte and Turtle were just perfect. I can honestly say I had absolutely zero stress or worries on my wedding day. I can tend to feel like I need to be in control/micro manage everyone and on this day felt absolutely no need to do that. If you're looking for the perfect venue to get married at in Chicago, look no further. Everything about this place is magic; starting with the venue director, Paige. I credit her for keeping me sane throughout the wedding planning process. She is incredibly organized, has great communication skills, is loved and respected throughout the wedding vendor community in Chicago, and an overall great human being. Our florist had even told us after the wedding they had never had such a great experience with a venue director before. We got married a little over a month ago at Firehouse Chicago. Everything went off without a hitch (which I have no doubt is thanks to Paige.) So many guests had complimented the space saying they had never been to such a beautiful, romantic and unique location for a wedding. When we arrived the day of the wedding, I just stood in the main room admiring everything by myself for a good five minutes. To see how things had come together even better than I had imagined was such a beautiful feeling. For our wedding my husband and I wanted an intimate space where we could sit down and have a family meal and get married surround by our closest family and friends. It fit our family style long tables seated buffet service for 50 perfect! My CFD husband actually found the space and it couldn't have fit our needs any better. We hosted our wedding at Firehouse Chicago this past weekend and it was all that we dreamed it would be! First let me say that Michelle is amazing! I am a pretty needy customer and she listened to all of my concerns, took all of my requests and suggestions and responded to all of my calls, emails, face books and texts quickly and with answers of her own. Through all of this she always remained calm, upbeat, kind and friendly. In fact, by the end of the process she felt like an old friend! She always gave the impression that she wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams and that no request was too small or large to accommodate and for that we will be forever thankful! She not only represented our venue, but our caterer FIG and was able to juggle both elements flawlessly. Leading up to the big day, she was amazingly thorough about each and every detail and not only went into the big event with a plan, but with a back up in the event that the weather did not cooperate. Of course being Chicago, we were forced to go with plan B, but Michelle executed the change with all the finesse of a seasoned event professional so the guests were none the wise and we did not have to experience any stress over the change. Finally, let me just say that the venue itself is spectacular. Not only does it have outdoor space - which in Chicago, often comes at a premium - but the indoor space is beautiful. We really wanted a venue that did not need a lot of dressing up and that had a Chicago feel to it and the Firehouse had all this and more. I can't imagine having had my wedding anywhere other than Firehouse Chicago! It was truly a perfect night, and my vision came together better than I ever thought possible. Paige is an amazing venue director and she made the entire planning process so easy! She met with me multiple times, answered all of my questions, and helped to ease my worries about the big day. She truly cared about making sure everything went perfectly for us, and I had complete trust in her. We went with several vendors off Firehouse's preferred vendor list, which was wonderful because these people know the venue so well and can help calm your wedding planning nerves. This venue is so unique and different! We didn't want a "cookie cutter" banquet hall wedding and I'm so glad we decided to go with Firehouse. We had a cocktail style reception with Big Star catering from their food truck and everyone loved it! The venue was the perfect size for our 80 guests. We decorated with some greenery and floral, a few photos, and the Firehouse candle package - that's all you need! The venue is so beautiful on it's own, with it's creamy subway tile, reclaimed wood tables, and outdoor garden. It is truly a hidden gem in Chicago!! My husband and I celebrated our wedding at the Firehouse one month ago. The whole experience exceeded all our expectations! Our most important "must-haves" were a COOL venue and a great photographer. The Firehouse spoke to us from the start, and it wasn't difficult to decide it would be a good fit for our special day. We had just over 70 guests total and that seemed perfect for the venue's size. And the outdoor side yard is excellent for a cocktail hour. Definitely use that if you do an event here. Our guests still talk about how great, how unique, the venue is. Really, it's an unforgettable space for unforgettable events. A few other notes: the rustic touches (like the big barn doors, custom-built bar, etc.) are fantastic. Also, the room is perfect for doing some great mood lighting. We used the Firehouse's quaint collection of Edison bulb lights for our wedding. There are options for rentals, too--chairs, tents for the side yard, and vintage dishes for smaller events. Caterers will love the kitchen as they prepare food for guests. And, of course, the place is VERY photogenic. I only had one major drawback to the space. It was difficult to be super creative with floor plans, at least inside. The main room is long and skinny, meaning you don't have a lot of options for fitting dinner tables, high boys, and a dance floor into one space. We made it work, but be prepared to spend some time on that. Finally, I have to put in a good word for Michelle, the venue manager. What a great friend to have along the way. Her attention to detail, interest in us as a couple, excitement for our big day, logistical help day of, and willingness to meet at the Firehouse countless times to help us make measurements, work out floor plans, and everything else--ALL of this helped us feel like ours was a top priority wedding. Michelle cares about people, and she wants to make their weddings as personal, stress-free, and awesome as possible. She was one of the most valuable people to have during wedding planning. Do NOT underestimate how helpful she is! So thank you, Firehouse and Michelle! And for those looking for a creative, intimate, unique wedding space--check out the Firehouse! Firehouse Chicago is the worlds perfect wedding venue. The venue itself is unconventional, but not too specific to limit who feels a connection to it. Although the venue is a historic Firehouse, you don't need to have a connection to the profession to make this venue feel close to your heard. My husband and I felt like the venue spilled over with Chicago history and was a great place for a small-ish wedding. I wanted the opposite of a banquet wedding, and this did the trick. The extras provided by the venue were also a huge benefit. Not many venues can say, "oh and we have candles and tenting and specific lighting and signs and different styles of furniture and you can pick from so much more." When I went in for my walk through about a month before my big day, they gave me so many options for the styling. I felt like the whole venue was fit for our exact taste. There are so many different table set ups, bar options, and lounge furniture. I opted for the vintage table settings. So much charm throughout the long farm house tables. The staff. I cannot sing enough praises for Michelle, the venue coordinator. She handles all your needs. Lucky for me, I used FIG catering as well. This gave me the benefit of working with Michelle and Kati (catering manager). They both knew each others work styles and communicated so well amongst each other to make our day perfect. Michelle responds to emails promptly and professionally. And was super flexible with dates and times of when I picked up and dropped off decor and materials. In fact, when I dropped off my decor, another bride was setting hers up! The bride offered to leave some of the decorations for me to use! And of course, the day of, everything was perfect. I believe Michelle had everything to do with everything going so well. The price was so affordable compared to some of those pricey Chicago venues. and the location is charming as well. When my husband and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to avoid a traditional wedding venue or banquet hall. We wanted something intimate, interesting, and fun... Firehouse Chicago was the perfect wedding venue for us! We fell in love with the story of the building as part of Chicago's long history, but you don't have to be a history buff (or a firefighter) to appreciate the beauty of the space. The outdoor area was just renovated, and features the prettiest ivy wall in the world. The interior is open and ready for any setup imaginable, and lets you make a grand entrance via firepole! The upstairs was a great spot to relax before the ceremony, and there are a bunch of little areas to explore and enjoy. It was ideal for our 93 person wedding; just the right amount of room! Michelle, the venue manager, helped us through the entire process. From our initial questions, to the day of, we felt like we had a leader to guide us through the crazy world of planning a wedding. She worked with our various vendors to make sure the wedding day came together, was flexible with dropping off decorations and our rehearsal dinner, and helped us figure out the entire space during our final walk through. She made the day perfect and I owe her a billion hugs. A huge perk of the Firehouse is that it comes with a variety of furniture and accents that bring the space to life. We were able to select from different lighting, tables, chairs, sofas, and more to fill the interior for our cocktail style reception, and Michelle expertly arranged the outside patio/garden into collections of small seated areas for people to relax, all included in the rental price. We were married outside, with all the ceremony chairs rented from the venue (cutting down on outside rental delivery fees), and were able to rent their AV system for our simple music setup, which worked perfectly. Guests loved exploring the space, and commented throughout the night how much of a unique and beautiful venue it is. We couldn't agree more! And while a lot of this review was very "here's what they have", the thing that can't be written out properly is how much of a feeling of love you'll get from being there... my husband and I cannot be happier to have gotten married at the Firehouse, and will be looking back on photos and memories with such appreciation for the space forever! read more

We had our wedding at Firehouse and it was exactly what we had hoped for. The venue director, Paige, is a dream; from the first time we met with her we could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and that we would be in great hands - she was so on top of everything we didn't even need a wedding planner. Paige was responsive, down to earth, easy to work with, listened to our needs and provided strong guidance and advice. The staff did a flawless job on the wedding day and the venue looked amazing even though it was raining and we needed to use the tent outside for the cocktail hour. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because we liked their rain plan, and we actually ended up needing it. The tent was so pretty and strung with lights, it didn't even feel like a fall back rain option. We had about 70 people and got so much feedback from our guests about how unique and special our wedding felt. The upstairs areas for getting ready are super cute and we had quite a few people hanging out before the party and then used that space for the kiddos to hang out with a babysitter when they started to get tired. I attended an event here for a local rescue last weekend and I was completely blown away. First, the space is absolutely adorable. I could not stop gushing. It was small but not too small, very intimate. The decor was lovely, the yard was amazing. It was very seriously the perfect space - I can't begin to do justice with any description I write. Second, the manager Michelle. She was a peach. I was there to help set up and she was so kind and you could tell she truly loves the venue and takes pride in making everyone's night special. Third, the food and bar were phenomenal. I know it's provided by outside companies, but they're companies that Firehouse recommends. We had our wedding at the Firehouse and it couldn't have been more perfect!! Both the venue and Michelle are just the sweetest- we loved everything about it (and her)! Michelle really listened to us, even when our response was "we have no idea" and she asked all the right questions to get us thinking about all the details we hadn't even thought of yet. She was available any time we needed to answer questions, set up meetings with vendors or even provide moral support (aka calm down my mother)! We had about 90 guests for a cocktail style reception and got married onsite. We had originally planned on getting married outside in the garden but we ended up tenting and heating the garden and moving the ceremony inside, due to chilly weather. Michelle executed the "plan b" inside ceremony flawlessly, even though we really hadn't discussed it prior to that week, and both the inside and outside areas were popular with our guests all night. The onsite options for tables and seating arrangements are great- a perfect mix of comfy couches, high boys and sit-down farm tables. The beauty of this venue is that it's so pretty on its own, it barely needs any decorations. But Michelle worked with us on our tissue paper poms hanging from the ceiling (she hung for us), and she draped the window curtains beautifully and set up the tea lights.... We barely had to do anything in terms of décor and it looked fabulous!! She let us drop off anything we wanted to the day before, even before the rehearsal, so we had nearly everything we needed onsite before we arrived the next day- that was such a relief! On the day of, we had rented the bridal suite and it was so nice to be able to spend some down time with my family, in such a lovely setting, before the evening began. Michelle was always around if we needed, but not in our faces unless we wanted her to be! She executed the ceremony just as we discussed and was again available throughout the evening if we needed her, but I never saw her unless I sought her out! She was just the best- I wish we could do it all again because we loved everything so much. We wouldn't have changed a thing, and we can't recommend Firehouse Chicago highly enough!! read more

My husband and I were married at the FireHouse on May 9th. We had an incredible experience! Michelle the manager was there for us from planning to execution. We had our ceremony at 7:45 and then a cocktail and hors devours reception followed. It was a magical night. The FireHouse was constructed in 1905 and was the perfect venue for our shabby chic wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Firehouse -- we had our wedding there a few weeks ago and it was incredible. First, Firehouse has a really great list of vendors; they take care to select a range that works for people of different budgets. We chose to work with Big Star and do food trucks which was absolutely the BEST choice we could have made. On top of that, Paige and her team essentially replaced the need for a wedding coordinator for us; Paige is so skilled and attentive (and as a bonus, Big Star also REALLY knew that venue like the back of their hand) leading up to the wedding and on the day-of (down to her staff helping one of my guests spot-clean her dress with a Tide stick at one point during the reception haha). Also, we BARELY decorated -- we brought a minimal number of things to the venue, but because the building itself is so naturally gorgeous + the Firehouse provides all the furniture, it looked AMAZING having invested very little in decor. We also ended up choosing to have our ceremony indoors which turned out to be beautiful, so it's a great venue to work with in case there's any threat of rain (both the indoors and outdoors are lovely). Our photographer (who had never worked at this venue) was so "WOWed" by the space and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how cute and fun it was. Thank you Firehouse! read more

Booking the Firehouse is the #1 reason our wedding was such a major success. Paige alone is worth the entire rental fee. I'd get married in a cardboard box if Paige was orchestrating it. THE SPACE: The Firehouse has everything in one spot. It was incredibly convenient without compromising on anything. The ceremony space, the cocktail hour space, the bridal studio, the dance floor - everything was equally beautiful. The bridal prep studio looks GORGEOUS in photographs and is also such a fun treat for a bridal party to use to feel extra fancy on the wedding day. Our ceremony was initially going to be outside, but the weather was being wildly unpredictable so we moved it inside. The fact that the space is so flexible that this barely registered as an issue for the venue staff was deeply comforting. The indoor ceremony was gorgeous and well air-conditioned and, while we were initially disappointed that we wouldn't be doing the ceremony outside, we were blown away by how gorgeous the indoor space looked. They put up a tent outside for cocktail hour (so we got a little bit of outdoor time!) in what felt like minutes. The space is so flexible and beautiful for a wedding in the city and I can't recommend it enough. THE STAFF: Paige and her team are the best. Our vendors all lit up when we told them where our venue was because they love working with Paige. There was not a single issue with coordination of anything. We didn't even have to THINK about catering, music, alcohol, or floral logistics. Paige directed everyone quickly, efficiently, and accurately. As I mentioned earlier, our ceremony was moved inside. At first we were frustrated because it was (at that moment) a beautiful day with a low chance of rain. But lo and behold, as our ceremony started, so did the rain paired with the overwhelming humidity. Paige's ability to troubleshoot and potential issues in advance was mind-blowing. She held our hand through every second of the process and made our unorganized, disjointed ideas a cohesive event that our guests could not stop talking about. My wife and I had our wedding here Oct 2nd. It was the perfect place. We chose the candle and light package and it was the perfect setting. It was simple and gorgeous. The building has lots of charm. My wife and I with our wedding party loved the upstairs area and used it prior to the ceremony for touchups and to wait for all of the guests to arrive. The size of the venue was perfect for our ~50 person wedding. We loved that they offered a parking lot rental from the nearby school and the parking rental fee went back into the school programs. My husband and I were married at Firehouse Studios in Chicago in May of 2013, and it was a lovely, carefree, wonderful event. The setting was perfect for our short, simple ceremony followed by festive celebrations both inside the firehouse and in the green space outside. Selene and Tim's hospitality made all the difference and I can't imagine the day having gone better. I love love love The Firehouse! My husband and I looked at so many venues when we started planning our wedding. We knew we wanted something that felt unique and intimate (we were planning on 60-70 guests) and as soon as we saw the Firehouse we fell in love. We had our ceremony outside (we got really lucky with the weather last October) and the dinner and reception inside. The space is beautiful and charming and it was the perfect size, but the true gem of the Firehouse is Michelle the venue coordinator. She was such a huge help to us throughout the whole planning process both professionally and emotionally. She worked so hard to help us create our perfect day and went above and beyond to make it happen. We had some fun, crazy, non-traditional ideas for the wedding, but Michelle totally embraced them and really encouraged us to make the space our own. She and Alexis even set up all of our decorations with the caterers to assure that everything looked perfect and that we wouldn't have to worry about it day of and Alexis stayed on through the evening to make sure the reception was executed flawlessly. We had the greatest day and we got so many compliments from our friends and family about how much they loved the space and what a great time they had. I think the sign of a great wedding vendor is that you miss hanging out with them when the wedding is done, and I can definitely say that of the Firehouse and Michelle! My wife and I got married at the Firehouse this past June, and it was just perfect. Michelle, the event space coordinator, was great to work with and accommodating to our various requests. The space was beautiful on its own, and we only added a few things to get the look we were going for. The Firehouse even has furniture in the basement that you can use for your event. The Firehouse has a close working relationship with FIG, and they are an awesome company to work with too. And their food is locally sourced when possible and delicious! Lots of local bars nearby to take your after party to. Would definitely recommend the Firehouse for a wedding. read more
