I love this place! This is my home away from home when I need a good workout and a good place to decompress. I decided to try it out as it's close to my house. They have a new client special, which includes 4 classes for $24. I took some of their moreso stretch classes, but also flow too. All of their instructors are absolutely phenomenal. I am excited to continue with a package and advance in my yoga lifestyle! read more

Holly and the ladies/gentlemen of FireFly are really something special. I've been coming here since we moved to the area in 2013. If you love yoga and meeting other yogis, this is your place. This intimate studio offers an array of classes including traditional flow, prenatal and acro, to name a few. Holly is the owner and is just amazing. She dropped the class prices for any and all classses to $10 because she understands the impact of the economy and wants to help. I think what I love the most about this special place is that everyone is welcome. And I truly mean that. When you walk through the door you are greeted like they've known you for ages and there's something so special about feeling a sense of welcome. Another update?! Yup! Still 5 Stars, but worth mentioning their online options now! This review is relevant for during the coronavirus pandemic. I absolutely love Firefly Yoga Company for their incredible in-person classes (plus, their yoga teacher training is LIFE CHANGING), but I love that they've added daily Facebook Live streaming classes. These are inherently free (FB live is accessible by anyone with no paywall), but I believe in donating if you are able to while streaming their classes. The best way to find their online FB Live schedule is on their FB or Instagram pages as it changes weekly. The last class I "attended" (virtually) was a bird-themed class where the instructor (the fabulous Holly!) wove in a ton of poses that had avian-related names or helped you feel like you were taking flight! THIS is the kind of content I can get behind. And the best part? It still feels like you're practicing with a community because people are commenting and *hearting* the live video as you all are practicing. Check out one of their classes and consider DMing them to give a small class donation (they can provide you with a venmo to send it!). read more

So much fun! Stacy F. sent out a message suggesting bunny yoga at Firefly and I'm so glad she did (: It was $14 pp. A small price to pay to play with bunnies...I mean do yoga for an hour (: I've done yoga a few times before, but I must admit this time there wasn't much yoga done. Holly was an amazing teacher and didn't take it personal when we played with the bunnies. I'm really bad about stretching before and after working out. Now that I've started to use resistance bands I'm always super sore and the little yoga I did really helped with the pain. I'm going to start taking classes on a regular basis. After class we stuck around to play with the bunnies and even took some photos with them at the selfie station. There is an event going on 11/9/19 with the bunnies and other vendors (including food trucks) at the nook on Robinson. A wonderful studio with wonderful staff!! This location is out in Ocoee, which is a bit of a drive from our house, but well worth it!! They have a great space that just feels warm and inviting, but what really puts them over the top of the staff. There's a fair amount of parking as they share retail space with a movie theater and other shops. Once inside there is a real of cubes to store your stuff while you yoga. The staff is incredibly welcoming and very open to first timers all the way through experts. They push you to be your best while also telling you to listen to your body and ensure your not going overboard or hurting yourself. There is a lot of room so you can easily spread out and have a space even when it's very busy. Overall: A++ If you're a first time or expert, this is your yoga spot!!! read more

My son purchased the four pass class special for new students so I took a Yoga 101 class on a Friday morning with a nice group of people and a very welcoming instructor, Sarah. She asked us to indicate if we'd be okay with her assistance via hands on adjustments during our poses and I squealed "yay" and happily raised my hand while we were all face down in our opening child's poses-very polite way to allow folks the freedom to refuse without being judged. I that! Of course I love when people assist me in poses and I welcome "hands on" gentle presses on my shoulders and back that help me get the most from a class. The studio is clean, simple and I would have given it 5 stars but it was warm and the instructor said they leave the AC off over night but it's my firm belief that a space must be cool when a class starts because all the movement and spiritual energy generated in a class elevates the body temperature which is uncomfortable and distracting. I kept thinking how hot I was and how I wished I'd placed my mat near a vent or fan-hard to focus. The are well equipped with straps, mats, bolsters, blocks and blankets. The music was good and not too loud. I will definitely try some other classes here, I will just be sure to wear shorts and put ice in my water bottle. read more

I've been going to this studio for years, and with confidence, I can say this is certainly one of the best. Holly and her team have done an amazing job creating a beautiful community of beginner, intermediate, and advanced yogis who can collectively share a comfortable space together. Whether it's Holly bringing in a pet, a fellow yogi bringing her child along, or someone who may be completely new to the practice, all are welcomed here with open arms. Every instructor here has been lovely, and I'm a big fan of them asking us as a collective what we feel we need to work on in that moment, whether that be a gentle practice, a workout, stretch, you name it, it's available to you. I've been to this location a couple of times now, once to actually practice yoga and the others dropping off my wife so she could while I was on baby duty. The owner and staff here are incredibly friendly. It's a great studio, decent size, very well kept. They have their own private parking lot, which is convenient. The instructor the time that I went was awesome. She is very professional, very calming, and takes the time to help everybody do things correctly. She also offers alternative options/positions for people who can't do the more advanced techniques. I would really like to go back to this location to practice, but it's pretty far from where we live to go regularly. If they open up a studio closer to Orlando proper Sunday, it's definitely a place that we would go to regularly. read more

My husband and I attended the Sunday GIVE class as first timers to Firefly Yoga! We are not seasoned yogis and it was my husband's first time ever attending a yoga class so some of the poses were a little intimidating but Holly was a great instructor and helped us to ensure proper form for our poses! :D We found this facility through the Mind Body Connect app, it was one of the only yoga studios offering an affordable class on Easter! We were running a little late to the facility so I really appreciated Holly's thoughtful call to make sure we were coming. Everyone was super friendly and the class was very light hearted and welcoming! The overall experience was great! The class had a good mix of beginner and intermediate poses that could be supplemented with more experienced poses as the skills fit. I thoroughly enjoyed the stretching and my workout and it definitely was a work out! I would definitely recommend this yoga studio! read more

This is pretty much the only yoga studio in the area. It is wonderful! It is a good priced yoga studio with good instructors. The instructors are very knowledgable. The practice is well guided with lots of options for modifcation. They have a variety of classes and let you know of any changes to the schedule. This is a much needed addition to the area that is surpisingly lacking of any yoga studios. read more

I came in firefly Monday night and did two classes in a row. The first was flex and flow and the second was Yin. I was hoping to get a little bit more energy flowing in the first class. I would have also preferred instead of late 70s rock, more of a Yoga style music and a little louder. Also it seem like the music was coming out of the teacher's phone instead of a speaker which was a little weak. The Yin class was really good! We listened to beautiful classical instrumental music, and we had the lights out with candles lit all around the room. Cheryl has a very hypnotic voice which is nice for Yin. My favorite part of the studio is all the cubbies to put your purse, shoes, etc. And it's facing the inside of the studio so that it's not hidden behind a wall while you are in yoga class. I also admire the philosophy to comment or ask questions during the class. I will definitely do more classes! read more

I always look for a yoga ‍ studio when my husband & I travel to a new town or city. We are snowbirds and stay in our RV for 3 months. I took my first class on a Sunday. It was a $5 class w/ proceeds going to thyroid cancer. There were @ least 30 yogis in there all sweating, focused on our intention, & getting a great workout! Great class & great energy!!! I like the way the classes begins. The instructor asks if there are things we wanted or need to work on, shoulders, core, hip flexors etc. I've taken class w/ Holly & Melanie. Both were awesome read more

The studio is a good size and has all the support equipment needed from beginner to advanced. I originally started my practice here from another studio because they offered a pre-natal class. Molly does an amazing job leading the pre-natal practice. Thank you for having this option available and the care you have for your students! The other instructors are kind, knowledgable and helpful during practice as well. The price is very fair and they even offer a beginner price. Definitely give them a try! read more

We started at the Ocoee location recently, once we realized it was less than 10 minutes from our house. From the beginning we were welcomed warmly and even though we are still beginners, felt comfortable in every class (but definitely challenged!). We love the Thursday night class with Belinda and her amazing energy. My wife and I look forward to our yoga dates and we are happy we found such a welcoming studio so close to the house. read more

I absolutely loved taking class here! I have visited this studio twice already. The studio is small and intimate. The instructors are very welcoming and attentive. It was nice that they asked at the beginning of the class if there were any special requests, or poses you would like to avoid. They have equipment available for you to use as well (blocks, lotions, blankets). The music choices were perfect for the type of practice as well. Wonderful studio! read more

This place is awesome. I'm a complete beginner and there are lots of advanced people practicing here but one of the joys of yoga is you can easily modify poses and here at least the instructors keep an eye on everyone. I've learned a TON in a short time, the owner Holly and her instructors create a warm, welcoming, totally non judgmental space. If you've been thinking about trying yoga try Firefly!! read more

I was…read morehopeful this would become my yoga studio because the location is convenient and I love having a reason to go to downtown Winter Garden To be honest, I really didn't care for the classes I went to - both 9:30 am classes with same instructor. While I still consider myself a beginner, having only practiced yoga for a few months on a regular basis, the beginner class was way too easy for me, even with a very painful hip injury. While I appreciated all the instruction and information the instructor provided, in my opinion she took so much time explaining how to do each pose between each move that I never felt like I got in a "flow". There was a lot of start/stop throughout the class - so much that I found myself getting irritated and timing how long she talked before going into a new pose. Most of the time it was between 60-90 seconds of explanation while either sitting or standing before moving on. I tried the intermediate class thinking it would be different, but I felt it was pretty much the same. (Same instructor.) Maybe it's because I'm used to taking classes with different instructors in other cities before moving back here - I've taken Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, and Flex and Flow classes where the instructors cued the moves and provide instruction on how form should be while IN the poses. I've also taken restorative yoga as well as Yin and meditative yoga classes that were a much slower pace, but I never felt like I was just waiting for the next move. I'm accustomed to yoga classes being more "fluid" and I just felt like the constant start/stop made me frustrated and that I was not utilizing my time well. The studio itself was nice - nothing fancy: wood floors with exposed brick walls. They provide props like blocks, bolsters and blankets. There isn't a restroom actually in the studio. You have to walk out the back and down a hallway to what I assume is a shared restroom for several businesses in the building. The demographic for the morning class was mostly Myself, I am 51, but have been pretty active most my life. women in their 50-60's and they were of all fitness levels. Everyone was friendly and it seemed like many of them were friends. Some go out for coffee after class. It seemed like the other attendees in the classes were content, so maybe I just have different expectations based on my past yoga experiences. One of the owners did reach out to me to see how I did with my free week. I shared most of what's on this feedback with her and she said if I was looking for Vinyasa Flow type classes, their studio definitely wasn't for me. If you're a beginner with practicing yoga this studio may be a good fit for you. If you're someone like me, who has been for and active and attend group exercises classes often, it may not be a good fit. This was just my experience.

It may not be for everyone, as I wanted a studio that focused on slowly getting into alignment, not Gym Yoga or anything too outwardly athletic. They have Kettle-ball classes , nutrition plans and support as well as private lessons for those that need it. My only wish was it was a bigger space with more options to accommodate my crazy schedule.

HOT HOT HOT What…read moreLike the place name, power yoga... The session I joined wasn't so power to me. It was a hot stretch fest. The room is always warm and once you start going your sweat doesn't stop! This was a full 1 hr hot hot yoga stretching, loosen those muscles! I didn't like that so many people were packed into the space. I sat near the wall and wasn't able to stretch my arms out left or right. I didn't like the fact that the instructor wasn't a part of the class, instead she was a walking live CD. She walks and talks and if you don't get the pose, look at your neighbor. There is also no waiting on you. Environment MAKE SURE TO GO EARLY to secure a piece of real estate! Because the space is so small, if you go earlier you get to check-in and pick a spot. I assume they start turning people away once it is packed! There is no online check in to book your spot. They should get online check in.. would suck for someone to go and then be turned away.... I went at 8AM, there was plenty parking outside since it was early. The studio is very very very small. The check in area is where you leave all your items, shoes, keys, phones (they lock the door once classes starts). There are also showers in the back room where you can shower off your sweat! Niceness The instructor was nice. She explained everything to me. I signed my waiver. For any of these poses, if it gets too difficult, you could always just sit in child's pose and join back when ready. You can pause yourself but not the instructor. The show much go on Dollar $ Relatively reasonable. They have drop in classes. All drop in classes are $10 per session. On Sunday it is $8. If you don't have a map, no problem. There are mats available for you to use BUT IT ISN'T FREE! The mats are $1 rental. The first class they give you a complimentary mat (yay!) Yes? Not for me. I don't like crowded place and also I don't like the fact that the instructor is just talking, she isn't helping anyone with the moves. If you don't know the pose, peek at your neighbor and hope they know what they are doing. (fingers crossed) #WendyWanders

The way I was sweating during the classes I took (cycling, rowing, pilates, barre) was insane but also impressive. The classes are taught via instructional videos and are timed. I also like that there is a small workout area with a bunch of equipment in the back to add a little extra to your workout if you wish. I loved the battle ropes and kettle bells so I did hang back and spend some quality time there. The facility isnt huge, but thats a plus. In each session I somehow have managed to never be in there with anyone else so again despite the size it was ever super crowded and you can go after hours so its great for people with uncommon schedules or night owls/early birds. They offer your first session free if you're curious about the class styles and want to sample before you commit.

Gift cards can only be used on site and can not be redeemed online. (I was also able to pay for parking at Universal with one of the gift cards.) Lockers are, of course, available for rent. It was 7 of us so we got a family locker. That didn't work. We had to rent another family locker to hold all our stuff. The family lockers are not big enough if you have multiple bags. Some of the staff are cool. We encountered one team member who greeted almost everyone in the Kopiko Wai Winding River (lazy river). Every time we winded back around to where he sat overlooking and safeguarding the river he spoke. His attitude was hospitable and refreshing.
