Best indoor range. The people make the difference. Knowledgeable and willing to share some of that knowledge. You feel like family.

Knowledgeable workers and very friendly. My brother and I brought our pistols and I brought my .223AR rifle. The lanes were kept clean and target clip mechanism worked great. Very good selection in shop of guns and gun accessories (silencers, flashlights, optic sights, uppers, holsters, ect.). Lots of historic rifles. They have a online system in the shop that allows you to fill out paperwork and purchase a silencer within 24hr. Highly recommend range/gun store. read more

I have always been very well treated each and every time that I have been to The Gun Room. They treat everyone respectfully. I went there a few days before Christmas looking to purchase a specific gun. I had researched and knew what I was willing to pay. I asked about it and was quickly told that I would be better off ordering it online and letting them handle the transfer. Frankly, I was a bit surprised. But I shouldn't have been. They are just good people. They offer the most economical transfer in Wilson County. The gun came in before Christmas and all is well. Don't hesitate to go there and ask any question that you wish. friendly staff. clean place. the issue I had was trying to justify the price. the membership is super expensive. The guys in here are really cool, will tell you what you need to know about this gun or that gun. Selection isn't bad, but not the best either. Bought my first gun here a Ruger LCP 380. Love it. The Range though, not a "huge" fan of the range because I always sweat in there, glad you can turn a fan on when you get inside. I'm hot natured, and I think the temp is set just a little too high in there. Also, they don't have sound proofing material in there, so when someone is shooting next to you, it's really loud. read more

I enjoy going to this range. The temperature on the lanes is a little on the hot side during the summer. Each lane has a fan, which helps, but bring something to wipe the sweat out of your eyes. It's great during cooler days. The staff is friendly and they try to accommodate your needs. They have about 9 or 10 lanes but I have never had to wait for a lane to open. I have been shooting there off and on for about a year and will continue to be a patron. read more

There's no Glock-bashing gun store "operator" to tell you why you should buy a 1911 like he has on.... super nice staff...these guys used to make cabinets..when the economy tanked, they remodeled and retro-fitted the building and turned it into a gun range. read more

Great shooting range. Staff is very friendly and polite. It is a smaller range, I think, 10 bays. I like how the price covers your whole day. So if you want to shoot, take a break, then come back, you don't have to pay again. If it's your first time you'll need to fill out a piece a paper(basic info) and watch a 5 min. Safety video. Targets are 1.50 each. I thought the gun selection was decent considering it's not a big range. I'll definitely go back! read more

Great staff here. They're friendly, helpful, and are never too busy to shout "Thank you!" when you're walking out the door. They're also happy to give you advice if you ask for it. I come here often with my wife and my youngest son and both of them are comfortable here, too. I live in Nashville where there are plenty of other ranges, but I don't like any of them as much as I like this one. Ten lanes, basic target controls, well-ventilated with fans blowing. Small selection of firearms for sale, but at very good prices. The set-up is nice, but basic. The people are why you'll want to come back. read more

My wife and I came in tonight at 6:22 and noticed the range lights were off. I asked the lady at the counter if they were still open to shoot I got 'not technically' but the hours of operation is until 7. One of the gentlemen said 'yeah we usually stop people from going in 30 min prior to closing and well they've already cleaned the range' again hours of operation are until 7. I drove from Nashville out there just to shoot before dinner. But yeah. Highly disappointed. read more

This is a nice range. I had never been there before and I'm always a little wary about indoor ranges. It's hard to find a good indoor range but The Gun Room is right up there with some of the best. Very clean, spacious lanes with shelving below the counter to store your weapons/ammo while shooting. I was with a few people who have never shot before and the staff here was very informative. The pricing was average for lane rental and shooting. 1 of my friends paid $20 extra I think it was and that allowed him to rent a gun from them to shoot. The cool thing is you can swap it out when finished and try another gun. All you had to do was buy the ammo from them. I have all of my own stuff so I'm not sure what their ammo pricing is like. I just know we had a damn good time and they guys working answered every question we had. Again, this is one of the better indoor ranges around. You should definitely go check it out. There's a couple other ranges closer to me but I will drive the extra 15 minutes from now on. That's how much I liked it. read more

Great indoor range. Clean, equipment all works well, staff helpful, polite and always available when in the store. Each lane is well lit and ventilation is good. Very safe environment with a safety talk the first time customer. read more
