Their beef patties in the double cheeseburger were surprisingly good though - juicy and bursting with flavor. Definitely did not expect that! The puttanesca had a very light flavor. It seemed underwhelming at first, but tasted better once you get used to the flavor. We decided to get a table outside to enjoy Tagaytay's chilly weather. The ambiance was great but the customer service was not. Our server had poor knowledge on the dishes that they offer. It was quite annoying that she had to go to the kitchen every time we had a question about their menu.

I had dinner with the family on this particular spot last night and I was really disappointed with…read morethe food along with the services. I've always had an open mind dining in the Philippines because I have tasted amazing food from all sorts of dining places...From top rated restaurants all the way to Turo-Turo joints. Mind you that I've never really posted feedbacks to places I've visited in the Philippines, but sometimes there are moments that you are consciously obligated to say something. Okay...let me comment about the food. Before ordering, I asked the waitress what is the difference between organic steak and the regular steak, and I was told that the only difference is the the organic meat/steak came from a cow that was fed with selective feeds (wagyu style...NOT!). I ordered the rib-eye steak(regular) and the meat was a bit tough. I was still patiently chewing every sliced piece. Then I asked the waiter for a steak knife, but can only offer a butter knife (disappointment #1). Disappointment #2: Before entering the place I noticed majority of the staff (waiter and waitresses alike) was sitting on one of the main table while there were customers dining right next to them. I guess this is not a big deal, but what if there were foreign customers? Will they act the same? I might be going off tandem a little bit...but it still look unprofessional. Last...disappointment #3: From the looks of it, the establishment is fairly new and I asked my brother when they opened. He said last year. I was really intrigued that a modern restaurant on a prime spot had difficulties with electronic payment transaction (credit card, etc.). The staff mentioned it about three times during our visit. That meant we had to pay cash. Not accommodating at all. What if the customers did not get a chance to retrieve some good old cash? Anyway...overall I was really disappointed with the restaurant's food and service. Keep in mind, if you are visiting, there are plethora of restaurants in Tagaytay...tons of good restaurants. I personally will not go back to this particular one , nor I will be recommending it to anyone. Respectfully, Grumpy Disappointed Dude (GDD)

The steak itself is prepared good but I asked for medium and it was over cooked to medium well. Tonight I took a take away rib eye and it was cooked to perfection... The venue itself is nice. There is outside seating and a small bar. The menu is just like Texas road house. The cuts of meat are USDA. I was surprised because most of Asia uses Austria. Outside in the seating area there is a pool but I think it's for hotel guest only. Plenty of tables outside and inside Definitely a good spot to get a steak!

DINING OUT DURING A PANDEMIC:…read more We've been extending our wedding anniversary celebration and decided to try the breakfast here. Things don't always turn out the way that you plan, but that's not always bad. Our temps were scanned at the front door of the hotel; face masks and shields are mandatory. Hubby signed us in, then a lovely masked cowgirl/server opened the door to the restaurant and greeted us. I chose a table outside, requesting the ceiling fan to be turned on. We took our time perusing the menu and decided against breakfast, instead we ordered: - Cafe mocha - made from Brazilian coffee beans. This was good. - Corn Fritters made fresh and covered in powdered sugar. Always a winner YUM! - Crab cakes - Oh my! This was delish! Made with fresh crab with a light crisp exterior topped with mango relish - New York Nachos topped with sirloin chunks, chili con carne, pico de gallo, cheese and jalapeños. Comes with sour cream and guacamole (not up to the standard of California avocados) - I make my own chili con carne from scratch, so I wasn't fond of their version, but hubby ate it up! - Blackened Chicken sandwich with smoked bacon - delicious soft bun, thick cut bacon, it had good flavor. American size portions (not tiny Filipino size) with prices that are reasonable, considering the high quality of their ingredients. Also don't be afraid to make requests: they have corn fritters and a cafe mocha that aren't not on the menu. Servers actually come by and asked "How's your food?", this is the first time I've ever heard anyone here in the Philippines ask that! If you need anything, you just need to give the servers a knowing glance, and they'll quickly come. They're always close by keeping an eye out for you. FYI: the standard around the Philippines is that the servers won't check in on you unless you need them. That's why many places have call buttons, or the staff stand around waiting for you to call them. What a beautiful place for a relaxing poolside meal, listening to Kenny G working his magic on the saxophone, and the soothing sound of the rain in the background: I've found foodie heaven.

I love their concept and i love the feel of the restaurant, very "earthy" and dim-lighted. Their green juice tastes amazing as well. Have been here more than 3x already! I recommend trying their food, just don't order steak ;-)

The prices are not bad considering Commercenter's line-up for higher than average. The place is dim- black walls make it a lot darker. Poor ventilation, I could smell damp rags upon entering. With a swollen staff on an easy afternoon, staff wasn't even attentive to diners and they were chatting away with one another. We got a wood fired NY strip steak ordered medium and a single cheeseburger in a brioche bun. The steak came out rare- with gummy center. This came together with... Pandesal? Probably the only decent thing they served. We asked them to serve us the plate medium and they most likely reheated it in the same dish. Meanwhile, the burger was over seasoned and underwhelming- patty was crumbly/soggy in the middle.
