It's really one of those special places in this world that just seems to function outside the rigors of daily life. The space itself is warm and inviting, with a come as you are attitude that appeals to all skill sets, from beginner to advanced. The care and attention Rob gives to students is at the heart of what makes this an amazing studio. His explanations of how to get in and especially out of various poses are easy to follow, protecting everyone from injury. He is also particularly good at modifying postures and encouraging you to listen to your own body, responding to that day's situation. I signed up for the unlimited session (a smoking good deal!) so I had the opportunity to take classes at a bunch of different levels. This meant I could challenge myself in vigorous midweek and wind down on the weekend, Plus, it let me see Rob working with people in totally different physical and mental situations. In each instance he was caring, insightful, and helpful, perfectly blending the mental and physical aspects of yoga that are what make it an enjoyable and effective practice. My only complaint about Point Yoga is that I can't transfer it to the Portland, OR area I now live in! In struggling to try to find an equivalent place in my hometown, it's really reaffirmed how truly unique Point Yoga is.

Volunteers leave water dishes and gallons of water so pups can enjoy a fresh drink. There are toys galore; left for you to play fetch. Follow one of the many paths with your four legged friend. Get tired, no worries! Just relax on one of the many benches. Think your pup is Top Dog? Try the Dog Agility course. There are tunnels to choose from, a teeter board, weave poles, dogwalk, ladder and more! There is even a smaller fenced in area for the smaller pups who don't want to run with the Big Dogs. When your dogs are tired you can relax out of the sun in one of the many seats in the Pavilion. This is all made possible by the volunteers and donors whose names are listed on a sponsor board. When you visit leave only footprints, not doggie donations...puppy poop bags and refuse containers are plentifully provided. This review was actually written by my Boxer Kids Kelsey and Woodson. Unfortunately, because this dog park is so hilly, there are many places where your dog will be out of sight. That being said, every other aspect of this dog park is great. It is large and there are trees surrounding the back half of the park. Because it is hilly, my dog tires himself out! He loves running up and down the hills and checking out the woods for wildlife. All of the owners I have met here seem to be responsible about their dogs and cleaning up after them. Also, this dog park is set well off any busy roads and it has a parking area dedicated to it. I do enjoy going to this dog park(as does my dog), however it is not my first choice.

The golf course challenges you each time, but on our last visit (and I do mean last visit) the greens had pock marks making putting impossible. At the turn, when I brought this up to the employee, she said it wasn't her job to do the maintenance. I asked if we could get money back or 9 holes, she said no and once again it wasn't her problem. I like the course, but terrible customer service drops the rating; and stops me from coming back.
