This was are third experience with Fire Dawgs Junk Removal, Indianapolis Station. And again the job was done professionally and quickly with a complete clean-up. Matt was very polite and explained how the metal was recycled and items like and old workable case sewing machine would go to good will. Matt gave a quote range and the final cost was less than quoted. That's a pleasant surprise today. I am so impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of these guys. Dave (crew chief) texted their upcoming arrival and then he and Elijah arrived right on schedule. They assessed the pieces of furniture they were to move and confirmed the quote. I really wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, because their workers were very nice when I spoke with them. But they repeatedly left broken glass on our sidewalk where our toddler plays and even in the street. I called in three different occasions and each time was told that the broken glass would be removed. I finally swept the glass off the sidewalk, so our daughter could play there again, but much of the glass is still in the street. It's something we talk about daily. I've no doubt these are good guys with a noble mission, but when really, how hard is it to clean up after yourselves when asked multiple times to do so. read more

We are so so happy with the work Fire Dawgs did for us today! We bought a house with a rotting deck and a hot tub that has been broken for over 30 years and have been desperate to get rid of them - we contacted a few other vendors but none of them seemed super confident. Thankfully, Fire Dawgs came out, looked around, gave us an estimate, and came back the next day to take care of it. The guys who came out were so professional and hard working. Fire Dawgs are the folks you need to call for hauling away your stuff. The whole process was so easy. They are very responsive, professional and quick - I mean quick with taking down big items like our outdoor shed and kids fort and swing set. An old refrigerator, basketball goal, shed and the fort/swings took several hours and a few truck loads to completely demo and haul away. The price was right too. I had another quote from a competitor and it was $500 higher. We would use Fire Dawgs again for other jobs. read more

My neighbors recently moved out of their home and had to transition quickly to their next city and job. They left me in charge of getting rid of all the junk they left behind. Lol. I called Fire Dawgs and they were able to come to give me an estimate on the day I called, which is unbelievable. And their policy is to come and give an estimate and if you don't accept it, they just leave no strings attached. If you accept the estimate, they will take care of the removal during that visit. Workers, once they arrived, were great. Being rescheduled two times, changing work and meetings to drive an hour back to meet them only to be ignored for three hours before finally getting a call saying they were closed and had to reschedule again is a joke. As a veteran I always support vet businesses but this one unfortunately needs to be avoided. As an aside, was told would get a discount for my problems...and did not. Fire Dawgs did a great job of removing multiple, large items from my house that were left there by the previous owner, including: a nasty non-functioning hot tub pooled with fetid water, old deteriorating kitchen cabinets left in the basement, old TV, broken washer & dryer, and other odds and ends. I thought the price quote was very reasonable, especially for removing the gross enormous hot tub...the bane of my existence. I completed the online quote request via text and attached photos. I quickly received a call back to schedule the site coordinator to check out the items/space, got a finalized quote, and the clean-up job was scheduled within the week. On the day of the removal, two (2) friendly workers took care of the entire load all on their own in about a hour. They got splashed by smelly hot tub "water" and covered with dust, but didn't complain and cleaned up after themselves. I found my Fire Dawgs experience to be efficient, friendly, and cost-effective. They are a bit more modernized communication-wise then other maintenance or contract services I've utilized, keeping everyone in the loop over appointments and documentation/receipts via text/email. I contacted the Indianapolis office to haul away an old fence that I had taken down. It was easy to schedule a convenient date and they provided a price range. I received a text of the scheduled date and time as well as an update when they were enroute. They were polite and did a great job loading everything up efficiently. With space left on the truck, I asked if we could add some yard waste. They were happy to oblige. My final price was fair- it was within the estimate range and below the high end. They were able to get to us on short notice and took my son's bedroom furniture that was heavy and more than we wanted to deal with. The did a quick job - in and out. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they did leave some trash behind, maybe that's not in job description but was surprised nonetheless that there was some trash. The company was very accommodating with our multiple rescheduling issues. The team was very quick and arrived promptly. The only "issue" is the way that the charges occur. They charge by amount of truck bed space used. This isn't an issue. However, when the items are just thrown in the back usable space isn't utilized to the fullest extent. I was charged for 7/8 used and it likely would have been at most 1/2 if the items were better put in the truck. read more

I had the best experience with Fire Dawgs. We bought new furniture and needed our old furniture hauled away and a loveseat moved into an upstairs bedroom. Fire Dawgs was able to come out the afternoon before the new furniture was scheduled for delivery, and the team was wonderful. I was honestly not sure whether the loveseat would fit through the bedroom door (I measured, and it looked like a close call), but the crew maneuvered it and got it through no problem. They loaded up the remaining furniture in no time at all. I was expecting getting rid of the old furniture to be a bit of an ordeal, but it couldn't have gone any more smoothly.
