The apartments are old and outdated plus they have mold. The apartment manager is so rude and is outright nosey. Avoid these apartments at all costs because once you have bed bugs from these apartments you'll carry them on you to work giving the bugs to your coworkers, you'll carry them on you to your family and friends homes giving them bugs, and you'll carry the bugs with you where ever you move next. Fact: Bed bugs don't always leave bit marks on a person so don't let the apartment manager manipulate you. Don't believe me...Google Bed Bugs and do the research!

If you are looking for comfort, community and peace of mind, the Fairway truly stands out. This is more than just a place to live--it's a welcoming community where seniors can enjoy life to the fullest. Residents love the variety of activities that keep life engaging and social. Whether it's gathering around the firepits on a cool evening, enjoying a barbecue with neighbors, or relaxing by the swimming pool, there is always something to look forward to. Last Christmas, we reserved a very expansive clubhouse activity center for a family gathering. It was decorated beautifully! It welcomed us with a fabulous Christmas tree and decorations galore! This center has a full kitchen, large fireplace with comfortable seating, a dining table, TV, pool table and the list goes on. The Fairway's exceptional management team had everything ready for us! They are always prompt to respond to all our needs. Great amenities. A vibrant community. Outstanding management. Really--what could be better than that?

But due to the horrible customer service of the staff, I would not recommend this place. I will tell the same thing to everyone that I know who is looking for an apartment.

The office building including the lounging area, the indoor gym, and the pool are kept in immaculate conditions, rain or shine. I had my clashes with Northplace but decided to give the place 4 stars for one major reason, and that is the amazing Maintenance Team. I have rented in various apartments in NYC, Chicago, and OC of SoCal. No place comes close to the courteousness and professionalism of the folks at Northplace. Their empathy and apologies are sincere, and they really know how to deliver the best resolution for problems at your unit. If you happen to rent at Northplace and run into trouble, my only suggestion is to be patient but persistent. They mean no intentional inconvenience. Best of luck.

Stating also that I had to follow the rules and not being specific about what rules that I am violating. Nor even giving a list of rules. My lease was good until January. Said we could stay if we signed a new lease. He barged into my backyard weed whacked the grass as well as my daughter-in-law's garden and half of my raspberry bushes that I've had there for 8 years. And then he started eating my raspberries and my blueberries. To me that is stealing food from my grandchildren's mouth. And he tells me that the old owners advised him not to hire me. The old owners have been my landlord's for 15 years as I was a tenant on another property before I went to take care of my father. And the old owners have been my friends for almost 20 years. They harassed me into giving a 30 day notice under duress because my daughter-in-law's signature was not on the lease and they said they had to raise the rent to put her own.
