If you are looking for comfort, community and peace of mind, the Fairway truly stands out. This is more than just a place to live--it's a welcoming community where seniors can enjoy life to the fullest. Residents love the variety of activities that keep life engaging and social. Whether it's gathering around the firepits on a cool evening, enjoying a barbecue with neighbors, or relaxing by the swimming pool, there is always something to look forward to. Last Christmas, we reserved a very expansive clubhouse activity center for a family gathering. It was decorated beautifully! It welcomed us with a fabulous Christmas tree and decorations galore! This center has a full kitchen, large fireplace with comfortable seating, a dining table, TV, pool table and the list goes on. The Fairway's exceptional management team had everything ready for us! They are always prompt to respond to all our needs. Great amenities. A vibrant community. Outstanding management. Really--what could be better than that?

But due to the horrible customer service of the staff, I would not recommend this place. I will tell the same thing to everyone that I know who is looking for an apartment.

The office building including the lounging area, the indoor gym, and the pool are kept in immaculate conditions, rain or shine. I had my clashes with Northplace but decided to give the place 4 stars for one major reason, and that is the amazing Maintenance Team. I have rented in various apartments in NYC, Chicago, and OC of SoCal. No place comes close to the courteousness and professionalism of the folks at Northplace. Their empathy and apologies are sincere, and they really know how to deliver the best resolution for problems at your unit. If you happen to rent at Northplace and run into trouble, my only suggestion is to be patient but persistent. They mean no intentional inconvenience. Best of luck.

We rented a third story apartment in December, and moved in right after Christmas. We moved out in…read morethe first half of March. We loved the large apartment. However the management here is awful. They allow dogs in the apartment complex, so we got a corgi. If you have a dog, you know that they will bark when someone knocks on the door, they need to go out, or are wanting to play Ect. So when we got a complaint about noise, we worked on it. We never left him alone. We both work from home, and if we needed to go to the store, he came with us. We got a mussel for him, and felt horrible that if he just wanted to play we had to put it on him, in fear it would bother the neighbors. There are others dog owners in the building also by the way. They are owned by some very nice people. Every time we left our apartment they would bark and carry on, but we understand that is normal and never complained about this very normal behavior. We then started getting complaints about other noise. Like fighting, and loud music, and dropping things on the floor. Which was not happening. It's very hard to prove that you are not making noise, it basically your word vs theirs. So we went to the office and talked to Howard. We had all agreed that he would tell anyone complaining about noise to come knock on our door, so we would know right then what we were doing, so we could figure out what the noises were they were hearing. No one ever knocked on our door.. Yet we still got more complaints and desist notices on our door. The woman that lived below us would pound on the ceiling when we were just sitting on the sofa working on or computers at 7pm. We had no music on, no tv and the dog was sleeping. We went and knocked on her door, and she didn't answer. We also contacted the office a few times about the person that parks next to us in the assigned parking.( which happens to also be the woman below us) she would park her car so close, I couldn't get in or out of my car. I will post a picture on here if it if I can. We were told then, that they can't do anything about it until we left a note on her car, and if she doesn't stop they would talk to her. It didn't stop after leaving a note. So we contacted them again... We were told they couldn't do anything. We were told that we had to knock on her door and have her mover her car. And of course no answer. We had to pay a couple thousand dollars to move out before our lease was up. We were tired of living life in fear of everything we did would bother the woman below us. I was so disgusted with those people, I didn't even do a walk through when we moved out. I didn't want to even see their faces again. They treated us like outcasts. We never felt at home.

She's never there, doesn't keep appointments, and doesn't respond to calls or email. The ONE response we did receive was rude, insulting, and inaccurate! The loud neighbours in question were an older couple, one half of which was head of maintenance who uses an alias, has been nailed for burglary, and something much worse I won't mention here. Oh yes, and their frequent domestic disputes were lots of fun--nearly had to call the police. Positives: Beautiful nature park nearby, excellent espresso at the Great Scot cart (Erik is the best).

Wilsonville is just big enough to have most things you need nearby without having to deal with the freeway. The apartments have a lot of trees next to the building which I like. They provide some nice shade in the summer as well as some privacy. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I haven't had any major issues they've needed to help me with. I did get an Amazon package that didn't show up and the office staff went way out of their way to help me get the issue resolved even though it wasn't their doing. I called once about an outside light burned out and it was fixed within the hour. The Bad: This complex is owned and operated by CTL Management which also owns the complex I just moved out of. I don't care much for CTL due to my previous experiences with them so was hesitant to rent here. There are quite a few families that live here with kids which can occasionally be noisy. Wilsonville road is next to the complex so you get some traffic noise during the day but it seems to calm down later in the evenings. So as far as I'm concerned, this seems to be a decent place to live.
