We started with the shrimp appetizer which just melted in our mouths, the flavors were well orchestrated and a definite favorite. We then had the tagliatelle which was beyond perfection, the sauce was well balanced and smooth. The pasta was perfectly al dente! We also had the pork chop with homemade sausage and cannellini purée and broccoli. When I say this was beyond heavenly I mean it. The pork is from Calabria region famous for their black pigs and the chop was prepared to perfection. I would order this dish on repeat on a weekly basis. We complained to the management about the high-salt level in our entrée, and they simply blamed the fact on the paremsan cheese. To be fair, they exchange our first entree for something else. All of the food needed salt and seasoning to begin with, the only thing that was perfectly seasoned was the homemade butter for the bread. After about 2 hours, our food comes out and it is severely undercooked. We all chose the truffle macaroni plate. My friend who ordered gluten free food could barely chew her pasta and we requested a new order. The manager came up to us and said not to worry and that he would take care of it. Her second order came out softer but the food lost its flavor somehow and somewhere. Not once did the waiter care to come up to us to check on us but he kept checking on the bigger group a few times. I am not sure if us looking underdressed made us look less appealing to give good service to but it was something that wasn't right. We felt extremely singled out. None of us finished our food, we barely picked at it and the waiter rushed to pick our plates from the table, didn't even ask how we liked it or anything. We all left with an extremely bad taste in our mouths and we will not recommend this place to any of our friends or family. It is sad because we really wanted to like this place.
