This is rather easily the best barber shop in Orlando. I moved to St. Pete for a couple years and…read moreif anyone knows anything about a good hair stylist, when you find one, it is hard to find another. I went through a couple of barbers in St. Pete and while I didn't typically hate my hair, it wasn't the same as what I was used to. I eventually acquiesced, sucked it up, and accepted those barbers and made them my own. I recently move back to Orlando and tried to find a barber shop close to my home. I sampled several shops and found them all to be unbelievably lacking. I avoided my old barber because the shop was out of my way from my new house. One day I was forced to call him up and go to Ace of Spades. I got the best haircut I've had in years. Ace of Spades reminded me what a true barber shop looks, feels, and sounds like. My barber Chris is phenomenal. The shop itself is well-lit, clean, pleasing to the eye, large and with plenty of seating. The other barbers there are friendly, helpful, and boast of a wide variety. As long as I'm here in Orlando, I will always go to Ace of Spades, and if you're in town or are just looking to make a change, do yourself a favor and take a look here, as you will not be disappointed.

I had been looking for a barber for my husband and was struggling finding someone who can cut his curly hair into nice layers but also still taper the edges. He knew I was nervous about his first true barbershop cut and was super cool about it. He cut to a point and asked if I wanted it shorter or not. We walked through it together, and my son could not have been happier. I'm comfortable enough to let my son go here regularly without me having to take him. This is a true barbershop. No frills. No gimmicks. Just honest to goodness good. My boys don't have a father so it was nice to see all the men welcoming each other and chatting and laughing. My boys seemed to enjoy the positive male camaraderie. Watching all the men take turns and working together to teach math to one of the stylist's daughters made my day. I even teared up a little. It was super sweet. The music they played was uplifting and "safe for the little ears" which really made this place awesome.
