Had a very awkward and bad experience with this agent. Tried several times to reach agent to get an updated quote for new car I was considering getting, and never received response back. When I called to cancel the policy outright - since I found a new provider - he was immediately available. He told me he never received communications I was sending, even though I replied back to the same email address and thread that he initially responded to.
When I told him I wanted to cancel insurance, and told him I was getting a 50% cheaper rate with a competitor, he became agitated and aggressive. Then he said in order to cancel the policy, I would need to fax him the offer from the new company. Although that seemed like a sketchy request, I sent over the agreement. 2 weeks later the policy with him had still not been cancelled. I ended up having to call Nationwide directly and cancel my policy. read more
