Unfortunately, a lot of my health care providers do NOT accept United Healthcare which merged with Oxford. This is one of the cause for inevitably delayed my major surgery from late 2014 to early 2015. Thus, I subsequently terminated my coverage plan. I opt out of United Healthcare Oxford (oh, good riddance) and decided to enroll with a competitor which was widely accepted by my health care providers without doubt casted. Not an iota of rejection for a competitor health insurance policy from any of my health care providers. United Healthcare was nearly impossible to speak with a customer service representative due to long wait call times at all times of day and evenings. Monthly coverage cost was excessively overpriced for one individual, amid, I have no dependents.

He blocked me in the online portal, instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt. Now I have test results and no ENT. Whose going to take me on after all that? UHC made their goal happen. If they bill me, they get a COMPLAINT of lying, & fraud from me!!! What a bunch of a-holes-

I had headaches from whiplash and I had radio frequency approved by UHC. 5 months after the procedure that helped, UHC sent a letter: "In retrospect we should have not approved this." They sucked the money back and threw the bill at me. The pain mgmt doctor had to file a grievance to get back his fee. Senator Blumenthals office called UHC when he read an apology letter from Internal Affairs in reference to the lying CT. State troopers whose report didn't even include me in it. Next... my primary care doctor coded blood work incorrectly during a "Wellness visit," that's suppose to be free. He fixed it in a day, BUT "coding incorrectly," is a documented reason they're allowed to use to deny payment which was $636.00. I believe my doctor is on the insurance side and did it purposely. I went on Twitter and blurted it out. CEO calls in 20 minutes whining about me ratting their behavior out. He said with glee, we're allowed to use that error in our favor. I filed a complaint and it took 6 months to get them to whittle down what they paid to the lab. This is protocol. My primary care doctor is Dr Michael Deshaies. To this day he refers patients to the nastiest 1 star review criminals, and he sent me to Jefferson Radiology for my mammogram. It took 30 days for a result so I told him, that for the additional views I needed, I'm going back to West Hartford Imaging where I've ALWAYS gone to. You get the results that day. I'm leaving my primary care vomit bag doctor, moving to to Pro Health from Starling D- doctors, but they're assigning me someone and I can't get into until March 2025. It's insanity and we pay for it. #FAFO

After providing all requested information, I was transferred to another agent who then asked me to repeat the same questions all over again. I do wish that I could call them with a medical code to see if its covered before I go to an appointment but they don't do that. I appreciated all of the reps. I can remember a Wendy who was very helpful. The last rep I spoke to was Cecilia she was helpful, took her time, listened attentively. I appreciated her calmness when I felt anxious. She helped me when I was looking for doctors in network.
